Posted on November 7, 2012 at 2:33pmWhen gay folks stayed in the closet, many did not know they had gays among their friends, family, loved ones. And,the stigma was strong.
Now,as gays have had h courage to come out,and folks became aware, and accepted these folks were family, friends, loved ones ,they cannot, will not, throw them under the bus. Many who would vote for the principles of Constitutionsal Conservatism turn away. They consider the GOP anti-gay.The GOP may need to reconsider the platform about gay marriage, etc.
If your Church does not accept it,OK,but atheists can legally marry

Posted on November 7, 2012 at 3:02pmThe GOP is fighting against a vitriolic assault on religion. Homosexuals insist on telling churches how they should function and how to interpenetrate their bibles. That has little to do with tolerance and love for gays and very much to do with intolerance from the left of religion.

Posted on November 7, 2012 at 2:15pmThe GOP has, hopefully for a healthy American system of government, learned from this election that the fringe extremism of the tea-party platform was soundly rejected by most Americans. The GOP right now is too white, too male-dominated, and just too angry as opposed to being constructive.
In my months on The Blaze during the primaries and election campaign, I honestly can’t recall any people who were truly excited about Romney. Sadly, the GOP really is the negative “party of no.” That needs to change.

Posted on November 7, 2012 at 3:07pmSaying NO is not isolated to the GOP…if you recall, Harry Reid swore he would never work with a Romney President. Try as you might to redefine the GOP as a road block, this is a systemic problem that infects ALL of congress.

Most are voting Obama because it is the “cool” thing to do…they are mostly the takers who depend on government and haven’t yet felt the sting of an overbearing government. They are dumbed down robots! It will have to get VERY BAD before they wake up and when they finally do–it will be too late! Posted on November 7, 2012 at 2:17pmWell, that’s not accurate. The majority of red states take the most from the federal government in the form of entitlements. The blue states tend to be better educated, have higher incomes, and are more productive.

Thank you for an inspirational reminder. You are SO RIGHT!
“Great and marvelous are your deeds,
Lord God Almighty.
Just and true are your ways,
King of the nations.
Who will not fear you, Lord,
and bring glory to your name?
For you alone are holy.
All nations will come
and worship before you,
for your righteous acts have been revealed.”

Posted on November 7, 2012 at 4:31pmThey are NEVER going to wake up……get that through your head….NEVER. This is exactly what they want. The country is gone and soon we’ll see a massive assault on the House and the election of 2014 (if we last that long) will end in another slaughter of the Republican’s. The question’s are; what to do? Where to go? Who will lead us? ……and the answers aren’t very incouraging. Ever consider immigrating to another country and pray that our progenney will succeed and flourish under a different flag.

Posted on November 7, 2012 at 2:10pmThere are enough Hank Reardens in the USA to keep the beast fed for a long time, as it sucks their blood slowly dry. They believe they can overcome the monster with sheer effort and force of their ingenuity. They believe that the vampires in the bureaucratic system will see the error of their ways and allow them to produce and create wealth. This delusion, to expect blood sucking monsters to be logical, is as natural to the human condition as is the delusion that someone somewhere will do something to provide for the monsters. Then again, maybe only one side is delusional.

imho pushing a social conservative agenda is a losing proposition.
championing a conservative fiscal agenda is where you will get independent support.
that IS what most people here pushed for, but their personal morals and social positions shine through.
and claiming social conservatism died is a gross overstatement.
it would be more correct that the orgy of gluttony that is the ’47%’ bellied up to the table again instead of recognizing that their host is ready to go to bed, if not to the ER after such a huge meal.
it is NOT social conservatism to expect people to want to work for what they get, or to at least accept that if they are not working, the people who are working have and should have– deserve– more than those who are getting hand outs.
it turns out young women mindlessly bought into the ‘war against women’ crap that was never a real issue, and stopped looking at ‘it’s the economy, stupid’ because their home economics are stable… not good, but stable. and because jetting around looking serious with Chris Christie is seen as a positive ‘action’ when painted as such by the MSM… FEMA and BHO have fared no better than FEMA and GW after Katrina, but there were not articles describing lord of the flies in Yankee stadium.
until education, law, and media are at least balanced, rather than left bastions, the uneducated sheeple will easily be swayed by the handout of a few oats, even if the hand is the

If you move to the left, a portion of your party will revolt and do their own thing. If you move towards the right, you will gain votes through common sense ideas – but you will have to have a real philosophical transformation and be willing un-think the way things have worked in the past….

Posted on November 7, 2012 at 1:27pmConservatives are typically devoid of the killer instinct, the Saul Alinsky viciousness, brutality, extreme guile and blood-thirst that radicals possess.
Conservatives would do well, maybe not to actually TAKE a page from the radical playbook, but at least attain an understanding of it.
Beside being extremely organized into a massive global collective, when radicals “lose,” they simply double down. Every single time, without fail, like robots.
You can smack ‘em down a hundred times, and a hundred times they will get up and then double down even harder. When that doesn’t work, they lie, cheat and steal.
(Honestly, it’s exhausting and I often wish they would simultaneously, collectively fall in a giant, bottomless hole, once and for all.)
Also, for the timid or squeamish, I’m just about positive “they” don’t have “feelings” to hurt, so don’t buy that Victim Card when it’s played.
Radicals have collectively and calculatingly infiltrated every single level of society, government and unions. They have been at it for decades, have a serious head-start on conservatives and, again, it would behoove conservatives to take a page.
As shocking and disturbing it is to watch the reveal of what this government intends for its people, giving up just isn’t an option. It can’t be.
Life always matters, liberty always matters, and they and the pursuit of happiness are still God-given rights.
Maybe our reason for being here now is s

It’s certainly not constitutional conservatism or fiscal conservatism. It’s social conservatism which is a progressive movement. Social conservatism died last night.

He was going to take a tougher stance on social issues, bomb Iran and open the Keystone Pipeline. Only one of them is a good idea. That is if it were privatized and some company wasn’t getting special privilege to the property and government contracts.

Posted on November 7, 2012 at 3:35pmAmerica is moving towards socialism and the elimination of the middle class. You have a choice, get rich or default to being poor. Get out of debt, save your money, invest wisely. Brace for massive unemployment as small business either shrinks to under 50 employees to escape mandates, or folds all together under the weight of regulation. Large corporations will flourish as they have the means to wade through regulation and their competition will be eliminated as an unintended consequence of higher taxation and obama care. Health insurance companies will boom, at least the larger ones and health providers will become scarce as will your ability to get health care. So invest in corporations and get in shape so you don’t have to see the doctor…you may not find one in your area.
