Florida Man ‘Very Upset About the Election Results’ Kills Himself, Writes ‘F**k Obama’ on His Will

A Florida tanning salon owner who told his partner “if Barack gets re-elected, I’m not going to be around” was found dead two days after the election with empty prescription bottles nearby and the words “f–k Obama” written on his will, the Key West Citizen reported.

Henry Hamilton, 64, the owner of Tropical Tan in Key West, was “very upset about the election results,” his partner Michael Cossey reportedly told a police officer.

Police reported finding two empty prescription bottles, one to treat anxiety and one to treat schizophrenia.

Key West Police Department spokeswoman Alyson Crean told the Citizen autopsy results were pending but said there was “absolutely no evidence of foul play.”

Cossey told police that Hamilton “has been very stressed about his business,” the newspaper reported, and said the last time they spoke was “when we watched the election results” on Nov. 6 when Obama defeated Republican challenger Mitt Romney.

If he’s suffering from schizophenia maybe the other half is still alive.

I’m surprised there haven’t been more suicides when the thought of another Obama Administration is looming.

What struck me was why would anyone go to a tanning salon in Key West ?

Although the article doesn’t specify just what drugs they were, it states “Police reported finding two empty prescription bottles, one to treat anxiety and one to treat schizophrenia.†If he had been off his meds for a while (not an unusual thing with psych patients), it could result in enough mental stress to cause him to OD.

Obama praises suicide as political speech.

“There are times in the course of history when the actions of ordinary citizens spark movements for change because they speak to a longing for freedom that has been building up for years,†the president said, comparing Bouazizi’s actions [he burned himself to death in protest] to “the defiance of those patriots in Boston who refused to pay taxes to a king, or the dignity of Rosa Parks as she sat courageously in her seat.†– quote from Obama’s Arab Spring speech.

Suicide is a very serious desperate act born from incredible despair. This man had good reason to despair. I am in despair. Yet I will not wallow in it, I will not lie down, and die. My thoughts and prayers go out to his loved ones.

However I worry about the validity of this sentence, and I hate that I have to be so skeptical of anything the press publishes.

“Police reported finding two empty prescription bottles, one to treat anxiety and one to treat schizophrenia.”

Right cause no one in their right mind would support Romney, only someone crazy enough to kill themselves if he lost. They wasted the meaning and the purpose of his sacrifice. They reduced this man’s life down to being crazy. He was a entrepreneur. A partner. A friend. He was assuredly loved and respected by someone.

I am far from endorsing or recommending what this man has done. I will ask you this simple question, whats the difference between him and Mohammed Bouazizi? The Tunisian who set himself on fire that sparked the beginning of the Arab Spring. What’s the difference between him and the Tibetans who set themselves on fire, self-immolate themselves to express their despair under Chinese oppression.

There is no difference. Henry Hamilton is Martyr. I fear the first of many to come.

Liberals do the same things over and over and promise the voters that the results will be different “this time.”

Liberal voters beleive this, and vote for them, again and again, while the problems they are trying to solve get worse and worse.

Every single things liberals do makes the Problems they are addressing WORSE, every single time, with NO excpetions. It’s just simple history, look it up.

Please tell your Dr how you feel .ther are so many great medications available today. Life is too short. Deal with you depression and suicidal ideation and live life to the fullest. The world and the USA will be fine in 4 years. There’s a huge entertainment industry that thrives on fear and predictions of doom. Barry Goldwater was giving the same spiel in ’64. Obama is not a Marxist. He is not much different from W or Clinton. The administrations serve the corporate interests and the wealthy first. The rich have almost all the power and will not allow socialism unless it’s corporate welfare and bailouts. Get help. You’ll be so much happier.

This is catholic doctrine that suicide is one way ticket to hell. Rejecting Jesus is the only one way ticket to hell. Jesus died for all sins, even really nasty ones, and great moral sins were paid for , past, present, and future, by God’s (son’s) blood. Anyone who has truly accepted the FREE GIFT of salvation, paid in advance by Christ, will be in heaven, anyone who hasn’t will be judged by the ten commandments and go to hell. There is NO sin the is not washed when one receives ETERNAL salvation, there is NO Biblical definition of any temporary salvation.
HIS blood cannot be washed away by sin, it washes sin away!

Catholic doctrine or not, taking ones own life is akin to taking another’s life. If you believe you were created in God’s image for his purpose and you cut that process short in ANY manner, you have gone against his will. What I won’t do is judge or reason how God will receive or deal with us if we do chose to disregard his purpose and take matters into our own hands.

They want you to believe that all you are comes from those who govern you. The fact is, we have to keep hope alive in our hearts and in our minds. I’m a Pollyanna, I can find mounds of hope in this craptastical situation we have been forced,to endure. Go out and find it in your homes, neighborhoods, cities, counties and states. You seem to be very comfortable judging a man based on a short news article. No mention was made of the situation he was in financially. There could have been many other factors (that we are not aware of) that made this a VERY different decision than we all are thinking.

If I still had a business (once, not anymore) I’d be very worried about how I would be making enough money to keep my staff employed. I’ve never met a business owner who wasn’t concerned about his empoloyees, and who didn’t agonize over having to let someone go.

Why are we all so quick to judge someone based on a couple of sentences in a news article?
