Hillary Clinton to Testify Before Congress About Libya in December

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton will testify before Congress in December about the attacks in Benghazi, Libya, the chairwoman of the House Foreign Affairs Committee said Thursday.

Rep. Ileana Ros-Lehtinen (R-Fla.) announced during her committee’s hearing on Benghazi that Clinton would testify in early- to mid-December about the State Department’s own Libya review findings. Clinton will speak before the House and Senate foreign affairs committees, Ros-Lehtinen said.

The hearings will be open, Fox News reported.

Clinton had previously been asked to testify during Thursday’s House committee hearing but said she would be traveling abroad.

Four Americans died during the Sept. 11 U.S. Consulate assault.

      I don’t agree, Petraeus will lie to protect himself and ensure his military reputation. People tend to forget about affairs but not betrayals to our country. Hillary and the progressives will have some much needed time to come out smelling like a rose to allow her to go to the front of the line for presidency in 2016. Don’t think this has not already been planned and carefully thought out.Petraeus will get a position and I think Beck is correct. It will be at Princeton.

      The only reason he would lie is because he favors his military pension and some dignity over life in the brig after he is tried and convicted.If you don’t think that threat is being held over his head,guess agian.
      He already lied and gave some lame “the video” parroting of the party line.
      He has not one bit of self respect if he does lie and he will be selling out the very country he espoused to be willing to die for.
      To get prison over a nice pension suckes.No doubt he will consider how a prison sentence and loss of income will affect his alread shattered family.
      Poor guy can’t win in this mess but he needs to find his honor.I’m praying for him since I truly believe he is just a pawn in a much bigger scheme.

    Is Hillary self employed or does she work for us? Be a man Mr. Obama and tell her to get her butt on a plane for DC today. Oh, she needs time to prepare…we’ll hear from her in December…from behind closed doors…you still have no evidence of wrong doing…well, OK then, I guess I shouldn’t be worried.

      problem is Obama isn’t a “man.” he is like the bullies at school. he intimidates, gets others to do his dirty work, calls names, hasn’t a clue about “playing fair.”

      you are NOT the only one scared to death about our country…… “we the people” have to figure out a way to save our country. the politicians won’t. the legislators won’t. there is no Reagan to unite the country. we have to somehow come together as citizens of this country and take it back somehow.

      AL, are you sure she is not on the 2013 lies already. Being retired from the military, I always saw the government work on the fiscal year calendar…..oh wait. I forgot that we no longer have a fiscal year or even an annual budget. I guess that you are right after all and she would be expected to revert back to the calendar year.
