I didn’t sign because I would NEVER give the White House my e-mail so I can be on some LIST! I understand these are just protest petitions, however, IF Texas ever did secede, I would move there. I also believe this may start a REAL conversation about STATES RIGHTS, finally. Let’s hope so.

I’m sorry to tell you, but if the government wanted to find out about you, they wouldn’t need to have you already on “some list”

I agree with your sentiment, but you are already on a list, two in fact, and from that list all others correlate, you filed a Federal Income Tax statement, and you have contributed to the Social Security Account Fund. Limiting your exposure to these “lists” is always in your interest.

We just need to secede the parts we don’t want. Most Foodstamp and UI programs are administered by state agencies. Get your state legislature to vote those out and replace them with one that only offers bus tickets to another state of your choosing. If there are no obama phones and no food stamps they will all go somewhere else. Voluntary deportation sounds great to me. I would send them all to NY or California. Let them deal with the welfare queens.

      Hi Equal,

I don’t believe that you fully appreciate where our little republic stands at this point in time.

If you did, you wouldn’t give a damn about who knew what your thoughts were. If you can read my sign in, I think that you know where I’m coming from.

Some of my best friends are men who I met as a result of us signing ourselves up to Eric Holder’s “list” that he created in the first days of the Obama administration. You remember that list? You were told to turn-in your neighbor if you suspected them of behavior that ran counter to Obama’s brand of Marism / Socialism.

Many of us signed ourselves to the list to proudly proclaim that Obama, Eric Holder, Hillary Clinton and all the other liars can go straight to hell.

      Get my point, Equal?

I refuse to comment on if I would or would not support leaving the union because no matter where you say it on the internet once you say it then its out there and just as bad as signing you name to the Whitehouse’s enemy list. NEVER EVER sign your name to something like that are you crazy?? regardless of how you feel some things are better left off the internet. All you facebook junkies that post every little second and thought in there lives of facebook I feel sorry for you. You are being stupid and blind. Stop doing it.

These petitions of secession are not legitimate state actions. All 50 states have had some citizen/citizens who have created and signed petitions to secede. We all can agree that not every state would be willing to secede. Really in my opinion these so called petitions amount to voluntary enemies lists. If there were a “REAL” movement towards secession I would most likely join it.
I seriously doubt that the people in power would peacefully grant secession because they would not be able to mooch off of us and would be losing all the resources in whichever states were part of the new country we would be creating. I wish we could divide peacefully into two friendly nations. In our new nation we could renew our constitution, and start over with less laws, fair tax etc.. It’d be great! Won’t happen though.

Of course the petitions aren’t ‘legitimate’, but they do send a message to the congress critters. And they get people talking, which is sometimes a good thing to do (though I believe the time for talk is about over, if not already past).
Too, the petitions have brought out the opposite kind of people, as well: those whose ideas about how to handle the petitioners and signers. That really clears the air about the ideals of both sides.

If part of a body is rotton, it must go. Seceding from the union may have to be. As for signing it. Yes, I believe I would. I trust any American who has proper love of this country and respect for the laws of this land (The Constitution) over this phony in our White House. He is a thug and not fit to run a dog kennel.

Signing this petition doesnt put you on a list that you werent on already. Give me a break already.
My fellow Americans… It is time to figure out which side you are on. George Soros said it best: “The United States is the only country standing in the way of the New World Order”. The UN is coming to a town near you and what will you do when they knock on your door? The majority in this country has their heads in the sand… As long as there is food in grocery stores and gas to buy and the power is on, most people could care less what is going on in this country or the rest of the world. When the economy collapses the majority of citizens will choose to be a serf and stand in line for a handful of food. Those who refuse will end up at the bottom of a pile of other agitators… Jesus is coming back soon… The signs are all out there… You don’t have to believe that but I challenge you to study Bible prophecy and then make a judgement for yourself. REPENT !!! THE END IS NEAR !!! MARANATHA !!!

I am normally near lock-step with Glenn but not here. I believe that there is no reason that a state shouldn’t be able to break away peacefully. Let’s be honest, forcible inclusion into an organization is nigh on to slavery. Please read the link below and explain to me why any state should be constrained by the Constitution in perpetuity…

Obama & the media has comitted treason. Yet, there is talk of deporting CITIZENS for speaking their minds & oposing their will. Our Constitution has been here long before Obama. Yes, I signed the petition. I think I was wrong. Not out of fear but out of love for my country. I will not run & hide, nor will I stop exercizing my RIGHT to free speech. When we have our Ambassadors killed, our fellow citizens killed, I get angry, very angry. They could have stopped it, they could have prevented it. They did nothing. They watched it happen. That’s treason. The media is covering it up. That’s treason. I will not go quietly into that good night. I will fight. Villify & degrade me, if you must, but I will not go away.

Do you really think the fraud was not enough to turn the tide of the election?!? St. Lucie, Florida 175,554 registered voters 247,713 vote cards cast. That’s 72,159 fraudulant votes if the turnout was 100%, but the voting machines only counted roughly 123,000 voters, so 125,000 fraudulant votes in a state Obama won by under 74,000 votes. 10 COUNTIES in Colorado had more votes than voters. And there were mysteriously 13 million voters less in this election than 2008. That’s 1 out of 10 voters.
Obama’s tactic was to make the fraud so massive that no one would double check it, because ‘hey, would it really make all that much of a difference?’

In St. Lucie, Florida, the ballot was on two cards, so the number of cards is twice the number of voters.

“10 COUNTIES in Colorado had more votes than voter”

That’s not even what the story that isn’t true actually said. The story that isn’t true said that ten counties had more registered voters than voting age residents. The people who made that claim overlooked the fact that two years worth of teenagers who were too young to vote at the time of the last census will have come of age by now. There are probably also a lot of dead people still on the rolls, just as there are everywhere, but that doesn’t necessarily mean that votes are being cast in their name.

No, MX would be a trading partner. We also have ports & our own electrical grid, that we share with MX. Not to mention that corporations have moved their production to MX, There were a great many Texans that signed that petition. The State of Texas will not let us be deported..which is ricdiculous to believe. Obama is not going to take this petition seriously. They will point & laugh. What could happen is that counties in Texas have a right to secede. YUP..that’s how it works in Texas. When Texas joined the Union each county had to agree. Not to mention that Texas has no State Tax, with secession, which won’t happen, they could have a State Tax & make the same money the Feds portion back to the States. But the petition is a PROTEST & has over 100,000 signatures last I looked.

I am for secession regardless of the consquences. If the feds would go by the constitution, the states would have more of a say-so about their culture, rights, and beliefs. IF this were instituted and the feds would bow out of a lot of issues…….there would be no talk of secession.

The America Obama is redoing is not our America. He or we will have to go. We are tired of supporting this phony and his greedy wife and their thugs in a manner they certainly do not deserve. He stole the election and is not above binding our society to the will of the sodomites, the criminals, the fringes who want to overthrow our country. They can have the scraps for the main course is leaving the table. Those states who want to suck off the work and labor of a few will have to figure it out and try to support the thug-in-chief in some manner other than what he demands. We would not give him a job for he is not fit to work in this country.

I signed it because I have been saying we should secede for years. I am sure they have my name somewhere too. Texas is probably one of few states that could go now. Others may have to have some time to get prepared for life without the government teat. Some blue states keep saying red states get more help from the feds than they and could not make it alone Wrong! We get more government money because we have more of a percentage of minorities. Our white areas are just as modern and prosperous as the northern counterparts. BTW…those minorities will be going to the federal states as soon as we secede. Hope you enjoy them. If they send troops to occupy us we will have to fight. We will fight them like the afghans fight them.

YES,, there are many sites saying it is not so, just as there are many sites claiming the
Bengahzi attack was caused by a video and that everything else is a “conspiracy theory”,
just as Fort Hood was a “workplace incident”, etc.

From personal exp. (My best friend has a family of 5 doctors. Another close friend is a nurse. Medical professionals have been informed that this is in the works and supposedly will cost about $10 a month per recipient which will help create revenue). BTW, each of these people are from different parts of the country, so it’s not one single area that is misinformed.

You can believe it -or not…..much like the mainstream media.. and the fairness of this election.
You can believe it -or not. Uncovering the truth in a nation filled with deceit and treachery can be rather difficult. You have to listen to your gut, your instincts and your faith in addition to other information. The fact of the matter is that the technology is already there and of course if it’s available, it will be utilized. (Probably not immediately if that gives you any relief….I’d think it will be phased in over the years….at 1st optional like most things of controversy).

The election was stolen! What else are we supposed to do when we no longer have representation? We want freedom, not this tyrannical government. We know what Obama’s goals are, he is an anti-imperialist and want to subjegate us to world courts and laws, bring our economy to the level of 3rd world nations and disarm our military. I don’t plan on signing a seccession petition but I would jump at the oportunity to join a state that has left the union. Like Texas. (nudge, nudge)

Whenever any form of government becomes destructive of these ends [life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness] it is the right of the people to alter or abolish it, and to institute new government …

Can you imagine any other way, after losing an election, we could have had a national platform to speak from within one week that has gotten almost as much attention as a SEX SCANDAL? Yes. Here are my reasons, in no particular order.

    - I don’t hide my opposition to government behind anonymity. I don’t wear an electronic Guy Fawkes mask. If I oppose something, rest assured the government has already received countless communications from me on the matter.

    - I’m already on their lists. Why? Well, first, I have a CHL. Second, I am a member of the Libertarian Party, which according to FOI reports I’ve seen, is considered a risk to national security. Third, I held at one time a high security clearance and worked in military intelligence. There’s not a list I am not on, except “peaceful quiet submissive citizen”.

    - Because if a cause is just, you stand up for it. To think that you are anonymous in the digital age is absurd. Any information anybody wants about you can be easily tracked, collated and data mined. The only semi-anonymous people anywhere are folks living in semi-secret self sufficient towns with a population of 10 or less, who have no contact with the outside of their town.

    - Because it’s the right thing to do for a free man. If you don’t stand in open defiance of the King and state “No further, I shall not submit any longer” to his face, then you are a coward.

Yeah, but Glenn says you are insane and that secession will never happen. :-)

You were MI? Can’t spell wimp with out “MI”. Okay, got that out of my system. LOL. I was logistics (built OR models…go figure huh?) Got tired of being a REMF chairborne ranger so re-upped for GWII by trying to get to tip of the spear. Because I’m color blind the closest I could get was Artillery. Guess they figure screwing up the bags and dropping a few short rounds is no big deal. Ha!

Anyways, totally laugh at GB on this. He thinks some how states can secede without seceding. Building gold reserves and strengthening defenses and banking balance sheets and rejecting federal legislation, etc. Oh I get it, because you don’t SAY your seceding then actually seceding is somehow ok? LOL

Regardless, anybody who thinks they can pull off some sort of federal rebirth via a ballot box is a delusional sheep. 58 million people voted for Mitt Freaking Romney for Pete’s sake. Their idea of “fixing” it is to simply pick their overlord. No thanks.
