Tom Elliott, executive producer of “The Peter Schiff Show” (an investment and finance radio show) put together an extensive list of reasons why he believes Americans should reject President Barack Obama at the polls today. Falling under 27 distinct subjects, Elliott highlights — with links to corroborate his reasoning — more than 300 reasons why not to vote for Obama.

In his extensive — and we mean extensive — post entitled, “The Ultimate A-Z Guide to Obama’s First Term,” the producer begins by taking aim at the most recent attacks on American interests in Libya and he concludes by highlighting what he believes was a lackluster response on the part of the Obama administration to the BP Gulf oil spill. Of course, there’s plenty more content covered between these topics (perspectives that many left-of-center voters will surely reject).

Below, we’ve highlighted just 15 of Elliott’s reasons (but the full list can be read here):

The Benghazi, Libya, Consulate Attack

Citing security failures, Elliot maintains that the September 11 attack on Benghazi, Libya, constitutes a mark against Obama. He concludes that, following the attack, “9/11 [is] now somehow even more painful” than it was before. Below, here are just three of his Benghazi-related reasons why not to vote for Obama:

  • The consulate was under threat long before 9/11, yet he failed to bolster security.
  • The CIA found terrorist links the following day, yet he continued blaming an unrelated YouTube video.
  • His vice president’s words of consolation to the father of former Navy SEAL slain in the attack: “Did your son always have balls the size of cue balls?”

The Ever-Increasing National Debt

Elliott also highlights the national debt as a major notch against Obama’s re-election bid. Despite promising to tackle the U.S. debt and annual deficits, the radio producer claims that president has failed miserably in this area. Here are some of the additional reasons that he urges voters to reject Obama:

  • Immediately sent debt skyrocketing.
  • For months he deferred calls to act on the deficit and debt by creating a commission to handle the issue; after the commission issued its report, he ignored it entirely.
  • Increased food stamp usage 50 percent.

ObamaCare (Health Care Legislation)

One of the more extensive sections of Elliott’s list focuses upon The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (ObamaCare). Below, see some of the more pointed reasons he believes that the legislation makes the president an unpalatable electoral choice:

  • States are forced to pick up ObamaCare’s tab.
  • ObamaCare taxes the uninsured, breaking a campaign promise.
  • ObamaCare increases taxes on families earning more than $250,000.
  • ObamaCare creates new tax forms for small business.

Fast & Furious

The Fast and Furious scandal has received a great deal of attention in recent months. According to Elliot, it’s yet another example corroborating why, in his view, the president doesn’t deserve a second term. Here are just a few of his bullet points associated with the scandal:

  • DoJ/ATF arranged for thousands of heavy assault rifles to make their way into the hands of Mexican narco warlords, setting the stage for a mass slaughter of Mexicans (more than 300 to date).
  • U.S. Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry was also killed as a result of the operation.
  • More than 1,400 weapons remain lost.

The Stimulus (American Recovery and Reinvestment Act)

The stimulus has been a hot-button issue since Obama advocated for it back in February 2009. The nearly-trillion dollar government investment package is also on Elliott’s list. Aside from a multitude of company failures — groups that received funds and then went belly-up, the producer tackled a few other issues associated with the stimulus package:

  • Stimulus recipient Solyndra … failed.
  • His stimulus bill actually destroyed 1 million jobs, according to one study.

As stated, not everyone is going to agree with many of the bullet points presented in Elliott’s list. Still, the issues raised are fascinating. In the end, political persuasion will surely dicate where people stand on each indicator. To read Elliott’s entire list, click here.
