In a nail-biting race to the finish, prominent Florida Congressman and rockstar of the GOP Allen West appears to have lost his re-election bid. NBC called the race for Democratic freshman Patrick Murphy, rendering a harsh blow to the Tea Party.
After 97 percent of votes were counted, Murphy claimed victory in Florida’s 18th District by less than a mere 1,000 votes. The relatively unknown Democrat, who owns a construction company, campaigned on being the polar opposite or the Tea Party favorite.
According to the Palm Beach Post, at $23 million collectively, theirs was one of the most expensive House races in the country.

He fired his service revolver near the head of an Iraqi captive to scare him into providing intel. It worked and the intel saved lives. That’s a far cry from what would have happened to any of of us if we had been captured. (I saw some of the Republican guard interrogation rooms…not pretty.)
Odierno wrote a letter of reprimand and West retired. I’ll work with LTC (Ret.) West any day.

We are in the last stages of the Roman Empire right now. And now, for the second term in a row, we have a man who HATES THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA (as it was founded, and existed for more than two centuries) and is in the process, now irreversible I suspect, of “fundamentally transforming” it.
We’ve lost so many of our freedoms. Yes, we lost some under GWB, but Obama, despite lip service to the contrary, has accelerated every single bit of the destruction of personal freedoms.
We’ve got the Department of Homeland Security, and its most visible POLICE element, the TSA, which has unlimited power over us. The TSA isn’t restricted to airports and so forth anymore. TSA agents now “secure” athletic venues, and even High School PROMS!
Yes, they’re what Obama said he intended to create… an “Internal police force as large and well equipped as the military, for domestic use.” They’re part of the enforcement wing of the Department of Homeland Security…
Wehave a “Justice Department” which only enforces the laws it WANTS to enforce… meaning that they’re not enforcing the laws, they’re DECIDING the laws.

The financial markets around the world reacted poorly to an Obama win. Reality bites. these markets around the world are not old white men. Not in India & not in Asia. Maybe they know that the bankrupt Democrat class warfare & freebie message will not work long term.
