Mark Faber, editor and publisher of “The Gloom, Boom, & Doom Report,” during a Bloomberg TV interview on Wednesday made it absolutely clear that he was not thrilled with the outcome of the presidential election.
According to “Dr. Doom,” President Obama’s re-election is a “negative for the economy,” the “standards of living of people in the western hemisphere will continue to decline,” it may become necessary in the future to protect one’s assets “with a gun, a machine gun … or perhaps a tank,” and President Obama may not be able to make it through his full term because “there will be so many scandals” since “there is so much smoke, there must be some fire!”
Of course, to be fair, Faber also said that he didn’t think a Romney presidency would have been much better for the economy. However, he did note that Republicans seem to be a lot more concerned with the nation’s debt than the president and his followers.
Faber becomes particularly fiery at around the 07:30 mark, but you’ll want to watch everything leading up to that point for context:

Nov. 8, 2012 at 10:10amWhat concerns me the most is Bozzo use of executive orders to bypass congress & usurp the will of ‘we the people’…there must be a way to stop this and soon!
Maybe that is what Beck refers to when his T-shirts say ‘I will not comply’?

Nov. 8, 2012 at 9:57amBy all accounts 1013 and 2014 will be terrible economicly. While the immediate focus will be on the fiscal cliff and we will be inundated by the back n forth between Boehner and Reid, the treasury will run out of money this December. Way earlier than the projected February mark. In January the pain from Obamacare will start in earnest. If you sell property, 3.8% will go to Obamacare. Soc. Sec. checks will be reduced $50 a month Jan2013 and another $150/month jan2014. Finally, the state exchanges will have to be set up requiring a huge amount of cash from our state governments. Most of which are ill=prepared to handle it. Focus will be on new state taxes and cuts in medicaid and other popular programs. Be sure to point these things out while many voters are still looking back.

Nov. 8, 2012 at 10:09amQuestion? Will congress keep Boehner or select another chairman? I don’t think they have the balls to vote him out but it is an option. If they do, who would be best to replace him. Remember that it would have to be someone that would, in no way, be a wuss. Keep the powder dry folks!

If you live life thinking the rapture will bail you out, you will miss the most important moments of your life. Trust God daily, and live.
