We can only hope they’re imploding.. The GOP is too similar to the Democratic party. Both far left. American conservatives need to start electing RADICALS. Anarcho Capitalism baby – radicals for freedom. No ‘reaching over party lines’, no concessions, no middle ground. It’s time to reject government period. What would the founders do? Tax payers need to unite; cut our omnipotent government off. End the entitlement state – we own the purse strings.

Educate yourselves! Read any material you can concerning the Austrian School of Economics. Murray Rothbard, Friedrich Hayek, Ludwig Von Mises!

Liberty or Death! Unite or Die. It’s time to get serious. Free your mind, educate yourselves regarding free market economics. Our founders were hard core radicals, we should be too.

My answer to this question is: because Mitt Romney lost by 3million votes the Party is over? As a former Dem, I started really doing my homework on the election this year and found myself appalled at both the Dem Party and Obama. I can’t even stand to hear his voice or see his face. As a basically conservative lesbian, who loves this country and wants to see it free, is that really where I fit – a socialist/communist party? No. Is the Republican Party where I fit? Most people think I’m nuts because I switched but I don’t care. What appeals to me about conservatism are these values: limited government, preservation of the constitution, work ethic, Christian beliefs, the belief that anyone can rise from nothing to become something – whatever level of success one wishes to achieve, pro-life. What I saw in Mitt Romney was a wonderful, wonderful candidate: a truly good man, as opposed to the hypocrit Obama who professes Christianity and then calls his opponent a bullshi**er and puts out an ad equating voting to losing one’s virginity. I have no fear of being an outcast as a Republican – or losing my rights as a lesbian or a woman. If someone like me is acceptable as Republican, then if the RNC has any money left, it should get some whiz to start doing image ads NOW professing the party’s values and maybe regional and local working groups to look at things like voter fraud, as well as types of outreach.

The Republican and Democrat Party are both doomed as soon as the people feel the pain that Obama is going to rain down on them.
Just like Obama did to the people in the North East using HAARP to create and guide the Superstorm Sandy to New York, NY.

I don’t get why all the talking heads are saying we need to “abandon social conservatism” and “expand the tent.” THAT’S WHAT THE ENTIRE PRIMARY WAS ABOUT! We tried to stick to economics and fiscal conservatism and we got dragged into the social issue fight by the media, to the point where they made up the issues to goad us into it. Worse, because the base got pushed to the sidelines, they didn’t show up to vote. The base got passed over in the primaries to go straight for the independents, so the base passed on Romney.

Right or wrong, the Tea Party conservatives have had enough of the milquetoast Republicans. And if 3 million people were willing to take another term of Obama over accepting another candidate who they don’t see as being conservative, then the Republicans are going to need to change tactics, or go the way of the whig party.

Where are the young conservatives? Where are the minority conservatives? Where is the black conservative platform? This is the Republicans only problem. They come across as only middle aged white people due to the lack of diverse media outlets. FoxNews features many black conservatives but never by themselves, it is always with a middle aged white host. This needs to change. As a white person I would like to embrace Hispanics and Blacks in the party. Give them a platform to reach out to others that share the same conservative views. It is insane that we are alienating a block of conservatives that are moving here(all be it illegally) but regardless they are here and they are conservatives. We need them. They need us. Lets extend our hands.

He also realizes that it is a different world now and foreign policy is a real concern. While Paul has the right idea with domestic issues he is a bit naive with regards to foreign threats. This is not the GOP’s problem. Their problem is the shrinking base due to the lack of extended hands to minorities. I am not saying they need to pander like the Democrats but the majority of Hispanics are conservative and should be embraced by the GOP. The longer they refuse to realize the changing demographic the longer they will lose to these thugs on the left. We cannot expect them to abandon the Democrats on their own.

Tea Party Constitutional Conservatives and Religious Principled voters need a different party than the RNC. The same people are involved in both RNC and DNC campaigns they do not care who wins. The Trilateral Commission gave us Carter, GH Bush, Clinton, Cheney, and 0. All want World Government run by the UN. Time to find candidates for the Constitution Party or Start a new party. As far as the RNC – stick a fork in them. They are done and made their bed at the convention when they passed new rules and shut down the Libertarians that would have attracted many youths. Dirty tricks just like all Progressive/Socialists do to remain in power. Maybe a new “We the People” Party. I went with RNC during 2010 because I thought they would go more conservative but

This is a fact that Mitt was the fair haired boy from the heart of the left wing just a little right of the center, he was picked prior to anyone voting, and was cut from the same cloth of Bush, you do remember the No new taxes don”t you the RNC made this without any real input from WE the People.
It will not change until the day someone will stand up and say no.

The republican party is not imploding – it has been on a gradual decline for over a decade. The leadup to Iraq was orchestrated by evil men within the party….Iraq was a nightmare….Then came the welfare – no child left behind, medicare part D, spending increases….Then came the corruption and lobbist stuff…Then came RINO McCain….Then came RINO Romney

Those who think the republican party are imploding are just now waking up to the facts and over-reacting. The truth is that Romney didn’t lose to Obama by that much – but it is going to get worse every election unless they adopt the liberty platform and inspire a new generation of voters.

It’ll only implode if the knee-jerk idiots out there buy into the nonsense that we need to “morph” our beliefs to be more in tune with the “mainstream”.

It never fails – every single time Republicans get their azzes handed to ‘em, the elitists of the group start to Monday-Morning-Quarterback and tell us all why we need to listen to their nonsense.

Look, the demographics are wildly different than 1980. All we can do is tow the line and hope certain segments “get wiser” with age and understand what being an American is really about. If not, the country turns third-world, which it has already begun to do – meaning you cannot fight change and expect people to believe you’re sane.

Do what you can do and let the chips fall where they may.

This is what the MSM want us to believe. So we adopt an idealology that mirrors the democrat party. despite the grumblings about the candidate, half the country still voted Republican. notice they all say that unless the Republican party drops their Christian beliefs, the party is done. War on religion, while they promote sodomy.

yeah, only half of the republicans showed up to vote. the other half failed in their duty. Whites account for 75% of the electorate and 39% of those voted democrat. Blacks and latinos are not a big enough republican demographic. Republicans would be better off courting the latinos as they are a superior percentage of the population than the blacks. Even the future projections show latinos overtaking whites in population and blacks remain pretty much where they are percentage wise.

The sooner it happens, the sooner a good number of people will wake up – at least those that should have known better in the first place.

Let’s face it – we were going over the cliff no matter who was POTUS. Obama will just do it much more quickly. However, one of the unfortunate aspects is good, productive people are going to be destroyed along way, and their children and grandchildren are going to be supporting a helluva lotta bottom-feeding losers.

RNC did not vote this time where ever tea party vote won in 2010, that includes WI state, Marco Rubio/Allen West county all were Romney lost the votes by 200K. This is a sign where RNC did not find Bush name in the ballot. The GOP will have high tunrout for Jeb Bush in 2016…. thats how they have been since Reagan 1980 Presidency…… Even if the conservatives succeed, the country is destroyed …. good luck….

I followed and researched the polls, read the comments on other sites….relentlessly. On Monday night, I was on a plane and missed most of the election coverage. What I did catch, showed Romney ahead prior to boarding the plane. I caught Tuesday morning, the news. The pit in my stomach was there all day long. Time to be suttle for awhile, you’ll note, I am the number one poster on this site. Time for a break!
