‘Wilkow!’: The Coming Layoff Bomb

Forty-seven days from the fiscal cliff and we’re already beginning to see signs of the coming ‘layoff bomb,‘ thanks to the re-election of Barack Obama and a lack of clear ideas on Capitol Hill to handle what’s coming. The medical device manufacturer Stryker for instance, whose current heir and namesake donated millions to Obama and Democrats this cycle, is set to lay off over 1,000 people to counter the Obamacare medical device tax. Stryker is one fourteen large companies FreedomWorks has identified that are already set to enforce layoffs due to new taxes that will take effect under Obama in term two:

With 20 or so new or higher taxes set to be implemented, ranging from a $123 billion surtax on investment income, through the $20 billion medical device tax, all the way down to the $600 million executive compensation limit, Obamacare will be a nearly unbearable tax burden on the economy.

Who will pay?  The middle-class workforce, of course.

Matt Kibbe of FreedomWorks and Anthony Randazzo of the Reason Foundation joined Wilkow! Thursday to discuss these projected layoffs, and what could be only the tip of the iceberg for the economic hardship ahead.

In CONTROL, Glenn Beck presents a passionate, fact-based case for guns that reveals why gun control isn’t really about controlling guns at all; it’s about controlling us. Find out more HERE.

Having seen many US presidents elected over the decades, it is not only sad but horrifying to see so many of our small thinking liberal country men gladly re-elect the worst president in our country’s history. Anyone who has not been preparing for what is sadly coming very soon, is either brain dead or just plain stupid. There will be hard times and fighting coming soon and everyone will see pain, be prepared to try and defend your family and property. Big city residents will see the first and most radical real chaos. The takers will pay too

Government nowadays is a cancer on society, growing
ever larger by the month. When was the last time you
can recall the Federal government getting SMALLER?
You cannot cite such a time. Even if an agency gets
dissolved, all of its employees get magically absorbed
into another, maybe brand-new, agency. It wasn’t always
this way – in B. Franklins time, you came, you served,
then went back home to your shopkeeper job. Now, it’s
more like a big ponzi scheme – and soon the number
of government workers on the dole will not be able to
be supported by the taxpayers they are “serving”, even
taxing them at 100%. Math says it all has to come
crashing down, at some point. Hope I’m dead by then.

There is a reason gun sales are soaring and ammo is getting a bit harder to get. Get armed, get trained, get ready, it’s not going to be pretty.

You may have an idea there..if the IRS does not get enough for your health care penalty during the year, they won’t send your refund back to you…so it may be good to owe the government money rather than use them as your none interest savings account…….

I had 2 deductions that I never changed after my kids grew up. Then I got hit with owing $560. I changed my deductions to 0. So they take more out, I don’t get big refunds but better than having to pay a huge sum. As for the yada yada about letting the govt us your money. I say horsefeathers. They have to keep a certain amount on hand to pay those refunds. So how is the govt using it? I don’t look at it as an interest savings account. I see it as keeping me from surprises like owing $560 at the end of the year.

Yep, I have actually started agreeing with just letting the liberal schmucks do what they want. THen, when everything collapses, outlaw anything related to government controlling anything and get this country fixed the right way. Make any comment or suggestion that even hints at government getting involved in domestic STATE affairs an act of treason punishable by death.

It has already started. As of two days ago 49 businesses have announced their layoffs — 24,767 so far. Businesses closing announced so far: 55.

We have a month and a half before all this crap kicks in on 2 Jan. Anyone with an IQ above minus 10 think it won’t get worse by then? Even worse is if they do not do something about the so called “Bush Tax Cuts” everyone in the middle class will be paying anywhere from $1,000 to $1,800 more in taxes each year.

According to current charts businesses who have 50 or more employees or have employees working 30 hours/week will have to pay $1.79 per hour for each and every employee. Add that up to 30 or 40 hours a week then times how many employees your company has. Can where you work afford that or will they cut down to below 30 hours or below 50 employees? Again Liberal Marxist Democrats are dancing in the streets. – more money for licking Obama’s bottom. Hope they are still happy when it all kicks in on 2 Jan.

The only reason unemployment claims went down right before the election is because the business community underestimated the stupidity of this country. Business owners couldn’t fathom the idea that America would EVER be so stupid as to re-elect Obama and they were so looking forward to a pro-business, pro-America Romney Presidency, that they relaxed and started hiring a little ahead of time. Now, reality of the rampant stupidity in this country has sunk in and businesses must hunker down for another 4 years of Obama. Now the layoffs will begin again for survivals sake.

Actually the September report dropped to 7.8% primarily because California did not report their numbers in time for that report. By the October report, we were back up to 7.9%. That number is likely going to climb to at least 8.5% by 1 Jan and be back in the 9% range next year.

Obama will create government jobs to take the place of the private sector and his marxist dream will be complete. Then will come Fascism. The Christians and Jews will be killed. Mysticism will take over as the”religion” but the muslims will begin to slaughter those who are seen as wizards. Bye bye feminists, gays, and welfare programs. Women will no longer be allowed to read and write. This is what you all voted for. Good luck. Just kidding. I don’t’ wish you luck. That is crazy wizard talk.

Everyone that complains about their new taxes next year & how they can’t get along, I will remind them that they voted for BHO so they can sit and spin.

Oh, one thing the media, Romney, or anyone else has ever asked BHO… “You say you cannot afford a tax break. Just so your little mind understands this in the proper perspective, tax dollars ARE NOT YOURS! They belong to the people that work for their wages. YOU steal them from Americans to fund your spending spree! You are not proposing an end to a tax cut, you are proposing a tax increase! Your grasp of economics demonstrates a level of ineptitude that borders on the imbecilic! And I mean that in a very caring way.”

The medical company that spends a lot on Obamas campaign is now anticipating laying off about 1000 workers. So, in essence they helped fund their own demise.

Second: I’m as ready as I can be after 5 years of preparing. And third: industrious and creative people have always found ways to make a living ….did not say money there since money is not a valuable possession (depression or good times, inflation or deflation), so I’ll be fine. Lastly: the Media will have to report the riots and looting so it will make for good TV. Bring it on !!

Kang and Old Guy have it right. You better be ready to protect what you have. Have things stashed in many places and bug out places to go that are stocked. Defending your home may not be possible depending on where you live. The thugs from the cities (NY, Boston, Cleveland, Detroit, Atlanta, Baltimore, Chicago, New Orleans, Miami, LA, SF, and ….) will be coming to the suburbs in roving gangs heavily armed. If you are not fortunate enought to live in very rural areas you are in serious trouble. Kang, your only issue is “sit back and watch the fun.” It will not be fun!
My family is to important to me to watch this show. We are trained and ready as can be for what is to come. Have gold,silver/barter items in reserve. BE PREPARED to be on your own as our grandparents were 75-100 years ago. Food, shelter, and living like they did. Hopefully you have some land you can raise crops on, some livestock, hogs, chickens, and more. A safe water supply or a purification process, wood for heating, medical supplies and this list just goes on and on.
And never ever forget you need the tools for protection because 911 won’t exist.

Just try and PRY THAT OBAMAPHONE from her fed/housed/clothed/polished hands and just SEE what happens!
I’m counting on History to repeat itself and riots will burn down their OWN dang neighborhoods. Only thing is-THIS time, there will be NO $$$ TO rebuild what they hath wrought. And Yes, THEN the City “folk” will branch out and scavange the Countryside.

The US will never be Europe. A large percentage of our citizens have a gene that fosters a pioneer spirit and risk taking, hence they LEFT and came here…leaving those without the gene to seek a blanket by the fire and a dole check delivered on Fridays in old cities all over europe. Our citizens with the gene may have been lulled to sleep but a sharp poke with the “loss of freedom” stick will wake them up. Wait til they find out nachos are outlawed or only electric cars are at the dealerships or FICA is 70% of their earnings and then….then they will not only howl but raise off that couch with firm grip on that 1911 or AR. I have every faith that Obama will raise our citizens (the ones with the gene from their fore fathers who created this republic) with his socialism stick in the next 4 years.
