Jesse Jackson Jr. Re-Elected Despite Mental Health Issues, Will Serve Once He Gets Doctor’s Approval

Jesse Jackson Jr. Wins Re Election 2012 From Mayo Clinic

Congressman Jesse Jackson Junior (D-IL) has shocked many by winning re-election, despite going on medical leave in June and barely appearing in public for months.

He is currently being treated for bipolar disorder at the Mayo Clinic, according to NBC5 Chicago, but few other details have been released.

Jackson commented through a spokesperson:

“My deep and sincere thanks to the people of the 2nd Congressional District, I am humbled and moved by the support shown today…Everyday, I think about your needs and concerns. Once the Doctors approve my return to work, I will continue to be the progressive fighter you have known for years. My family and I are grateful for your many heartfelt prayers and kind thoughts. I continue to feel better everyday and look forward to serving you.”

Jackson won his first race in 1995, but aside from a robo-call in mid-October in which he said said is “human” and doing his best, Jackson has almost refrained from campaigning altogether.

ABC7 reminds that Jackson’s re-election comes in the midst of a House Ethics Committee investigation into links to imprisoned former Gov. Rod Blagojevich.

Allen West out. Jesse Jackson Jr in???? This country is off its rocker. Jesse Jackson Jr is faking bi-polar disorder to avoid prosecution for trying to buy Obama’s senate seat. He is of course the self entitled, undeserving son of race hustling, adulterous criminal Jesse Jackson Sr. These son of bitches should be sharing a jail cell but in present day America conservative black men are demonized as liberal black con artists are rewarded a sick “Kardashian/Jersey Shore” culture. This country is on an irreversible downward slide. God has forsaken us because our country turned out back on him a long time ago. This will be the fastest case of buyers remorse in the history of the world where this Dictator Obama is concerned. The Mayo Clinic should be treating all of the 2nd Congressional District. I have little hope for this country. The population is too ignorant and/or self-indulgent, either lining their pockets at the public trough, or voting themselves goodies as constituents. This guy didn’t deserve to be in office in the first place. He’s disgraced his position many times over.

This country has lost its collective mind. Blacks keep voting for a black candidate even though he has a purported “mental disorder.” and is under investigation by the FBI? Blacks are the agents of their own destruction….and everyone else’s. And Obama is re-elected. A Marxist with no constraints. God help us to endure the next four years.

Only in Chicago could this happen. I think the entire electorate needs to go on meds like Jackson. This country is so screw, and I’m glad at my age I won’t have to see much more of this madness. This once was A great country, but know that we have a total moron running our Nation, I am happy I grew up in the years you could be proud to be American. Not anymore!

This is exactly an example of what I am most fearful of. Doesn’t matter that this guy is one sick puppy, his “demographics” vote him back in because of his color. When will we become a really colorblind society? I don’t think the minorities will let it truly become colorless and judge a person just by they’re real self, they don’t believe anyone can’t be racist because they are themselves.

I feel so bad for him that he is surrounded by family and friends who do NOT have his best interests at heart as they encouraged him to remain in the race. He is not a well man and should be given as large amount of healthy, worry- free time as he needs. I just feel so bad for him.

Oh, and those people that voted for him are idiots!

  In the long term a person like Jackson is foolish & dragging us all down. In the short term he is a criminal genius bringing home the loot. Eric Holder will squash the case against him. I would bet he is safe.
  
  In the short run the coalition of special interest groups of the Democrat Party are victorious. In the long term internationally their shenanigans matter naught. We are going to get scr/wed.
  
  Iranian President Ahmadinjad backed Obama. Was there any question as to who to vote for?
