With Election Over, MSNBC Host Admits He Wants to See Mitt Romney in the White House: ‘Definitely a Talented Guy’
On MSNBC’s “The Cycle” on Thursday, co-host Touré said it could be in President Barack Obama’s best interest to extend an “olive branch” to Republicans by offering his former rival Mitt Romney a business-related cabinet position. Now that the election is over, Touré admits Romney is a “talented guy.” Before, he was an evil elitist businessman who wanted to ship jobs overseas and “harvest” U.S. companies for profit — all at the expense of the middle class.
“I do want to see Mitt Romney in the White House. I want to see Mitt Romney as Secretary of Commerce or, we’ve talked about this new, sort of, Secretary of Business role,” Touré said. “Definitely a talented guy.”
“Look, 57 million people voted against Barack Obama. A lot of them would feel an olive branch from picking Mitt Romney, who is a talented guy, a business guy,” he added.
TheBlazeTV’s S.E. Cupp immediately recognized the irony and quipped, “I love how much the Left loves Mitt Romney now that he lost.”
“I didn’t say I loved him,” Touré replied.

Posted on November 8, 2012 at 8:53pmI got news for you. Now that the libs have Obama for 4 more years they seem almost afraid of what he will do next. This man has not clue how to be president. They want assistance from Republicans now because they are the only ones with any viable solutions. It doesnt matter anyway. It is too late for our country. Not too care about it but we are not coming back from 8 years of this spiraling debt, overwhelming number of government dependents and no job.

Posted on November 9, 2012 at 9:54am@LadyGOP If even half of what you say is true why didn’t Romney state and present his stances and policies honestly. And why did he spend the majority of his time and money promoting lies about the PRESIDENT…. Welfare to Work – lie, Medicare benefit cuts – lie, Jeep jobs to China – lie. I feel sorry for the Belief Entitled who view everything as black or white, right or wrong…. like most constructs beliefs exist on a continuum. This is why most independents are rational thinking individuals. For example, I am pro reproductive rights, not pro abortion. Based on scientific evidence and technology Roe v. Wade should be modified to reduce the length of the first trimester, right to choose period. And partial birth abortions should be banned outright as a criminal act. But it is blatantly against the fundamental freedoms, liberty and self determination that our founding fathers fought to protect to have the government remove a woman’s right to reproductive freedom and choice. And if Romney is something more than merely a corporate raider than yes his expertise may be of some use to the country. Although the money made should stay in this country. As for S E Cupp, it must be tough for her to pretend she is relevant and hide she is an Ann Coulter and Sarah Palin wanna be.

The left lambasted, vilified, and straight out lied about Romney, Toure one of the more aggressive parties, but now that he’s lost the presidency, he’d like to see him in a cabinet position? Posted on November 9, 2012 at 11:10amThey are looking for another out. Sure, bring in the financial mechanic to fix everything and have Obama take the credit…..otherwise, they will have someone else to blame if things go south.
It’s how the White House handled Bengazi, and its how the White House handled the Bin Laden raid (remember the letter from the white house that approval for the raid that absolved Obama of blame if things went wrong)
Go pound sand Toure’. Obama OWNS the performance of this country for the next 4 years.

Soon there will be 8 year old Children asking their parents ” Mom, who is this Bush that the president is always blaming” I don’t remember any other presidents”

Posted on November 8, 2012 at 7:35pmI have to agree. Also, if Romney were to accept such a position and things were to turn around for the better, who would get the credit? Obama. That would Guarantee another Liberal elected in 2016. However, if they are somehow able to get the economy going in the right direction without the Conservatives, that would be a good thing for the country. But we definitely need a Conservative put back in that White House with Majorities in both the house and senate to “undue” some of the liberal bullcrap.

The Republicans in the Democrat controlled Senate will continue to be blamed as obstructionists. The “Pravada” media will help hide or shift blame from Democrats to someone or something else just as they have been doing the past 20+ years.
