Limbaugh’s Response to Petraeus, Allen Scandal Is Instant Classic: ‘Too Many Generals Taking Orders From Their Privates’

If you were looking for an iconic phrase to come from the evolving, real-life soap opera that is the David Petraeus/Paula Broadwell/Gen. John Allen/Jill Kelley affair and email scandal, Rush Limbaugh delivered on Tuesday.

During his monologue on the issue, Limbaugh uttered a classic line sure to leave many rolling: “I don’t want to prejudge this, folks, but it sure seems to me that we have way too many generals taking orders from their privates.”

That was in response to new news today that Gen. Allen exchanged thousands of pages worth of “inappropriate” emails with Kelly, the woman who was threatened by Petraeus’s mistress and who eventually took that badgering to the FBI.

That’s quite a way to put it. You can listen to that short section below, courtesy of Daily Rushbo:

And here is Rush’s full monologue:

In CONTROL, Glenn Beck presents a passionate, fact-based case for guns that reveals why gun control isn’t really about controlling guns at all; it’s about controlling us. Find out more HERE.

    .
Rush and Beck are the only ones that make sense of these stories.
Something big happened in Libya, and Obama knew, and let people die.
Gun running to Syria? Weapons we gave Libyan “rebels” are now in Al Qaeda?
We always support the muslim brotherhood?
    The coverup is underway.
Let’s see if Petraeus bows to mob rule.

Obama -”We’re the Most Transparent and Ethical Administration in U.S. History!”
hahaha, Obama’s selections for leadership positions have to be some of the worst ever conceived in the history of the USA. As for transparency, the only thing transparent is Obama’s distain for the American people and our country.

the general didn’t just ef that lady. he effed each and everyone one of us – right up the touchas. by compromising himself, he allowed himself to be subject to political blackmail and he gave away top secret scoop to his concubine. if guys like this can earn 4 stars, my next door neighbor Joey can too.

im really disappointed in Genital Petraeus. his actions are inexcusable.

but i also believe the administration will make him into the scapegoat for the libya fiasco, which he does not deserve.

Obama was wrong. The military still uses bayonets. At least, the generals are.

Does anyone else get the impression there is a dragnet going down? Patraeus, Africon commander, Mcafee framed for killing neighbor *happens to be an expert in virus, worms, hacks)? Top Position cabinet people extricating themselves in exchange for “life, liberty and the pursuit of the elitist dream existence’? This while obama meets with the Muslim brotherhood and the union radicals of the alinsky left, asking them what do they want and what do they need?

Now, General John Allen? Is Obama following in the footsteps of Hitler and Stalin….knocking down our Generals one by one?

I’m not a Dittohead, but Rush nailed it (NO pun intended). Top brass answering the call of BOOTY, while listening INTENTLY to their privates…SPECTACULARLY EPIC FAIL. And not to let these women off the hook, it’s beyond SAD. But given our present culture, I’m not surprised. Skank “ho” behavior is standard now, and a woman is considered odd if she has respect for herself. As a retired female soldier, it’s quite embarrassing. *shakes head*

It was a classic! I did get a good laugh about it. I’ve tried to stay away from all this flabbergas which has taken over the more important investigations that should be done. BENGHAZII, and the murder of 4 Americans. FAST AND FURIOUS, the murder at Agent Terry and 300 Mexicans. VOTER FRAUD that has Patriots mad as he!!. JOBS AND THE ECONOMy, that apparently is going to be decided by ovomit’s radical guests today. The cover ups to protect this evil regime is mind-boggling and should be at the forefront of our elected congress. But, what is the important thing to them??? Legitimizing illegal immigrants.
