Over the weekend, a curious theory was advanced about whites and abortion on MSNBC’s “Melissa Harris-Perry Show.” While discussing demographics and electoral politics during Saturday’s episode, CBS’s Nancy Giles offered up some bizarre words — statements she’s now claiming were said in a joking manner.

After host Harris-Perry showed a demographics chart and noted that she believes “the news of the demise of the white man is vastly overstated,” Giles offered up her own assessment.

“It’s been weird to watch white people report on this,” the CBS contributor said. “You know when you just showed that graph of the decline of the numbers, I thought — maybe that’s why they’re trying to eliminate all these abortions and stuff. They’re trying to build up the race.”

While, in the wake of negative reaction, Giles is claiming that these comments were said in gest, Harris-Perry’s on-air reaction is intriguing. The host responded, ”There’s always eugenics associated with these questions.” As she was speaking, Giles could be heard saying, ”How creepy, right?”

  The sad truth is that by the middle of this century the Caucasian race will be in the minority in America. Can anybody name one nation that is populated by a vast majority of blacks and ruled by them that is not a basket case? I can’t think of any. The nation is doomed. Most of us won’t live to see it, but if I were a young person, I would opt for sterilization rather than have children doomed to live in such a place.

  From a 2006 study and since all give away programs have expanded, than it might not be to far off to say that free abortions have expanded % wise too. Black women make up 12.6 % of the female population in the US and account for 36.4% of all abortions.

  What’s actually creepy is that she’s half right. It is about eugenics. If she would just get off her lazy **** and research, she’d see it was eugenics aimed at wiping out *her* and other minorities. Basic research on the anti-life and Planned Parenthood history immediately returns results, in the founders/advocates own words, demonstrating a strong and vocal urge to eliminate racial minorities.
  
  So in essence, if whites were trying to eliminate anti-life laws, that would in effect build up *minorities*, not whites.

  @ Chicago…. After I answered your post I went online and did some research. This is what I found. A paper studying changing demographics as related to racial majorities in the U.S. and published in the Jan,Feb. 2012 edition of the Boston Review found that in the latest nationwide census the number of whites under 18 yrs. of age in the U.S. is 21% while the number of Brown under the same age is 44%. California ceased being a white majority state in 2000 and Texas by 2010 when the white population numbering just 45%. The study also found that current trends continuing, our country WILL cease being a white majority nation “somewhere around 2042-2050″. If you care to do the research, the study is called “The brown majority” by Stephen Ansolabeher. There is much more information in the study but it confirms my claim that current trends suggest the sad truth I stated is in fact the truth. I would hope that in the future when a person, especially one who shares your love of country and ideology, posts a comment with which you disagree, you would, at the very least ,counter the comment minus the use of pejoratives.

  White 36% = 175 million white people having 450k abortions or about 5.5% of pregnancies ending in abortions
  Black 30% = 27 million black people having 375k abortions or about 46% of pregnancies ending in abortion
  Hispanic 25% = 40 million Hispanic people having 312k abortions or about 26% of pregnancies ending in abortion
  Other Races 9% = 27 million others having 113k abortions or about 14% of pregnancies ending in abortion

After being pregnant and experiencing the kicks and other movements of my kids before they were born, after seeing their hearts beating on the ultrasound, I just can’t understand how anyone could not consider the unborn as being anything other than human.

Why is it that these people can make comments about white people and just an apology is ok, but if someone were to say something about the blacks, the world comes crashing down on the the speaker? Of course they have to backtrack by saying it was a “joke.” I think overall birth rates are down (for all races) because the economy is doing so horribly. Also, Planned Parenthood (and others) will push abortion as an option for poor women thinking that they are helping a woman escape poverty. This is what Sanger was trying to avoid– generational poverty, but it turned into something horrible. People won’t have kids if they can’t afford to provide basic needs for them. I think the unemployment numbers for blacks are even higher than the national average if we sort them out as a group– if you’re barely getting by, you won’t add some babies into the mix. Diapers and formula are expensive!!!!

And the close proximity of the clinics to minority neighborhoods or the targeting of them as a demographic to be eliminated. Don’t you just love the twisted assertions on the left. We continuously talk about ways to strengthen the families, especially the black fathers to be able to take their rightful place in their homes. Racism plain and simple. If you look at the numbers, more blacks are aborted on a yearly basis than any other race in AMERICA. This racial crap is part of what is dividing our country, the other part is all those that want the handouts. We are now in the generation of free stuff and immorality.
