Woman in Labor Stops to Vote for Obama on Her Way to the Hospital

Galicia Malone, 21, was determined, despite the odds against her, to cast her vote in the 2012 presidential election on Tuesday. The Dolton, Illinois, resident was so set on making her voice heard that, despite being in labor, she stopped off at New Life Church on her way to the hospital.

Malone arrived at the polling location around 8:30 a.m. in the morning, a bustling time. Upon entering the building, the young mother-to-be asked for a chair and told election workers that she was in labor.

“She was actually happy about it,” election judge Kija Bozeman told WLS-TV. “It was her first time voting, so first time voting, first-time child. It was exciting for her.”

Bozeman went on to say that Malone made it clear that she wanted to have the chance to choose her selection for president before her baby arrived — a feat she inevitably accomplished.

Officials helped usher her through the voting process, at which point she exited the building and headed to the hospital. Her surprising resolve obviously stuck out to those working at the precinct.

“She was already in pain. You know, because I was noticing,” said Precinct 75 captain Will Bobo. “And when she left, she seemed to have more of a stress on her face than she did going in.”

Malone later told a local newspaper that she voted for President Barack Obama.

Her kid is going to have to pay for all her free stuff. Socialism has been tried before; it doesn’t work. This is what happens when you go to school and tune-out.

I’m six weeks out of the hospital from emergency open heart surgery. I didn’t have insurance due to prior conditions and Blue Cross wanted $1740.00 per month (just for me, not my wife). I have the hospital and clinics breathing down my throat for the $140,000.00 (and counting) bills and I don’t qualify for any help, because I’m a young(er) white male with no children at home. I even had a social service worker joke saying, “If only you were a ‘single mother’”!!

I voted today. I stood in line clutching my chest in pain and voted. Not for free Obama money, hospital payments, or Obama phones. I stood in the cold in pain so I could vote for ‘freedom’. You bet your **** I voted for Romney! So it really burns me up to know “those” people have only voted twice in their lives. Once four years ago and once today, only to get their free Obama money!

You bet I voted for freedom. Then to get home and see the story that Blacks are organizing to “riot and loot” if their boyyy doesn’t win, makes me want to vomit.

Wonder if she used her Obama phone to call the hospital, where Medicare will cover the bill for the birth, food stamps and WIC to feed her and the baby; drove there in a GM vehicle bought with cash for clunkers? You bet she voted for Obama!

I really hope she has a job and a husband (or fully involved significant other, but no mention is made of that in the story so apparently she was alone in the cab, just speculating mind you….) I’d honor her vote for Obama if she is working and not a “single Mom” from the out set, otherwise? just another set of parasites seeking to suck me dry and making sure they can, clawing at me to bring us both under. God I am so sick of being victimized by “victims”.

Hey, my son voted for the first time today too. Good for these young Americans. Too bad the one in the article doesn’t have a clue as to what tyranny may come.
