Allen West Sees Gain in Votes in One Fla. County — Inches Closer to Automatic Election-Wide Recount

Mainstream media reports notwithstanding, the Allen West-Patrick Murphy race is far from over, according to a volunteer lawyer with the campaign. Voting irregularities abound in what has shaped up to be one of the most hotly contested congressional races of the 2012 campaign.
On Sunday, the West campaign saw a net gain of 535 votes for Congressman West in a re-feed of early ballots in St. Lucie County, roughly 43.5% of the total ballots cast in the conservative Florida county.
“That’s only two votes shy of the number of votes that President George W. Bush won the American presidency with in 2000,” said Jeffrey Scott Shapiro, a volunteer lawyer for the West campaign. Over 800 votes went “missing” in Sunday’s count and of those 800, eighty percent of them had previously gone to West’s challenger, Patrick Murphy. The West campaign likes those odds.
On Saturday, Florida had released an unofficial result showing Murphy with a lead of 2,442 votes, or 50.4 percent—a narrow lead which makes his count just beyond the half-percent margin mandated for an automatic recount.
“We only need another 249 votes to trigger a statutory recount of the total of hundreds of thousands of votes cast in this race,” Shapiro explained. “For the media to suggest Allen West has already lost this race is not only irresponsible, it’s untrue. The media needs to stop projecting what it wants to happen and start reporting the facts of what is actually happening.”
“I wouldn’t be surprised if a statutory recount shifted the final numbers,” he added. “We only recounted the early vote portion for three days in one county today, which was about five percent of the total votes cast in this race. The numbers shifted in the hundreds when we’re only about 1,800 votes behind to win. More important than victory however, is democracy. Everyone deserves to have their voice heard and their vote counted. Something is fundamentally flawed with the media when it creates the impression that recounting the votes is unnecessary.”
Shapiro doubts that the canvassing board in St. Lucie County is doing its due diligence.
“The Canvassing Board in St. Lucie County misled the public,” he said. “They said they would recount all 37,379 early votes, but instead they only recounted 16,275 early votes from November 1, 2 and 3rd. Still, out of the 43.5 percent of early votes they recounted we picked up a net gain 535 votes. If they recounted the remaining 56.5 percent, there’s very little question we’d pick up the 249 we need to trigger a statutory recount.”
“I never experienced these kind of obstructionist tactics and hostility when I was serving on John Kerry’s presidential election team in 2004,” Shapiro added. “I was impressed with the system despite its flaws, but I’m starting to realize that there’s a big difference when you’re a member of the same party as the supervisor of elections than when you’re with the opposition. What I’ve seen these past few days has caused me to lose some faith and confidence in the integrity of the democratic process.”
The race was the country’s most expensive House contest, with over $21 million raised. West is among the most prolific fundraisers in Congress.

This time it’s just blatant all out cheating! WE ALL KNEW this was the reason for BO fighting valid VOTER ID and wanting to BAN it. Many candidates would have lost without it.

Posted on November 12, 2012 at 12:03pmI’m also starting to believe that Romney should not have conceded so early. Only around 40K votes in Florida and around 100K votes in Ohio made the difference…I guarantee you some shennanigans took place with those numbers.
In any case…Obama will destory the democrat brand in the next four years and things will change. All this “change the platform” talk from some conservative pundits has been very premature. The million or so votes that fell short for Romney were in California and New York..two state where conservatives have all but given up voting in those states.
Indiana on the other hand went for Obama in 2008 and went for Romney in 2012…and by a bigger margin..a 10.5% dfferential in fact. Something else is taking place and it’s not abortion and amnesty.
Look at the early voting in Ohio..the democrats were registering and bussing to the polls students, immigrants, skid rowers..etc. This is a ripe field for vote harvesters. The GOP needs to take this from the democrat playbook…keep campaign stations open in these states…get a ground game going until the next Federal election.

Doing voter registration database research so far the average I have found is about 15% dead voters out of all the names I have checked on the voter registration rolls for my district.
There is a nursing home with 47 registered voters and the home has 20 beds. Of these 47 so far I have confirmed 4 dead using SSDMF http://ssdmf.info/ and Obits http://tributes.com/ . Seven I have found at a different address entirely (that means a different voting district). I have also found one guy that is in jail on a felony child sex crime (convicted felons are not supposed to vote).
Now that the election is over I am going to go back and see if any of the dead registered voters voted or if these people voted in two different districts or if the guy in jail voted. I think it would be a good idea to go back and look at the rolls in those swing states for any discrepancies especially since they do not have voter ID laws.

In Allen West’s race, Palm Beach County and St. Lucie County the elections supervisors are Obama partisans. West was blocked by a Judge in Palm Beach County, when he wanted the voting machines and ballots impounded. In St. Lucie County, where do I start. The lady has lied, obstructed, an on and on. These two counties were involved in Bush/Gore race doing the same thing. There were shenanigans likely in other counties where the Board of Elections are controlled by Democrats. Obama and Rahmn Emanuel came to Fl. about 3 times together to these counties. The supporters of Mr. West are pretty upset by these suspicious activities. These ladies should be removed from office since they are incapable of running an non-partisan election.

You could see it coming, democrats spent the prior four years fighting identity laws to allow the theft with multiple voting. You knew what they were sitting up and they did it. Now you are burdened with proving it which is to expensive and they know it. Fix the election system and stop it here. File a tax return and get a one vote ticket. screw everyone else, they got no skin in the game anyway. If you don’t pay taxes you have nothing to say about it.

There’s tax cheats all over the country so there has to be a better way to ensure the integrity of the election process.On second thought that might be a good way to eliminate fraud,either way something has to be done to fix this no pun intended issue.

Posted on November 12, 2012 at 8:08amThere is something wrong with the system when your “ballot” to get on an airplane is given care because you don’t want an air plane to crash, but we can’t demand that about elections? What is the difference at the end of the day?
What good is it, if everyone can vote, but the election is not verifiable? Should it not be against the law to report election results for 2 weeks after an election to make sure the results are valid? Where does it say in the US Constitution that elections are television shows that will be decided the same day? Where does it say that? I really want to know?
What good is it, if I don’t have to show to show an id, and then the election is flawed with rampant fraud? Casting a vote, and having the right to vote in a fair, verifiable election are not the same thing are they?
If we are going to have the right to vote, it should be verifiable, and it should be given enough time to count the votes, and not be treated like a game show?

Posted on November 12, 2012 at 8:19amHere is something you need to see computer programer testified to Congress in 2009 he had created a prototype that could flip electronic results on any election 51 – 49 by a flag on tabulating machine and the tabulating machine can flip the votes on the local machine; the machines talk both ways. He says it is virtually undetectable. He says when exit polling data does not match the votes likely fraud involved. He testified infront of the likes of Maxine Waters and others

As a former programmer, it would be SO easy to
re-program the machine to count every ‘nth vote’
for candidate-x, and change it to candidate-y.
It’s all invisible. Sure, you could DISPLAY the
vote on the screen as counting for candidate-x,
which results in a warm, fuzzy feeling for the
voter. But the REAL vote, the one sent to
the tabulating computer, would be for candidate-y.
So easy it’s not funny.

Michigan, Florida, Vermont, Virginia, Ohio, Washington, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, and Hawaii all have voter ID laws and all went to Obama. I can understand why you might not have taken on the monumental task of actually verifying the information you spew. After all, I had to use a very complicated and new website for researching data. It’s a little thing that you may never have heard of. It’s called google. It took me a whole 2 to verify the info.

I join in either party to fight voter fraud. Too bad the democrats don’t see it that way, to them it is fine as long as they are committing the fraud on America.

Seems if you’re really confident that there’s nothing fraudulent going on then you should be eager to have the ballots recounted.

Fox News cannot have the biggest audience and the highest ratings and not be the most mainstream of all media, by definition. I am not surprised that they have you all fooled though. After all, the ten most educated states voted for President Obama, while the ten least educated went to Romney.
