Gaza Man Caught Faking Injuries to Create Anti-Israel Media Bias? Here’s the Video Evidence

“Pallywood” is a phenomenon that Israel’s supporters often use to describe the media manipulation that Palestinians resort to in an effort to turn people against the Jewish state. Individuals fake injuries and “act” as though they are hurt when they really are not — all in an attempt create a perception of Israeli aggression and mistreatment.

Take, for instance, video footage of a man who was allegedly injured and being carried by fellow Palestinians during Israeli airstrikes over the last two days. While the BBC showed video of him in apparent despair, he appears just moments later walking on his own and looking healthier-than-ever.

IsraelNationalNews.com provides more information on the latest alleged example of “Pallywood”:

Footage from the BBC captured by watchdog group Honest Reporting shows a heavy man lying on the ground and being carried away by residents, apparently after being injured by an Israeli attack.

Moments later, that same man again fills the frame, except he is walking about and obviously unhurt.

The widespread staging of such victim situations is a favored tactic of Arabs fighting Israel and has come to be known as “Pallywood.” Because Israel is stronger militarily, the Arabs cling to the underdog image of poor refugees under occupation and siege by evil Israelis, thus eliciting sympathy.

On a description under the video, Honest Reporting wrote, “What happens when the cameras turn up at the scene of an airstrike in Gaza and there simply aren’t enough Palestinian dead and injured to produce dramatic footage that can be used against Israel in the international media?”

Obviously, this isn’t the first time that reports of Palestinians faking injuries have run rampant. Another incident in 2002 purportedly shows a man faking his own funeral. IsraelInsider.com has more about the clip:

In a press briefing Thursday, IDF Intelligence Officer Colonel Miri Eisen screened video imagery of a staged Palestinian funeral photographed by an Israeli drone flying over Jenin on Monday, April 28. Pallbearers repeatedly tried to carry a green blanket wrapped around a man who pretended to be dead, but kept falling out of the blanket. The funeral took place between the area that was destroyed in the Jenin refugee camp and the nearby cemetery.

The Palestinians, Col. Eisen said, sought “to show as many casualties as possible were buried inside Jenin. They tried to falsify evidence in preparation for the committee by executing a fake [funeral] ceremony, carrying the ‘body’ and filming the entire process.”

The film was screened to foreign reporters and later shown on Israeli television, causing considerable amusement among the TV commentators and journalists, since the “corpse” kept tumbling out of the blanket. “One time he falls off the stretcher when he is already in a crowd,” Col. Eisen narrated. “When he came back to life in the middle of the crowd (at approximately 1:35 in the clip), the crowd breaks up because they didn’t know that it wasn’t really a corpse.” Israel Radio reported that many reporters laughed at the point in the tape that the “corpse” seemed to “rise from the dead,” causing the people around him to flee in terror.

  The video is good enough to convince the Lap Dog Media, they’ll edit it and run it 24 / 7.
  
  The video I saw yesterday that kill the Hamas Leader did not have any collateral damage – it was a direct hit right in the middle of the circle. In the middle of an empty intersection. The Passengers were destroy and the engine of the car was still running.

  I think we should create & donate a few thousand bacon bombs for Israel to drop on Gaza. It would be like a cluster bomb, but instead of dropping bomblets, it would fling out strips of raw bacon, all rollwed up into little balls.
  
  Also, since Obama feels that the crucifix of Christ suspended in urine is not insulting (The video insulted Muhammed per Obama, but he said nothing about the “art” exhibit of Jesus dipped in urin), I think we should buy a bunch of Qurans, soak them in pig piss, and drop them in Gaza as well.   Reminds me of the poor oppressed black people in america. Ok not all but most who seem to think so. I was driving up my neighborhood to the store yesterday when 3 black children walking started screaming at me. Two were about 10 years old, the youngest about 6 was yelling, im gonna kill you whitey, the older ones were just laughing egging him on. I was stunned. Really, what is wrong with you parents of black children, you create the hate and oppression for what mo money? Just like the Palestinians teaching hate and violence.   UPDATE: CNN is still using these fake videos in their broadcasts as of 10am this morning! They are showing clips and this guy pretending to be injured is one of the videos they are showing! Are they caught up in the propaganda? Why is the Blaze TV and Breitbart the only ones who caught this? I already sent CNN an email with a link to this phony video last night and they are STILL airing the fake injury video; I suggest everyone else on here do the same. The link is below to CNN.   On Glenn’s show last night he also showed how the left-wing sites and middle east media were showing pictures of Hamas carrying “children” that were apparently being injured by “zionists.” Only problem was the pictures were from SYRIA! Yep, they just screen grabbed pictures from Syria and posted them on sites and tv saying it was caused by Israel. Unbelievable! We live in an age when millions can now be manipulated by phony pictures and videos.
  
  BTW – don’t think the propaganda is simply happening in the middle east. See the video below of Christians being stoned by Muslims in MICHIGAN! Yet NOT ONE major media network decided to carry this except for the Blaze TV. (note: there’s a lot of bad language in the video -warning)

  I am an elderly lady and I still remember when studying World History (which probably is not even required anymore) and studying all the empires that ruled and how the middle east had been fighting even among themselves all their days, a comment made by my wonderful teacher was “people of middle east heritage have no respect for human life”. They blow themselves up thinking that will put them in favor of Allah…..DUH. If my God was asking me to blow myself up to please him, I would tell him where he could go and it wouldn’t be nice.

What else is new, warfare is now carried out:

Media fronts – propaganda and sympathy on the regional and international level. Seek to gain the moral high ground.

Political fronts – divide the enemy as much as possible using pressure from within and without by other sympathetic nations and NGO’s such as the Useless Nations.

Domestic fronts – stage ‘atrocities’ to galvanize your people and make the enemy appear as less than human and only worthy of extermination. Use it to drive the message home, this is victory or death in the war, no quarter and no surrender.

Economic front – against Israel force her to mobilize as many troops as possible, causing an extensive economic disruption; seek to have her embargoed and sanctioned by friendly nations and the UN. Claim any efforts by Israel against her enemies is ‘genocidal.’

This war in Gaza may easily come out as the one against Hamas did in Southern Lebanon a few years back: neither side won in the end.

  G’day, MOMRULES! Not necessarilly. News story (BBC or whoever) featured on Australian news had interviews/images of kids in hospital – though no apparent injuries/wounds etc were visible, only claims stated (via translator). Not saying I wish/desire to see blood and bandages etc for proof. Sadly, and wrongfully, the world will be convinced by the Anti_Israel mobs that the Israelis are the evil ones because of false images, distorted facts, and aspersions cast.
