Syrian Demonstrators Chant To Hell with Freedom Want Islamic Caliphate Koranic Rule and Weapons

Just last week, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton dismissed the exiled leadership of the Syrian opposition as “a bunch of out-of-touch exiles who should be replaced with a group more representative of the fighters on the ground.” That’s at least how The New York Times described her sentiment.

Clinton said the “opposition must include people from inside Syria and others who have a legitimate voice that needs to be heard.”

Ladies and gentleman, hear the voice of at least some of the members of the Syrian opposition “on the ground.”

The Middle East Media Research Institute (MEMRI) translated a video of a demonstration that took place in Syria’s capital Damascus in September and was posted only Monday on YouTube. The marchers unabashedly declare what they really want to gain by unseating President Bashar Assad and his secular Ba’ath regime. They want an Islamic caliphate, instituting the Koran as the law of the land, and AK-47s.

And for all that, they say: “To hell with freedom!”

This is MEMRI’s translation from Arabic of the chants belted out the demonstration. The video can be seen below.

Hezbollah flag

These slogans promoting a militantly-defended caliphate are reminiscent of next-door-neighbor Hezbollah’s flag. The first letter of the Arabic word Allah – which looks like a lower-case L in English – is holding up the assault rifle.

Clinton said last week: “We also need an opposition that will be on record strongly resisting the efforts by extremists to hijack the Syrian revolution.” If this demonstration is any indication, it appears that is becoming harder to find.

I think that Obama and Hillary knew all along from previous encounters with Muslims that the idea of their personal freedom was just a smoke screen! They both knew what this was going to become, an Islamic Caliphate! Obama was always on the side of our enemies even before all the Socialists elected him President!

  Of course they knew. they knew that was the way it was going to go in egypt too. The protesters weren’t protesting thier government in the sense that the west understands protests. It was the islamist sharia law, al qauda, hamas that was protesting the syrian government. They wanted Assad to just hand over his country to them. obama and hillary think they can “work” with the muslim brotherhood, but the muslim brotherhood has no respect for them or any westerner. Hillary is delusional at best, a traitor in my eyes after she spoke in favor of the UN resolution 1618 criminalizing free speech against islam.

I really hate to say this, but are we so evolved as a species and as a society that we can’t just take all of these bloomin’ idiots off the plamet in one fell swoop? We have the technology.

Most of us find it difficult to understand how anyone would not want freedom. Having worked as a prison psychologist, I experienced this first hand. It is called the “freedom of slavery.” Prrisoners, like slaves, don’t have to worry about where to live, what to eat, where to get medical attention, etc. and are perfectly willing to trade “freedom” for a total lack of responsibility; especially if their life on the outside was less than desirable.

  Great comment Doc – I think we can take this a step further and say that we also become slaves to the modern conveniences in society.. Every time we don’t do something ourselves, we give up control and personal growth/ experience. We don’t exercise, we don’t have to learn, we don’t have to be creative, we don’t have to socialize… I think we lose touch with the priorities and experiences that make life a rich experience by depending on so many modern “conveniences”… I think this is part of the reason why our country has become what it is today.

Wonder when the big thinkers in D.C. will finally figure out the Middle East? Do they understand that the void left from a strong dictator will always fill with a radical Islamic government? They do not want freedom. They only respect power, and the power void in this part of the world will always fill with radical Islam. Why waste sending any support to any country in the Middle East. Iran, Tunisia, Egypt, Libya. Syria is next when Assad is killed. No matter who the U.S. supports. The Middle East is going to burn and it will be by their own hands.

  Some problems will resolve themselves as people see our way works & adopt our ways.
  
  But if you think that if we just stay from sea to shining sea no harm will come to us or if it does we will bat it back with less effort or bloodshed than if we were actively involved in the world then you are seriously mistaken.
  
  First off Thomas Jefferson found out the hard way that people will rob, murder & enslave you even if you are minding your own business.
  
  Remember trolls there was no Guantanamo back them, no Israel (although many Jews & Christians live there), no oil from Saudi Arabia & yet still we were attacked.
  
  Further trolls we were attacked when we used non violent means of trying to settle international conflicts. We refused to sell scrap iron to Japan as a way to get them to cease the invasion of China.
  
  So no troll can claim persuasively claim that nonviolence & isolationism work. I know they will claim it & they will persuade less than 49% of people over the long haul.

  Here is what the Ummah could do to reform Islam:
  1) Renounce Jihad in all its forms
  2) Renounce Sharia law
  3) Stop killing apostates
  4) Stop presenting the allah deity as the God of the Bible
  
  It will never happen. The best we in the non-muslim would can do is exhibit strength and resolve when confronting the Jihad. Doing so consistently will allow us to provide safe passage for the millions who desire greatly to apostate and break the chains of bondage which yoke them to Mecca.
  
  Our expression of weakness has for all too long been mistaken by the Ummah as a lack of strength. Art of War warns against mistaking an expression of weakness for a lack of strength. The Ummah has made this mistake and will now pay for it dearly.

  Add to that more freedom from restrictive sexual taboos, more freedom for women to not be covered up and out of sight, not having to be up before dawn to pray and then pray 4 more times before day’s end, and the freedom to think for oneself vs. slavish adherence to a religion that promotes hate and death to anyone who doesn’t convert. Lots of angry people with little hope for any meaning in their life outside of their religion and this is what you get.

Ok let me get this right. Help me if you can. People in this country actually believe Obama has a good grasp on Middle East foreign policy.
1 Egypt was the first to fall into radical hands and they didn’t see it.
2 The Iranians have used him like they did Bush and bought more time for weapons development and they didn’t see it.
3 His administration started a war in Libya, with good intentions, but that is now in the hands of radical islamists.
4 He got 4 of our countrymen killed over weapons that went to Libya’s insurgents who then transported those weapons through the Turks to Syria for that war,
5 We have boots on the ground in Jordan. Why??????????? They’re next for civil war.
6 Suadi Arabian wants international Blasphemy ban on Islam. No influence pertaining to freedom of speech.
7 Pakistan uses him like they did Bush and we have no control over them.
8 Afghanistan is a bottomless pit for our troops and our money especially with no support from Pakistan.
9 Our borders are pourous and I’m sure we have sleeper cells.

This guy got a Nobel Peace prize? That used to mean something.

  In many respects the Pakistani government works like ancient steppe tribes or the mafia. As soon as the is not enough money, loot or graft to spread around the system implodes.
  
  We stop foreign aid to Pakistan & they fold. We do not have to give foreign aid to India. sure they have problems but so do we. We just engage in fair trade with India & watch Pakistan tear itself apart. Sure the Russian Bear will come again, but we should let the Muslims fight alone. We aided them in the 1980s & the f/cked us.
  
  (We did not send aid to Usama like the lying left alleges. We did thru the Pakistani ISI send aid to the likes of Hekmatyar. Better people like Massoud also got aid, but the reprobate Hekmatyar got the lion’s share. He gotm it mainly because he was of no account. He had no base among the people, so the ISI reasoned that the craven engineer would be beholden to them.)
  
  Anyway stop all aid to Pakistan. They are no different than Sodom & Gomorrah. Since when do parents have acid handy to drench their daughters in if they take on glance at a boy. Only in an evil place.

The only solution for the Middle East is Isolation.
Let them annihilate themselves and the problem will disappear at least for another 4 or 5 hundred years after they’ve had time to re-breed another substancial population.

I am a firm believer in Freedom of Religion but islam is not a Religion, it is a death cult and dangerous to the whole world. They have no respect for human rights, womens rights, freedom or life. Never have and never will.

Isolate them and they will destroy themselves.

This is what Benghazi is about. An American “ambassador” arming Islamic extremists using taxpayer money. The United States of America is working with the Muslim Brotherhood to overthrow every secular government in the middle east. Jordon is next.
Rather than keeping dangerous weapons out of the hands of extremists our government is illegally funding the so called rebels that are not even from Syria. Jihadists from all over the middle east are pouring into Syria to help establish the caliphate or world domination that the Islamic people want to establish. Having seen what these people are capable of do you think we should be giving them weapons that they will eventually be turning on us?
