Ever since it was revealed that Jill Kelley, the woman arguably at the center of the currently-unfolding drama rocking the U.S. government, is of Lebanese origin, Twitter users have asked whether she and CIA Director Petraeus’ mistress Paula Broadwell should be investigated for potential national security leaks.

Kelley first came into the public eye after Broadwell began sending her “threatening” emails regarding getting too close to Petreaus. But she really piqued the public’s interest after it was revealed that General John Allen also sent her thousands of pages of “inappropriate” emails, and an FBI agent even sent her shirtless photos of himself.

Now, Orcas George at the extremely left-leaning Daily Kos has begun building the case that Kelley’s actions are suspicious at best, and that if she was not in the employ of a foreign intelligence service, “the world’s spy agencies have collectively suffered a dereliction of duty.”

Mind you, The Daily Kos is the same site that called Minnesota Congresswoman Michele Bachmann’s investigation into Huma Abedin a “witch hunt,” despite tangible connections to the Muslim Brotherhood.

The article explains:

It probably goes without saying that both General Petraus of the CIA and General Allen would be top targets for foreign intelligence operations — especially by countries in the Middle East. Knowing details of US actions there would be of benefit to many countries; some allies, some nominal allies and some considered to be enemies.

The fact that socialite Jill Kelley’s maiden name is Khawam and that she was born in Lebanon to Maronite Christian parents should raise eyebrows a bit. (Note that the Maronite Christians were allies of Israel in the Lebanese Civil War/Lebanon invasion.) The fact that she and her husband were willing to go into debt to throw lavish parties for high level officers who are involved in the Middle East should make even the most resolute anti-CTers among us pause. The further fact that she is identified as an unofficial liaison between top American Generals and unspecified Middle Eastern contacts, well…[Emphasis added]

Using supplementary details from a Washington Post article, the Daily Kos then proceeds to detail Kelley’s access, motivations, connections, opportunity, and ability.

And that’s only part of their argument. Again, that comes from one of the most liberal sites out there — not some wild conspiracy theory outlet.

Geez, why did it take so long to come out? The woman is “essentially” a foreign national spying for ISRAEL (oh, the horror). She must be arrested immediately. This foreign alien — whatever — deserves the same fate as that Coptic Christian who made the anti-Islam video.

  Last time I looked at a map Lebanon was not in Israel or vice-verse-a. So maybe she is a Hamas or Iranian agent but who knows for sure.   Hi MONK, This is all beginning to defy all imagination. When I first joined the Army back in the ’70s Petraeus was probably still a butter bar, and I can only imagine that Allen was too. Essentially, both spent almost half of their military careers during the Cold War. It was drilled into me from the very start and all over again, and again, and especially even more the first time I arrived in Germany, to keep your mouth shut, and if anybody you happen to run into starts asking questions, report it. We were constantly taught what to look for and how not to get caught in a trap. Now, it seems that these two top generals forgot all of this and fell into such an amateurish situation? Not only that, it looks like the White House tried to handle the situation by neither stopping or exposing it. Right now I feel that a bunch of PFCs and Navy and Air Force equivalent ranks could run the military far better. You generals are using the wrong heads, and that goes for that idiot FBI agent. You guys trying to reduce yourselves to act like the Secret Service and the AT(F Troop)?

  She is spying for obama. To ensnare the top brass in scandal so they can be relieved of command. Relieve the commanders that are loyal to the nation. This way any coup attempt is neutralized by the obama regime, also a power struggle between military and civilian leadership (so called leadership).
  
  Petreaus was on the verge of spilling the beans on Benghazi, running guns, RPGs, shoulder fired surface to air missiles to the very Al Qaeda rebels fighting against Assads troops in Syria,that obama had supposedly defeated and they didn’t want this to come out. They watched Ambassador Stevens and the others die to cover up this entire op.
  
  In the end, if congress has any balls or internal fortitude left, Hitlery Clinton, Susan Rice, and other CIA operatives (Mueller), will hopefully be prosecuted, as well as obama getting his impeachment papers. Notice Panetta is trying to stay well clear of this.

  Why? There are no damning emails between Kelley and Petraeus. However, that accusation could work with General Allen, who apparently is also being targeted by the WH.
  
  They don’t need Kelley to destroy Petraeus because Broadwell already did that. However, Kelley has served as an excuse to justify the FBI’s hacking into Petraeus’ computer, and to bring Allen down as well.
  
  Man, the FBI deserves an across-the-board salary increase.

  Obama knew about this yet did nothing until after the election? And what was going on in Benghazi? O is screwed. Biden knew too and has lied in public about it. I hope they don’t try to replace Biden with Hillary any time soon. Republicans should replace Boehner with Ryan.

  Maybe. The CIA really did have a prison at Bengazi (illegal due to executive order), potential spy with ties to 2 four-star generals, 3 generals, cia head and 1 admiral resign and more and Obama did nothing. On top of that the head of the cia in an extra-marital affair (blackmail threat) and he knew nothing until after the election as well as stating he just heard about it on the election night. Too many people know the truth for it not to get back to Obama. And we’re not even a week into this. And then there is the question about what was really going on in Libya. At least that’s part of my theory, and I’m sticking to it.

  Is anyone going down the trail that this ‘psycho’ may have diplomatic immunity so she won’t have to testify either? And then what? All these accusations, all this created and invented junk to take our eyes off Benghazi and you won’t be able to question her…not that our Congressional hearings ever really find the truth about anything anymore…they are as inept as our media and our entire Congress today. Just know that she has ties to the Democrat party…John Kerry and Martha’s Vineyard and she’s millions in debt..and just hired Clinton’s attorney when he was in trouble with Monica Lewinsky…we need to find out who pays for that attorney..George Soros?…..the millions in debt she owes to most likely small business probably can’t be collected too because she’s got diplomatic immunity…..Ayn Rand had more brains in her little finger than the total brains of 31 million people who voted this guy in again. The ‘narcissist’ in chief said, “We are five days away from fundamentally transforming the United States of American narcissists.” Pretty soon the narcissists will be saying, “Why me, why is this happening to me?”….and they have no brain power (critical thinking skills) to figure out why it’s happening to them–it’s happening to them because of ‘who they are’ and ‘what they do’.
