Obama Calls Supporter in Wisc. … And She Doesn’t Know Who He Is

President Obama stopped at a campaign office in Chicago to make thank-you calls to volunteers on Tuesday. Unfortunately for him, the first person he spoke with wasn’t sure who he was when he called.

“Hi is this Hattie? This is Barack Obama,” the President said on the phone, according to a pool report.

Obama had to repeat who he was. “This is Barack Obama. You know, the president?” he said.

A separate pool report indicates the person on the line was Hattie Portis-Jones, a Georgia woman who was helping get out the vote in Wisconsin.

After hanging up, Obama said, “She was very nice to me even though she initially didn’t know who I was.”

This post has been updated to reflect it was specifically a campaign volunteer the President called, not just a voter.

  He should have said, “You know, Barry Sotero from Kenya. I was born in Hawaii, but I don’t have a birth certificate, I grew up in Indonesia as a Muslim and later came back to the US on a foreign student scholarship. The guy who traveled to Pakistan back in the early 80′s when US citizens weren’t allowed because of sanctions. I attended Columbia University where no one remembers me and later I became the Harvard Review editor after my Islamic brothern from Saudi Arabia gave Harvard a turd load of money. According to the data, Mitt Romney already has 697,143 votes before the polls opened a couple of hours ago, while Barack Obama only has 605,546, a difference of almost 92,000 votes.
