Actress Melissa Joan Hart, best known for her roles in “Sabrina, the Teenage Witch” and “Clarissa Explains It All,” threw her support behind the Romney/Ryan ticket on Twitter Monday, swiftly prompting vicious attacks from the Left.

The actress first tweeted “Finish this sentence for me … Being a Republican in Hollywood is like…” She followed up with a full blown endorsement for GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney and his running mate Paul Ryan.

And that seemingly innocent tweet posted by an American female expressing her constitutional right to vote for the candidate of her choice was more than enough to shake the metaphoric bee hive of the “tolerant left,” as Hart put it.

Here are some of the ugliest attacks hurled at the actress (WARNING! Graphic language):

Though out of all of the disgustingly profane and ugly tweets, this one may take the cake:

However, it should be noted, for every hateful message that Hart received, she got two or three supportive tweets. And she was appreciative.

“The amazing amount of love & kind messages were overwhelming today. Lets all get out and #vote tomorrow for whichever candidate u prefer!” she later tweeted.

    All the hate makes me sick. In other words it is ok for her to do whatever she wants as long as it appeases the social supports don’t approve of. If she steps out of line they hang her out to dry and threaten/degrade her. I’m so gld I am not part of your party Dems. This is what is turning all my friends away from your party too. I have been a conservtive since i could vote but my choice is made even more solid every time i see this happen to others . I get called names all the time because I support a smaller goverment and pople helping people… Anyways I liked it and sharing this on facebook.

      The only good thing about the left is that it keeps the right in check. No matter what happens with this election I think the right has shown that it can be equally organized as well as the left. Before Obama came along conservatives were never organized, had learned to grow through social networking, and I don’t see the tea party movement dying out any time soon. I still think that the country is headed off of an economic cliff, religion will come under more attack, more of our freedoms will be taken away, etc. As soon as this election is over, though, I’d like to see Obama held responsible for Benghazi. If nothing else happens this year then, oh well, let’s at least nail this administration with murder in Libya.

      Thank you mittenskittens, yes we are ready for civil war and the greatest thing about it is that we aren’t afraid of the left, never have been, never will be. We do not plan on starting anything, BUT we are certainly willing and able to STOP it in it’s tracks.
      If you stop, read and think it through, the left has been getting ready for a civil war for 40+ yrs. Now, that they have a moron for a leader, they are willing to become morons and start a battle they can’t possibly win.

And, through those years I have watched it evolve into the world of idiocracy exemplified in the movie by the same name. I can not fathom the level of idiocy need to ignore the blatant lies and deception we find about of President. I do not recognize my country anymore. People, good people, men and women have given their lives for YOUR FREEDOM. I would ask this one thing of you today, GO INTO YOUR DAY AND DEFEND FREEDOM AT THE VOTING BOOTH. FIGHT FOR FREEDOM TODAY.       I sure hope so, and I don’t really like him either, but he the the better choice at the time.

      The lefties always use this kind of hate speech when they lose one of their valued Hollywood people.

      The bottom line is that they prove their stupidity a little more every time they do it.

      The problem here id that therre are a lot of dumb people in this country, those who love the government handout squad, they love those freebies and they don’t want to lose them.

      They could care less about the country, or the state that it’s in due to the entitlements they just want the hondouts, and they will vote Obama.

      I think that Leaders like CLINT EASTWOOD; JON VOIGHT; so many more have made it OKAY in “Hollywood” to speak out.
