‘Wilkow!:’ House GOP Moving to Repeal ObamaCare Tax on States Without Health Insurance Exchanges

House Republicans have taken on a new strategy in their fight to derail ObamaCare, using an expedited legislative procedure to upend targeted parts of the law. Roll Call reports that Republican Reps. Darrell Issa and Scott DesJarlais will back a resolution to nullify the upcoming IRS rule authorizing the distribution of subsidies through tax credits in every state as an incentive to get most Americans to buy insurance. Michael Cannon of the Cato Institute writes that the rule “unlawfully taxes employers and individuals” in the over 30 states that have not yet created their own health insurance exchanges as part of the 2010 law.

Republican leaders are preparing to launch the effort to repeal he rule during the post-election session that begins Nov. 13. Cannon joined “Wilkow!” Thursday to discuss the IRS rule in question, and Republicans’ plan to repeal it as a path to derail ObamaCare:

Think ahead people.! American’s are confronted by absolute disaster. Over the years the idea of “Social Security” has been legitimized and we’ve all bought into it. “When’ they collapse the dollar “Social Security” ends!!!! That’s why they insist SS is safe and solvent. That’s why reform has never been seriously pursued.
This takeover has been ongoing for a very long time, and the ‘Theater” surrounding and protecting the secret of it’s clandestine implementation has been simply brilliant. I just lived my life as a loyal Democrat and NEVER suspected anything. The ‘brilliance’ lay in appealing to the American ‘Masses’ sense of what’s ‘Reasonable’ and ‘Just’! That ‘sense’ was, in part, shaped by the manipulation of ‘Media’ and the gradual destruction of ‘Education’!
Now all they have to do is cut the money and suddenly ‘Everyone’s’ life is at risk; particularly those willfully or negligently dependent on Government largess. Significant numbers of people dependent on medication for their well-being and life will die, as well as the aged, the unprepared, and the young.
Wow… “What did we do to deserve this?”, you might ask!
We have murdered near 60 million babies; “Contracepted” away hundreds of millions more… for ‘woman’s right’s’ and the ‘unrestrained’ pursuit of our pleasure… while experiencing ‘No’ sense of guilt or remorse!
I can’t help but think ‘Islam’ will be our judge….

WOW….. Not surprised, the communist party has been hard at work since before FDR’s time. But, if this is true, why the slow decades long transition that has been going on since that time. I mean, the actions that have been taken since that time, if you read the Cloward-Piven strategy, we are almost there, I mean why all the machinations that the Communists have had in play? (I honestly don’t know, can’t agree with or refute your post, does anyone have any additional information along these lines?) Regardless, thanks for the information, gives me somewhere else to dig!!

Exactly right. I am responsible for my own health care costs and will NOT buy health insurance. I see no lawful reason why I should be taxed or penalized (take your pick) for paying my own bills. When the tax kicks in I’ll stop filing tax returns. They can send me to jail where I’ll have three hots and a cot plus free medical care. Screw ‘em!

I completly agree, I spent several years in the USMC, and I can’t believe that my service (and millions of others) has come to this. The moral degredation of the populace is completly appalling. We defiently need to take back our country, because if they get their way, there is no where else to go. We are completly divided, I have never had that type of attitude, but the last 4+ years have given me a “with us, or against us” mind set.

Are there enough Governor’s now to possibly have a Constitution Convention? Perhaps its time to stop the Fed cold by passing an Amendment that States don’t send their taxes to the Fed, that the Fed should have to request funding from States and then the States will generously give some money to the Fed, within a budget instead of the other way around where the States give the Fed all their money and then the Fed generously spreads a few crumbs back to the States, minus the Fed’s overhead… so how about putting the squeeze on the Fed and reduce it back down to size.

The voting parasites now outnumber the voting hosts.

If we all refuse to participate in Obamacare they cannot fine/jail us all.

I am now using a cash only doctor. Soon we will be back to house calls.

An underground economy is already flourishing. By direct trade with one another whenever possible, we can escape the slavery of the parasites and programs like Obamacare.

I have done work for everything from shampoo to frozen meats on occasion.

I am also a member of trade exchanges.

No cash = no taxes = no parasites = an end to my slavery.

Anything that will help undo Obamacare will be wonderful! The parts of it that have already been instituted in RX are terrible. Dr gave me a presciption for sinus/allergies that before would have $30. copay and because the insurance company had changed what part they paid on it, it would have been $216 copay. People just don’t know how badly they are going to be hit all the way down the line.
