MSNBC’s Matthews & Maddow Mock FOX News ‘Talent’: ‘People Who Wear Makeup & Have Cameras Pointed at Them’

MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow lambasted FOX News “talent” on the air tonight during the left-leaning network’s coverage of the 2012 election. Mediaite recaps the on-air dialogue that ensued:

“I don’t mean to cross-advertise here, but I want to note that conservative cable news network Fox News Channel – Fox News Channel called Ohio for Obama, but the on-air talent is refusing to concede that they believe it,” Rachel Maddow said.

“Karl Rove is describing this as being just like 2000 and it is not over,” Maddow added.

“Can you define that word ‘talent’ for the people who are not in this industry,” asked Chris Matthews. “They happen to have positions. It doesn’t say anything about their quality.”

“People who wear makeup and have cameras pointed at them,” Maddow replied.

Watch the video, below:

Maddow also took aim at Republican strategist Karl Rove and his quest to get Fox News to, as the host said, “rescind its call in Ohio in favor of the candidate he has bankrolled to the tune of hundreds of millions of dollars.”

Her comments here refer to Rove’s support of Romney through Crossroads GPS, his super PAC. Additionally, she lambasted Republicans for allegedly not accepting realistic political developments.

“We have seen something sort of different happen on the right…the right questioning what used to be basic agreed upon data,” Maddow proclaimed.

always consider the source (s). who in the Hell even watches or cares what these two morons have to say. always mud-slinging. never any class, polish or integrity. just like all of the liberal mainstream media, which by the way i will NEVER watch again, this entire election coverage was tainted and slanted. everyone knows that, but Romney appeals to the informed human being and remains solid, appropriate and very presidential … someone that really represents AMERICA. God Bless America. Please.

Because, Romney is white would have made him a better leader. I am black and Romney cares no more about you than he does for me, unless you have a few millions in a bank account some where. Time has change ,a new generation of people not seeing differences at all. Yes thank God for our president, a new generation of opened minded people and thank God for America !!!!!

I may be alone on this one…but it would suit me fine if this forum no longer discussed what Rachel Maddow or Chris Matthews say or do. Nothing good comes of it. In fact the conversations or threads that keep being posted by the forum authors and moderators……when it comes to MSNBC or other raving progressive outlets do or say….is really much like discussing the end result of a successful dosage of Ex-Lax or any other stool softener……must we discuss the result roiling around in the toilet? The result…the fecal material…..is of no more import than Maddow or Matthews….flush it all down…and clean yourself up…and pull up your drawers…and go have a great day the rest of the day.

Let us not lament. This may have won this one, but I say we work on a third party starting today. Anyone know the number of votes Gary Johnson received? I am done with the two party system. If war is what progressives want, it is war they shall get.

The ones that should be mocked are the trotskyites on the left that lie with breathless abandon… its all about lying big repeatedly… white women are magically cherokee indians and such.

Riddle me this, for months the left told the world Romney was 19% behind with women and 35% behind with hispanics and 98% behind with blacks… their fabled “angry white men only constitue 49% of this 72% white nation (that’s less than 36% of the electorate are white men, angry or not, for you public schooled lefties)… HOW DID ROMNEY GET 48% OF THE VOTE WITH ONLY 18% OF THE ELECTORATE??? (assuming half of white men are democrats). idiots.

Why does anyone care about what Peter Pan thinks?? The fight goes on, that’s all. The silver lining in this cloud is Obama will definitely be remembered as a failure. He could have escaped politics w/ high ratings, but now he inherits his own “previous Administration” (i.e.- can’t EVER blame Bush anymore), the coming scandals of Benghazi, etc., and skyrocketing prices on everything (esp. food, fuel, and energy). Unemployment will be chronically high for the foreseeable future. The longer Obama is around, the more he necessarily has to expose his “real”, incompetent self……

With a State too close to call, networks didn’t call for one or the other, until all votes were counted, that is until the Gore age of throwing a tantrum and calling your lawyers. Then, their Messiah showed up and could do no wrong. Ignore all election rules, intimidate voters, let poll judges wear political attire, let judges throw out the other party’s monitors, in several, several districts, while you stuff the boxes as fast as you can until a judge decides they can come back in, ignore the NAACP taking over polling places during early voting, let Democraps vote for the mentally challenged, etc.
if it was a race that was not too close to call, then tactics like that cannot work. That’s why they were hoping for a close race.
What REALLY gets me is that Romney caves in. Who put him up to that? We really need candidates, campaign directors, and RNC presidents, with spines.

ROTH, Maddow actually argues against one of the Left’s most cherished memes: PAC money “stealing” elections. If Rove’s “hundreds of millions of dollars” didn’t “buy” the election then how can they argue for overturning Citizens United? That’s right, partisan hacks don’t care about reality.
