Syndicated columnist Charles Krauthammer is known for his stellar political analysis. And, as we’ve noted, he’s among those who believe that Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney has a solid shot at winning today’s election. On Monday, Krauthammer appeared on FOX News’ “Special Report,” where he went into detail about how the GOP candidate might win, highlighting three, specific paths to victory.
Unlike critics who contend that Romney’s chances are not, as many experts have claimed, “difficult and narrow,” the commentator sees possibilities for the Republican contender. To begin, Krauthammer sets the stage for a Romney win, noting that the candidate must secure the South in order for the plans to fall into place.
With that in mind, the columnist claims that Romney would potentially sail to victory if he secured Ohio and New Hampshire. If Ohio is not winnable though, all hope is not lost, as Krauthammer believes that Romney could then win by capturing Colorado and Wisconsin. But these aren’t the only paths.
“If Obama doesn’t win any of these states outside of the south, he can do it with one way – Pennsylvania,” he continued.
As for the president’s closing message to voters, Krauthammer dismisses it as weak and ineffective.
“Romney’s a bad guy. Trust me,” is how the commentator framed the president’s re-election appeal. “I don’t really think that sells.”

Nov. 6, 2012 at 3:11pmOnce this is all said and done, I think it will be the contraception issue, where Obama tried to force the Catholic church to provide it, that tipped the scales for Romney. What happened, is that our sacred right to free religion was touched! Obama brought on himself EVERY church in the country, including fundamentalist evangelicals, Mormons, Christian “lite”, everyone, to vote him out. I have never heard my church encourage us to go and vote along “biblical lines”, which means against the party that is pro-gay marriage and pro-abortion, and is infringing on the right to chose these things. Obama’s crucial mistake was to tinker with the Christian right. They are coming out from under rocks to vote. It will be a landslide for Romney.

Nov. 6, 2012 at 2:22pmI think that Romney will win easily. Why? Because I think he will. I have no evidence for it. Forget the polls. They are just democrats in sheep’s clothing. Forget the media. They are just democrats too. Believe all the geniuses on the blaze because they know the truth. god told us that romney will win and his magic underwear will be lit up all night.

Nov. 6, 2012 at 1:42pmI consider today to be a milestone day in American history. Two very different paths are in front of us. Which will it be? Boy-king totalitarian socialism or quasi-progressive Romney? At least one gives us the opportunity to steer the country back on a reasonable path…the other with 4 years of EO’s and full implementation of NoBamaCAIR, the USA will forever be the USSA.

Nov. 6, 2012 at 12:52pmI voted this morning in a predominantly Republican district of MI. The line was 5x longer than other presidential elections, took over an hour, parked on the lawn as were others. The poll workers said they have never seen anything like this. All morning busy. I voted at 11:45am.
I think a lot of people have been offended over the past 4 years on faith issues, Israel, deficit, “police acted stupidly”, wasted stimulus, rammed healthcare, loss of jobs, being called racist all the time, dangerous foreign policy, disarming our military, blaming …. you name it. The only group that hasn’t been offended are the 11% that are just one issue zombies.

Nov. 6, 2012 at 8:52amFlip-flopping Krauthammer is at it again. He also thinks Chris Christie’s support of Obama will cost Romney the election. Does he think that people are going to only remember that and forget the past four years of lying, divisiveness, corruption, apologizing, and the cover-up of Benghazi? I’m sick of all these talking heads. A vote for Romney will also be seen as a vote against the media bias and protection that they have been giving Obama. The media is going DOWN! Nov. 6, 2012 at 8:54amPray for Maobama. I do. Psalm 109.8 comes to mind: “Let his days be few and let another take his office.” Today my friends and fellow patriots we can begin to end our long, national nightmare. This is our last opportunity to take our country back from Godless socialists and secular humanists through peaceful means. The sooner this POS and his minions are out of our government the better off the people of the United States shall be.
What business owner in his or her right mind would even think of hiring anyone when the labor cost variable is undetermined? You can’t run a business that way. Businesses are based upon profit and reasonable risk for commensurate potential return. Our liar in chief has no grasp of basic economics nor of business that is why the real unemployment rate is over 17%. Rush was right in wishing for Obummer to fail because his clear purpose has been and continues to be the destruction or our economic and social systems. It is abundantly clear that he hates our way of life.
A vote for Barry Sotero is a vote for a life of collective mediocrity. Our nation is better than that. It is my fervent prayer and belief that we will turn out in overwhelming droves to kick his a$$ back to Chicago, or Hawaii…or Kenya or from wherever the F@*& he was
I stand by my prediction that this election will be a landslide victory for R2

Nov. 6, 2012 at 8:22amReverse engineer this thing to at LEAST 1913 — verify the FACTS yourself/ (Due diligence, like your rights, are non-delegable) —>. In 1913, Congress passed and entered the 17th amendment as ratified, even though the states had no opportunity to ratify the same. This amendment is not only not ratified, it is not constitutional; the Constitution forbids Congress from even discussing the matter of where Senators are elected.
In 1914, the Freshman class and all Senators that successfully ran for re-election in 1913 by popular vote are seated in Corp. U.S. capacity only.
In 1917, Corp. U.S. enters WWI and passes their Emergency War Powers, and Trading with the Enemies Acts.
In 1918, President Wilson is re-elected by the Electoral College but their election is required to be confirmed by the constitutionally set Senate; where in the new Corp. U.S., only Senators were allowed to participate in the Electoral College vote confirmation. The only authority that could possibly have been used for electoral confirmation was corporate only. Therefore, President Wilson was NOT confirmed into office for his second term as President of the United States of America and was ONLY seated in the Corp. U.S. Presidential (CEO) capacity. Therefore the original jurisdiction government’s seats were vacated because the People didn’t seat any original jurisdiction government officers. –>http://www.teamlaw.org/ follow to the Historical TimeLine on lefthand side… then — VERIFY it.

Nov. 6, 2012 at 9:18amI would take it a step farther. I would argue that even if the 17th was properly ratified, by article V of the Constitution it cannot be made to be binding. Any state could appoint its Senators as originally stated without violating the Constitution. Article V specifically defines the parameters for amendments and states, in no uncertain terms, that state governments can only be denied their equal voice in the senate if they consent to it and that no amendment can alter that.
