  Andrew Wilkow is a master of Reason. On his radio show, I have heard him enlighten many a college student, in real time. It’s not uncommon to hear, “Oh wow,I never thought of it like that”.

  As he always says…A true “intellectual” can make the complicated sound simple.

  A “pseudo-intellectual” goes out of his way to make the simple sound more complex.

  I always hoped he would find a spot on Glenn’s team. I’m glad Tanya was listening.

  Y’know, there are times when I almost feel guilty being on VA disability. Then I figure **** That….I went to war, except my battleground was green and in Southeast Asia instead of sand brown, I got screwed up so the gov’t can pay up. I voted for Romney….Dear Leader scares me, being as how he’s a maoist from Chicago! How does that work?

When that is the Gov’t then the tax payers foot the bill, so instead of directly paying for services rendered, if needed, many will end up paying for services they have not and may never use.   After last night Democratic victory, the only thing I am really sure about is America has not hit rock bottom yet. Rock bottom is the point where a person or group of people decide that the path they are traveling is unsustainable and they need to pick a smarter, more competent path to follow. Many Americans would consider the piling debt, the world’s view of us dramatically declining, stagnant unemployment, record amounts of government dependence and the worst ideological divide of our lifetime as rock bottom, at least by America’s standards. Unfortunately last night shows many of Americans think those things are “the right direction for America.”

    It will not be until the store shelves are empty, they can’t afford the Viagra to go along with the free contraception, gasoline has become so expensive that is costs the same as your mortgage to drive to work… will it perhaps dawn on them that something is wrong. Then the opressed masses will take to the streets demanding equal treatment under Obamacare, insisting that Viagra for free is a right.

    The reason why republicans lost is because the indoctrination of the modern day liberal parent, university system, public schools, and the MSM.     It’s pretty typical for health care to be rationed in Ireland too.
    The hospitals are filthy. My son has a heart condition. They saved him with an open heart surgery at 2 weeks old. He would have died in Ireland. It’s also common for people to be put into induced comas when the Ugandan doctors can’t figure out what else to do. Some live and some die, but the union nurses get their breaks on time.

    Years ago I was also in Russia. At a street market, I purchased two drawings from a doctor who’s wife made them to try to supplement his income.

    These bozos will get the Health care they deserve.

The Tea Party drove the moderate Republicans out of the party, their policies and views have alienated the large percentage of the hispanic vote that W. won. The nation may be fiscally conservative, but it is also socially liberal. The gay marriage issue is now a wedge issue that favors the Dems.

  Well America, now we will reap what we have sown. Some of us will be fine because we have planned for this, knowing this day would come. We freed ourselves of debt, whittled down our bills and now we will weather the storm.
  Those of you who embrace the coming chaos are in for a rude awakening, for things will not be as you hoped. Those of us, who rely on ourselves and our (real) friends, will prevail and those that rely on uncle sugar will not. A time will come when you will realize the mistakes you have made, hopefully in time to come to your senses, but be that as it may, there is irreparable damage already. I hope you can console yourselves when you are laid off as your employer goes out of business, because your boss can’t afford your health care. I hope you can live with yourselves when your elderly parent is refused a life preserving medical procedure. I hope you can take heart in the knowledge that if grandma is in too much pain, she can be euthanized…like a dog, and the government approval panel will alleviate you of any guilt.     Social Security isn’t free, you pay into the system for your entire working life (key word: Working), unless you are exempt and don’t pay in, in which case you can’t draw either. Medicare is deducted from your paycheck…look at you check stub, that is if you get one. You don’t get a deduction for owning a house, you get a deduction on the interest you pay on your mortgage. Once the house is paid off, no deduction. Then there are the taxes you pay to actually work. Sales tax, state and federal income tax, B&O taxes, workman’s comp insurance, licensing fees (a tax), excise taxes, fuel tax, tolls and bridge taxes…you see, noting is free for the working man…nothing. Now if you decide to sit on you’re a** in government housing and watch Oprah, or Springer or MSNBC…then you get the free stuff. Yes, Free Stuff. As in no obligation to provide a service in exchange for the stuff, or any recompense to the provider of the free stuff, i.e. the guy who pays all of the aforementioned taxes, fees etc. Yes I am my brother’s keeper, but there is be a limit to my charity. Once I can’t feed my family, all bets are off.

    The military HAS to be cut.
    It never asked for ANOTHER 2 trillion dollars.
    Not even President and Mittens was already announcing his plans
    to enrich his MIC contractors like Cheney.
    I guess ya didn’t get it – and Liz Cheney as an adviser. Good grief.
