Beck Revisits His Prediction that Petraeus Would Take Fall for Libya: ‘This Is What the Mob Does, Gang’

On Monday morning, Glenn Beck tackled a subject that has been at the forefront of national media coverage over the past 72 hours: Gen. David Petraeus’s affair with his biographer Paula Broadwell. As TheBlaze previously noted, Beck has, in the past, speculated that the ex-CIA head would ultimately take the fall on Benghazi. During his radio show today, he discussed this theory in detail, while highlighting the forces that may be at play.

At the beginning of the segment, the popular radio host reminded listeners about MoveOn.org and the left’s past attacks on Petraeus. Later, he went on to discuss the Benghazi, Libya, attack and speculation that the affair was used as leverage against the ex-general.

As for Benghazi, Beck questioned the timeline of the scandal surrounding the former general. As for the attack, the host speculated that, considering Petraeus’ knowledge of the elements at hand, the timing is suspect.

“General Petraeus knows it — knows everything about it. He’s got all the information. The week before he testifies this comes out,” Beck said of Petraeus’ knowledge of the Libyan terror attack.

Beck speculated that the president and administration officials knew about the affair, but that they held the information until last week.

“This is what the mob does gang,” he told listeners. ”You’ve got to look at the president and this administration as Al Capone…This is what they do. They hold the information.”

As for Benghazi, Beck said that, though he doesn’t believe Petraeus will speak out, if the general has the level of character most Americans assumed he did prior to this scandal, then he very well may.

“I don’t think he’s going to say anything. If he is the man we thought he was, he will. And his children will suffer for it,” the host continued.

  That can get done by a small group of people in the Army. In the meantime we will be following the paper trail & testimony to your messiah. We have not forgotten nor forgiven the deaths in Benghazi.

  …First, Barry has not a clue what is happening and doesn’t care. Second, if the new misses is correct, the CIA was holding prisoners( hostages actually) in the Benghazi compound and the attack was to free them, Stevens’s killing was colateral damage in the rescue attempt of the hostages. See,the CIA has NO authority in Lybia to hold ANYONE…it’s a sovereign country. See, we don’t respect that, then others don’t respect ours. So the CIA was disappearing some folks, suspected terrorists I would suspect, and all hell broke loose and people got killed. Those in the know didn’t want it known and the whole silly video story was a smoke screen that blew away to quickly. Will the disgraced former CIA head admit to war crimes and violation of UN and International laws ?..are you serious :)….

I think that a Petraeus set up has been in the works for a while. When people were speculating who Romney’s VP pick would be I remember reading stories that the White House was resigned to the fact that Petraeus would get the nod. It was almost as though they were attempting to goad Romney into a trap. I’m surprised I haven’t seen anyone mention this.

Glenn Beck has it exactly 180 degrees out.

The General cast his future as an Obama puppet when he parroted the spiel about the “video made them do it” in front of both the House and Senate Intel Committees in the days after 9/11/12. By the time he testified (about 3 days before Ambassador Susan Rice’s Lie-a-thon on Sunday) the fuses were blowing in the professional intelligence community. My take is that Petraeus USED his affair as a convenient out to avoid a much more inglorious end such as being found slumped over his steering wheel in an “apparent suicide.” Petraeus was given that choice in no uncertain terms.

I believe that a very determined CIA team will eliminate, one way or another, EVERY swinging you-know-what in the chain-of-command on the night of 9/11/12. Do you really think that you can hang two of your own CIA agents out to be slaughtered and all those trained killers just respond by throwing their arms up and saying ‘Tough luck’? Do they not envision the same thing happening to them? How do you prevent that?

The smart boys and girls who play in the espionage sandbox might even call in a few favors from around the globe to take care of the traitors. Do you think that any agent in the Mossad wouldn’t give their eye teeth to set-up a fat turd in the Obama administration? NOBODY is out of the scope of their playground, including a guy who speaks on Veterans Day that “We take care of our own.”

Hello everyone,

our country is currently having a full-blown emergency. I spoke to an FBI agent before the election and he said that he hoped voters would realize that Obama was working with the Muslim Brotherhood. I am half black, half white, like the President. I know a LOT of black people. An awful lot of them are sick and tired of $4.00 per gallon gas, a lot of them believe Obama to be a false Christian. A lot of them think we need a change as President. Due to these facts, I have to believe there was MASSIVE FRAUD in this election.

I hope General Petraeus does the right thing and tells the truth about Benghazi when he appears to testify. If he continues to cover Obama’s ass we could very well end up in a civil war as Donald Trump predicts. Let us pray that the General outs Obama and that he is tried for treason and subsequently executed.

Diane Feinstein may end up being a key.
There’s some pretty bad blood between her and Obama dating back to ’08. Her campaign advisor was found dead and then her campaign treasurey was robbed of several million dollars. Suspicions at the time were that it was possibly all related to Obama beause the dead advisor had proof of Obama’s foreign donations in California.

Watching her on with Chris Wallace yesterday, she’s not a happy camper. She could also be in very grave danger. She could be next if she pushes this investigation as far as it need t go.

Obama is close….really close…to the Muslim brotherhood who is close to other terrorist groups. He made a deal with terrorists to attack the US consulate and take all Americans inside hostage. He then would pull imaginary strings and make imaginary threats and the hostages would be let go a week or two before the election. He would then be hailed a hero and re-elected by a grateful public. He did not trust his election tampering because he did not know the true strength of Romney’s base so obama wanted a back-up plan. The hostage plan was his back-up. When the overwhelming attack began the consulate was to surrender and be taken hostage but some brave American Soldiers ignored orders and went to the rescue of the consulate and the ambassador. These guys fought for 7 hours and died on obama’s TV screen. This battle angered the terrorists and they killed the ambassador and the deal was off. There was not supposed to be a big battle. This scheme was the reason why obama sent no help. He wanted the consulate to surrender…..but they didn’t. This is my educated opinion.

  I’ve been saying along that Obama planned Benghazi as a hostage release/October Surprise thing, but it got out os hand and Stevens died accidentally from smoke inhalation after being taken to the hospital by Lybian terrorists. He was supposed to become a hostage to be released as a result of Obama’s supposedly superior negotiating skills, but then there was the dangling “journal” that had to be retrieved by CNN and 7 pages returned to the family before it was safe for the FBI to enter the embassy? Please…
  Petraus has to resign because the CIA somehow stumbled onto the plot and he was offered with the choice between destroying his family with his affair and a resignation or being offed by Obama’s thugs.
  And when plan A which was to use the media to con his way into the White House didn’t appear to be working and plan B which was the October Surprise hostage release fell apart they had to resort to Plan C which was to hack the computerized voting system with a hack similar to the one used in Iran’s election.
  The affair probably happened. Both are dogs. Who cares? It’s all just another cover.

  Stevens may have been complicit in “October Surprise” plan B when it did not include his death or the resultant panicked references by Obama to the youtube video. Then there was the journal and it probably contained information about the membership of himself, Emanuel, and Obama in Chicago’s Man’s Country gay bath house that would kill Obama in the election so it had to be neutralized by CNN. Oh the tangled web we weave when first we practice to decieve.

  Petraeus needs to armor up and spill his guts to congress. Take obama down and force him out, then begin the ivestigation into the fraud and corruption coming from the top. Arrest and prosecute! make an example out of obama and his bosses. Execution would be appropriate. If the obama electorate wish to riot, then so be it. We can take care of ourselves.

There more new info coming out on this every day…it amazes me that the Administration didn’t know anything about this….BS…..I predict a lot of pleading the 5th in the hearings. We will never know the truth because we don’t have anyone with a big enough set to force the testimonies.
