Beck Explains All Those ‘Agenda 21′ Ads You’re Seeing on TheBlaze TV — Sort Of
Are you one of the several people that have sent me, Editor-in-Chief Scott Baker, and even Glenn Beck angry emails demanding an explanation regarding why TheBlaze TV is running ads supporting the United Nations’ controversial sustainability program called Agenda 21? Well today you got that explanation. Kind of.
“There’s a growing controversy here at TheBlaze that I want to talk to you about, ” Beck said on his Monday radio program before reading several angry emails demanding he look into Agenda 21 and threatening to drop the network. You can view three of the ads causing quite the stir, below:
Always one to create intrigue and have fun with his audience, though, Beck’s co-host, Pat, toyed with listeners by sarcastically agreeing with the ads.
“I’ve got four pages– these are just the easy complaints. We have people who are cancelling,” Beck said. Then he tried to reassure his listeners by using some sarcasm.
“Let’s use logic,” Beck explained. “Agenda 21, a plan for sustainable development, something that Glenn Beck got a lot of heat on for bringing it up on Fox News, something that the 9/12 project in California is being credited for reversing a lot of Agenda 21. And then ads that you haven’t seen any place else, and really spooky ads that you haven’t seen any place else. Why would they be running on my network?”
He continued:
Now, I’d like to invite you, before someone would cancel their subscription, think of the world we live in now. Think of the world we live in. You’ve known me for how long? You trust me enough to subscribe to my network and yet you would get online to send me an electronic message saying how angry you are at me for taking the money to further the UN agenda. That’s amazing. What a dirt bag sellout I am… or… one of these things just doesn’t belong.
So instead of typing an e‑mail, I might go to Google, which I also have recommended not to use, and I might Google “Agenda 21 Glenn Beck.” Hmmm.
“We are spending a lot of money on the malformed, though,” Beck’s other co-host and producer, Stu, interrupted jokingly. “We should… should talk about that.”
“You make a good case,” Beck quipped. He later added that the network has subscription “openings” for those who have left over the ads and even joked that “I’ve sold my soul to Agenda 21.” He also offered some other “evidence” as to why people shouldn’t be up in arms, but we’ll leave that for the clip.
So what’s the reason behind the ads? Well, Beck didn’t go into detail, but suffice it to say you should stay tuned to TheBlaze for the full reason soon.
In the meantime, you can listen to the kinda, sorta explanation below:
Need to catch up on what, exactly, Agenda 21 is? Read TheBlaze’s extensive reporting on it here and here.
In CONTROL, Glenn Beck presents a passionate, fact-based case for guns that reveals why gun control isn’t really about controlling guns at all; it’s about controlling us. Posted on November 12, 2012 at 5:52pmI don’t think GB is a Libertarian like he says. Or he’s become more involved with his faith and has different priorities. I wouldn’t say he sold his soul to Agenda 21 though. TBH, he is the one that I first heard about it from. Alex Jones is more involved in reporting on the internationalists, but he’s quick to pull the trigger and you never know what’s true.
That being said, I don’t know why he gave Romney a pass on attending Bilderberg or Ryan a pass for writing articles for the CFR.

Obviously you didn’t even check the link. It is in fact the first link when you google exactly what Beck said to google. If it’s a left leaning site, which I would I believeto be odd, but really I have no idea as I’d never seen it before. But if you had clicked it you would realize it was someone a few months ago posting the cover of Glenn’s new “faction” book, dare I say the potential followup to The Overton Window.
To call me a leftist is quite remarkable considering that I believe myself to be to the right of Beck. That said, Beck is the ONLY honest personality in the media, and the only one I trust. I know where he stands and he doesn’t hide it. I only wish he would focus more on getting people involved in their local politics, as our founders stated, the vast power of governance should be nearest the people.
When you put the kind of passion he and his audience has in the federal political system you will undoubtedly expect the federal system to fix all the issues. That means the federal government will always be getting more and more power, to the point where they could one day authorize the power of third party governing system that they abide by, et al the UN Agenda 21. I have no doubt that both the Republican and Democrat party will gladly take us their as the Progressives run both of those parties; ESPECIALLY at the federal level.
Now back to your hole troll.

Still, I am surprised that Glen, Pat, and Stu appear to be subtly mocking the people who wrote him regarding their concerns. In a sense they are doing exactly what Glen has so often preached, which is to “Question with Boldness”. I believe it would have been more beneficial if Glen’s response to their concerns was a little less cryptic.

Posted on November 12, 2012 at 5:29pmGosh…I’m just flummoxed! Why would Glenn Beck run provocative ads for his new book?
Perhaps he’s just weeding out the DEAD WOOD!

Posted on November 12, 2012 at 5:24pmGlenn overestimated the intelligence of his viewers once again. He should read the comments on this site more often. If he did he would realize how many of his fans are capable of mistaking hoax and satire for news and opinion.

Posted on November 12, 2012 at 5:39pmyou must be one of the select few, ‘hemp’! congratulations on being such a smarty pants.
recognizing sarcasm does not indicate intelligence. at least the beck followers can instinctively recognize the vileness of the message, which is the intent. many of the beck haters who view the ‘ads’ probably thought the spots were nice, and if polled would agree in an overwhelming majority with the content.
now, there is your true test of intelligence!

Posted on November 12, 2012 at 5:23pmClever Glenn, very clever.
By exposing people to the Agenda 21, and the Complete Lives mess of the Eugenic’s madmen, people get to see the evil for what it really is, in there own words and any who doubt can look it up on the internet and learn first hand the evil there before their very eyes.
Well done.

Posted on November 12, 2012 at 5:40pmGenius Glenn. It was very subtle and to those who have not already had their eyes opened it will make them curious. We on the other hand, thought we were duped because we already knew what Agenda 21 was or thought it was. You briefly had us. We have to find a better way to educate those that are not, how do we open their eyes to the truth? Brilliant!

Posted on November 13, 2012 at 12:17amYes, Snowleopard. If you Bing “Agenda 21,” you’ll see 178,000,000 hits so far. I suggest that everyone begin with simply reading the forty mandates of UN Agenda 21 at: http://habitat.igc.org/agenda21/

Posted on November 13, 2012 at 5:19pmVery well done. All these silly people are suppose to know what Glenn is about and would think for a moment that he would agree with Agenda 21? He has been voicing his opinion for years against it.
These ads were created to make people think, which they didn’t do.
If you had read The Overton Window you would be more enlightened even before reading his new book, which he talked about a couple moths ago. Good grief people, engage you brains.

Posted on November 12, 2012 at 5:20pmClever Glenn, very clever: draw attention to the worst aspects of Agenda 21 and when people search for the ‘Agenda 21″ online they become aware of the magnitude of the evil behind that UN Agenda.
Information is power and in gaining the information to the viewers, they can look up Agenda 21 in all aspects and learn the truth first hand. We learn the truth of the darkness and madness we fight against not just on the national level, but local and even global.
Well done Glenn.

Posted on November 12, 2012 at 5:13pmI’ve seen other ads on the blaze (Obama campaign ads) and I just assumed they were part of the advertising package that came across the site. NOT advertisements handpicked by Beck and/or TheBlaze staff to appear alongside their product. Being rational goes a long way, right?
That said, I REALLY thought it was low-class of Beck to insult his listeners and (worse yet) his subscribers because they are understandably irritated about these ads. For a guy who preaches taking the high road, Glenn really blew it today.
Hopefully there is better, less juvenile, dialogue regarding the Agenda 21 ads and any other advertisement that doesn’t “jive” with TheBlaze’s message in the very near future.

Posted on November 12, 2012 at 5:12pmAgenda 21 is NOT about sustainable development. Agenda 21 is part of the Rio+20 eco-fascist movement. It has nothing scientific or agricultural behind it. It is purely political.
WAWT covered it nicely: http://wattsupwiththat.com/2012/02/26/rio20-meets-agenda-21/

If Glenn and TheBlaze manage to drain some money from them with the ads, then I’m all for it.
And yeah, knowing Glenn he’s going to come out swinging over this one. Should be interesting.
