George Soros: Obamas Win Means Americans Have Rejected Extremist Positions

Soros Fund Management Chairman George Soros speaks during a panel discussion at the Nicolas Berggruen Conference in Berlin, Germany, Oct. 30, 2012. Soros called President Barack Obama’s re-election a sign that “the American electorate has rejected extremist positions.” (AP)

George Soros called President Barack Obama’s re-election a sign that Americans have “rejected extremist positions.”

The billionaire investor told Reuters in an email Tuesday that Obama’s victory of Republican challenger Mitt Romney will open “the door for more sensible politics.”

“I’m delighted that President Obama has won. The American electorate has rejected extremist positions,” Soros said.

Soros donated $1 million to the pro-Obama super PAC Priorities USA in late September and has been a significant contributor to other Democratic and progressive causes.

Soros also told Reuters he hopes “the Republicans in office will make better partners in the coming years” and said cooperation between the two parties is “urgently” needed to head off the so-called fiscal cliff at the end of the year.

In CONTROL, Glenn Beck presents a passionate, fact-based case for guns that reveals why gun control isn’t really about controlling guns at all; it’s about controlling us. Find out more HERE.

Do you believe the U.S had divine intervention to create it? You either do, or you do not. Why do you believe that? Maybe the fog moving in, or maybe it was the storms at the right time. Maybe it was in the British Loyalist witnessing George Washington praying. Or maybe if people had the mind to see it, maybe it could be something deeper than that. Maybe it could be the movement of the History of the U.S. [Maybe the U.S is the world] Maybe to see the decay throughout the planet since the beginning of the world. Maybe the creation of the U.S follows right along the line of [The creation in Genesis]. Maybe even in the way the U.S spans from Ocean to Ocean, and in-between those oceans is the Firmament of Heaven. It sounds good to me.

Sadly, I think there’s truth to what he said — Americans STILL don’t realize in large enough numbers that Obama really is “extremely extreme”. Because he’s a deceiver, employing other talented deceivers like Bill Clinton.

America is naive right now, and he played us like a fiddle (or a lyre?).

Plus, he probably cheated. We’ll see if anything comes out about that.

Soros IS a socialist. Socialist and Communist countries are run by elites like Soros who control everything. Theirs is a “this is good for everyone but me” scenario, just like the rulers in DC exempted themselves from Obamacare. Because he is superior to you and I , in his mind, he can have different rules than those he makes for us, that is what rulers do. You are no longer a citizen, you are a subject to a socialist government in a socialist country governed by a Soros puppet.

Yes he is Socialist and believes in Socialism, he just calls it “Progressive” now. And he’s used hundreds of millions of dollars starting 100s of organizations with the goal of changing society’s perceptions (through media, civil service, etc) and changing 100s of educational institutions to teach his Leftist crap to the people. George’s The Open Society has been wreaking havoc on American citizens’ values and morals for years, and we’re seeing the fruits of his money and evil in the American people. They’ve been brainwashed by him, through 100s of avenues. He is responsible for this country’s demise. And if someone doesn’t stop him, our country will be completely unrecognizable in the near future. He has his puppet in the White House for another 4 years, plenty of time for him to completely change America into a Socialist country.

Actually they have rejected the Belief Entitled. Those who value their own beliefs more than their country, their community and their neighbor. They view and listen to media outlets that pander to their beliefs through selective and biased reporting. They hold positions on issues based on beliefs rather than facts, scientific findings and rational analysis. Those who have extended their right to religious beliefs to anything else they want to believe about science, economics, public policy and even the PRESIDENT. Those who are so self centered and arrogant in their believes that they will pay media types their hard earned money to feed an addiction to their ideology and beliefs. And finally those who believe they have some right to redefine or limit what the constitution means when it states liberty and justice of all …. and more importantly self determination. Time for the children to leave the room and the adults start talking about what they can do to improve the state of their country, their community and their fellow Americans. And yes they have a responsibility to pay it forward …. providing the same country, community, educational system and opportunity to the next generation, that their grandparents and parents provided to them. Something that cutting taxes won’t do.

The ’cause’ is to get the left exposed for what they are; murderous anti-Christians.
Somehow, these people are going to get organized, and really start to believe the great evils in their undisciplined lives, are actually caused by Christians…..like homosexuality would magically not be deviant if Christian people would not point out that God, himself, called it an abomination….or that abortion would not be murder if Christians would not maintain conception as the start of human beings. I did not say these people are deluded, God does, and takes responsibility for it.
There was no written law, when Cain slew Abel, but the Lord called it murder, nonetheless Cain β€˜spiritually’ knew it was wrong. Ecclesiastes teaches us that there is nothing new under the sun. Human nature and the nature of God have NOT changed. Not one jot.

We are of a similar mind. I’ve already stated on other threads that we need to organize a serious secession movement, now, today. Sort of like a much larger version of the Freestate Project. Take a boat load of what remains of the actively thinking producers out to places like Wyoming, Idaho, Nebraska, the Dakotas, Montana, and then secede. It’s not an easy thing to contemplate, and I think it will take a long time, but I don’t see any other option. It’s kind of difficult to “secede” as an individual these days.

That is what happened to RonPaul, and his wonderful ideas. Actually, Georgie, that’s not at all what his reelection means.

It means we have a nation of slugs looking for a handout and Barry promised them the moon. Unfortunately, Socialists like you never deliver on your promises. You simply smile as you lead the masses to the gas chambers. Our society has been ‘dumbed down’ to the point where a majority of our citizens have no comprehension of what it takes to create jobs and grow an economy. The basics of free enterprise are not taught in school so graduates leave institutions believing someone ‘out there’ owes them a job and a lifestyle…and a smart phone they can send naked pictures on. America just bought itself immeasurable trouble by reelecting this nitwit. God help us all.

Here is another perspective……The world is hedonistic at heart….would rather have a lot of sex, preferably ‘casual’, than be Mature, responsible, moral, productive, FREE people. So at the altar of Ba’al, not only have we laid a generation of our own to the smoke, and another to the fire…we have laid also our identity and our liberty. LET”S PAAARTAY!!!!

Romney was about as extreme as buttered toast.

He was about as conservative as Jimmy Carter.

Sorry, but there was nothing extreme about Romney. He lost, because he’s an east coast Leftist who offered very little substantially different than what his Leftist comrade opponent offered.

The mantra now from the Left, as always, is “Kill the freedom movement, convince them they are irrelevant”. It’s a ploy. Don’t buy into it.

Soros is the ultimate winner in this election: he has gained progress in his declared intent to ‘reduce America in an controlled descent.”

Any mass changes in stocks, bonds, gold and other commodities and especially land are his to take advantage of for the gain of him and his family. No matter how bad Obama is, Soros is a man to be truly concerned about and an adversary to be respected (not feared).

The rejection of Romney by the voting public just goes to show how extreme the left has become, they would rather see their country in ashes than elect even a moderate over the anointed one.

I say America rejected social conservatism which is a misnomer and a progressive movement anyway. Romney certainly didn’t represent constitutional or fiscal conservatism at all. I don’t know if America would reject that or not. I imagine constitutional conservatism would be popular because I don’t believe the public is all that excited about the police state. Fiscal conservatism would require more work to convince enough people that capitalism is the best system for everyone because of commie indoctrination, but at least it can explained with logic rather than “because God said so”.

what lunacy is this man spouting?!
extremist positions are expanding government beyond the scope of the Constitution, ignoring the position of the opposition, and acting without compromise or cooperation.

Wait… that sounds like what we had.
And what is truly terrifying is that if the Mayan’s weren’t right… if the GOP Congress stands firm and demands accountability from the White House, demands appropriate budgets and obedience to the Constitution, the MSM will decry the ‘grid lock’ in 2 years and the voting sheep in the major city centers getting food stamps and other citizen’s money will vote more of the liberal politicians into office, giving Barack a final 2 years unfettered by reason…

Remember the first two years, America? When we had to ‘pass a bill to find out what’s in the bill?’ That’s how he’ll end his Presidency, passing whatever he wants, unopposed.

Thanks a lot, Ohio, Iowa, and Chris Christie…

      Stoic,
I think living in big cities must drive people mad. Most of them have no idea what the world is like outside of the cesspools they have created for themselves. They line up and chant the liberal chant and think people of color are too stupid to make their own way so they need to be chained to welfare programs. When the SHTF those of us in less populated areas will flourish while they wither and die without their cradle to grave entitlements.

STEELHEAD, Please tell me just how Romney could possibly have forced his Mormon religion upon us all in this day and age. Mormons have been around since long before this country and will continue well into the future. Surely you remember the Establishment Clause in the 1st Amendment, which the left has perverted into separation of church and state. So, elaborate on that accusation.

In the Jewish mind of George Soros, communism is not extreme. It is the norm of his culture. He does not understand that to freedom loving people, freedom for the individual, communism is extreme. The Jewish Hess, Marx, Alinsky, Piven, Stern, Bloom, Sunstein… are no different. They desire a world kibbutz, where the individual’s freedom is subordinated to the needs of the collective.
