George Soros: Obama’s Win Means Americans Have ‘Rejected Extremist Positions’

Soros Fund Management Chairman George Soros speaks during a panel discussion at the Nicolas Berggruen Conference in Berlin, Germany, Oct. 30, 2012. Soros called President Barack Obama’s re-election a sign that “the American electorate has rejected extremist positions.” (AP)
George Soros called President Barack Obama’s re-election a sign that Americans have “rejected extremist positions.”
The billionaire investor told Reuters in an email Tuesday that Obama’s victory of Republican challenger Mitt Romney will open “the door for more sensible politics.”
“I’m delighted that President Obama has won. The American electorate has rejected extremist positions,” Soros said.
Soros donated $1 million to the pro-Obama super PAC Priorities USA in late September and has been a significant contributor to other Democratic and progressive causes.
Soros also told Reuters he hopes “the Republicans in office will make better partners in the coming years” and said cooperation between the two parties is “urgently” needed to head off the so-called fiscal cliff at the end of the year.

Posted on November 7, 2012 at 11:39amDo you believe the U.S had divine intervention to create it? You either do, or you do not. Why do you believe that? Maybe the fog moving in, or maybe it was the storms at the right time. Maybe it was in the British Loyalist witnessing George Washington praying. Or maybe if people had the mind to see it, maybe it could be something deeper than that. Maybe it could be the movement of the History of the U.S. [Maybe the U.S is the world] Maybe to see the decay throughout the planet since the beginning of the world. Maybe the creation of the U.S follows right along the line of [The creation in Genesis]. Maybe even in the way the U.S spans from Ocean to Ocean, and in-between those oceans is the Firmament of Heaven. It sounds good to me.

They hold positions on issues based on beliefs rather than facts, scientific findings and rational analysis. Those who have extended their right to religious beliefs to anything else they want to believe about science, economics, public policy and even the PRESIDENT. Those who are so self centered and arrogant in their believes that they will pay media types their hard earned money to feed an addiction to their ideology and beliefs. And finally those who believe they have some right to redefine or limit what the constitution means when it states liberty and justice of all …. and more importantly self determination. Time for the children to leave the room and the adults start talking about what they can do to improve the state of their country, their community and their fellow Americans. Somehow, these people are going to get organized, and really start to believe the great evils in their undisciplined lives, are actually caused by Christians…..like homosexuality would magically not be deviant if Christian people would not point out that God, himself, called it an abomination….or that abortion would not be murder if Christians would not maintain conception as the start of human beings. I did not say these people are deluded, God does, and takes responsibility for it.
There was no written law, when Cain slew Abel, but the Lord called it murder, nonetheless Cain ‘spiritually’ knew it was wrong. Ecclesiastes teaches us that there is nothing new under the sun. Human nature and the nature of God have NOT changed. Not one jot.

We are of a similar mind. I’ve already stated on other threads that we need to organize a serious secession movement, now, today. Sort of like a much larger version of the Freestate Project. Take a boat load of what remains of the actively thinking producers out to places like Wyoming, Idaho, Nebraska, the Dakotas, Montana, and then secede. It’s not an easy thing to contemplate, and I think it will take a long time, but I don’t see any other option. It’s kind of difficult to “secede” as an individual these days.

Posted on November 7, 2012 at 12:31pmGood afternoon Gents, and steelhead! I just sat down on the couch myself, to ponder the predicament we found ourselves in upon awaking this morning. And GONZ, I must admit, that it is a deep, deep, vegetational thought! What to do next? Martini’s perhaps!!!!

Posted on November 7, 2012 at 12:51pmhow many people did not vote? 2/3 of the country? Where were the Christians? I bet we find out that 30-40 million Christians did not vote. That is how evil wins.

Why can’t liberals ever tell the truth?

Posted on November 7, 2012 at 10:50amGeorge Soros, now there is a man who embraces the most extreme positions of the left. He probably peed his pants in delight when the narcissistic dog-god was re-elected. He wants this country on its knees for daring to be free from socialist BS.

Posted on November 7, 2012 at 10:49amIn the Jewish mind of George Soros, communism is not extreme. It is the norm of his culture. He does not understand that to freedom loving people, freedom for the individual, communism is extreme. The Jewish Hess, Marx, Alinsky, Piven, Stern, Bloom, Sunstein… are no different. They desire a world kibbutz, where the individual’s freedom is subordinated to the needs of the collective.

Soros made his 1st Billion shorting the British Pound. He’s looking to clean up by killing the dollar. It’s now time we follow his lead.

Posted on November 7, 2012 at 11:02amYou are a idiot. Romney’s budget had us with over 20 trillion dollars in debt by 2016. It was just a bit less than Obama’s budget. Neither men were going to fix our spending problems. You were warned during the primaries, but you and other morons on this site were blinded like I was in 2008.
Take the blinders off and wake up.
You can call us crazy, kooks, loons, dangerous, and unelectable but I would venture to say that we were correct in predicting what was going to happen last night. You and your band of clowns were wrong.

Posted on November 7, 2012 at 10:47amI should have known old Comrade George was up to something when, months ago, he approved the Romney-Ryan ticket. He has such a flair for covering all the bases, don’t you agree?

Posted on November 7, 2012 at 11:03amSoros always set himself up with a win-win-win situation in which all others are lose-lose-lose. Nice to see I am not the only one to notice his machinations in matters; don’t know what we could have done to stop him though.
