Rep. Peter King Has Some Serious Questions About How the Petraeus Scandal Was Handled: ‘This Just Doesn’t Add Up’
GOP Rep. Peter King (NY) is raising some serious questions about the way the investigation of former CIA Director David Petraeus’s affair with his biographer was investigated and handled. On Sunday, he told CNN’s Candy Crowley that there’s a lot that “just doesn’t add up.”
“I have questions about the whole mater,” the head of the Homeland Security Committee said. “First of all I’m wondering how something involving emails went to the level of the FBI, how the FBI could have been investigating it this long, … to me if it was, the FBI director had the obligation to tell the president or the National Security Council at the earliest state. So it seems this has been going on for several months, and yet now it appears that they’re saying that the FBI didn’t realize until election day that General Petraeus was involved.”
“It just doesn’t add up,” he concluded. “You have this type of investigation, the FBI investigating emails, the emails leading to the CIA director, and it taking four months to find out that the CIA director was involved.”
“So I have real questions about this,” he added. “I think a timeline has to be looked at and analyzed to see what happened.”
When Crowley asked King what, exactly, he was suggesting, he explained:
“I’m suggesting there are a lot of unanswered questions. I think the FBI has to come forward and tell exactly when they began the investigation, why it reached that level, when they first realized that Gen. Petraeus might be involved, and at the time they did realize he was involved, did they go to the White House, did they go to the National Security Council. … How the FBI got involved, how long it was going on, did they get a court order, was there a federal court order for this email surveillance, what was contained in that order, when did they realize that it possibly involved the CIA director.”

Or they just keep telling lies and ignoring the crime until it just FADES AWAY like Fast and Furious. Maxine Waters is now head of that committee? Lord help us!

These Dems that were shocked and in awe over what happened /w GEN(R) Petraeus were the same ones calling him GEN BeTrayUs 6-7 yrs ago in Iraq. This is nothing but tyranny, er revenge, sorry, I mean Chicago Politics in action. To quote The Gratefull Dead, “set up like a bowling pin. Knocked down, you can never win.” All that happened was another Military General was taken down by the Rolling Stone Magazine, I mean some type of media.
I look for suicides to begin entering the picture. The boy king has a ways to go to beat Bill’s 5 page list.

Hey, I respect Rep. King but these are just politicians double speek… Get to the meat and potatoes.
It is now over two months since the Benghazi massacre. Not an incident. An attack on U.S. sovereignty with casualties.
- What was he doing there after over six months of it being deemed a hot zone,
- why were two guys forced to disobey orders to assist,
- why wasn’t back up on its way nor ordered to be sent,
- why the bad timeline,
- why the film was solicited as being an issue when there is now public docs refuting it,
- why this and why that… So many. Skip the politics already.
- why the coverup to include numerous generals, of major commands, retiring or reassignments.
We hate using the word hopefully but hopefully SC Rep Trey Gowdy and others of his caliber will attack and go for the hard things in this hopefully before this lame duck session.
You guys in Congress are less than 20 miles from my home. Can you hear me. Quit making us in the public speculate. GET the facts, and attack – attack – attack for answers.
Elections are over DO YOUR JOB !

And is too far gone to even realize that.
It’s the same reason Allen West lost the election.
If the election demonstrated one thing, it’s that

We as a populace have fallen so far behind the 8-ball now
that nothing short of a full-scale, REAL revolt, complete
with guns and some of us dying in the process, can do
the job. The corruption is now so ingrained into all levels
of government that we can NEVER expect them to clean
their own house. At some point, WE The People will need

Posted on November 12, 2012 at 8:46amThe art of obfuscation is being played out right before our eyes. The real problem is BENGHAZI and who knew what and when and why 4 brave Americans were killed, without the administration lifting a finger. However if the administration can cloud the picture with other things, especially a sexual scandal, it can effectively smokescreen the real problem. This is obfuscation at its best. The Chicago gang are masters of this game.
CONGRESS, CONCENTRATE OF BENGHAZI!!!! Yes, the FBI may have been lax in telling Congress about the affair but let Petraeus and his wife settle the romantic affair between themselves.
AGAIN:
CONGRESS, CONCENTRATE ON BENGHAZI!! not the smokescreen!

Posted on November 12, 2012 at 8:42amThe reason that it doesn’t add up is that the entire “scandal” is a hoax, created solely to deflect attention away from obama’s Benghazi cover-up. Petraeus is a key player in obama’s cover-up and his resignation was timed specifically to protect him from having to testify and to protect obama – Petraeus and obama have committed treason against the United States – they should be held accountable for their crimes, but, of course they won’t be.

Posted on November 12, 2012 at 8:51amOf course, it makes sense, they are just not telling us they are using Obamaian math where 1+1 does not equal two. Am waiting for the emperor to issue yet another fiat declaring executive privilege and classifying all the information. So the question then becomes will the sheeple in Congress just say oh, well and get back to buck passing and blame assigning or will they do their job? Was surprised that Candy Crowley yesterday didn’t jump full in with Rep. King yesterday and tell him that he was only interested in politicizing CIAgate. The second question will be whether the lamestream media jumps to the rescue and continues to gloss over all the failures and crimes of this regime. And the third and final question is whether the people will turn a blind eye, say whatever, and get in line for some Obamacash and an Obamaphone.

My son has above top secret security clearance and had to shut down his e-mail accounts, facebook page and cannot blog or have any e-communications on the www.
Unless these “e-mails” are somehow internal communications on a secured closed network, how is it that the Director of the CIA is e-mailing? That in and of itself, if true, is a security breech and points to a very large systemic problem that goes beyond the scope of a guy having an affair. Something stinks.

Individuals have to do this, not the ‘collectives.’ One’s RIGHTS are non-delegable. PERIOD. ‘Lost’ at the ballot box — oky doky then — next phase…. JURY box… What’s keepin’ ya? :-) THAT is where the POWER is… Ask Judge Andrew Napolitano…. All we can do is POINT you to the information — what you DO with it is up to YOU.
