Streaker Flees After Woman Pulls Gun on Him: ‘I’m Going to Blow Your Brains Out’

Woman at Lake Sacajawea Pulls Gun on Male Streaker

In a bizarre incident, a streaker took off running when a Washington state woman pulled out a gun and pointed it at him.

The Daily News reports that the 35-year-old Longview woman was at Lake Sacajawea Wednesday evening walking with her six-year-old son when a man approached her aggressively while masturbating and suggested she should watch him.

Instead, the woman produced her gun.

“I put the magazine in my gun. I cocked it,” she told The Daily News. “I said, ‘You need to leave or Ill shoot you. I’m going to blow your brains out.’”

That was apparently enough to warn the man away. Within seconds he fled the scene, proclaiming, “Oh, [expletive]!” As he ran, the woman sent her dog, a Norwegian Buhund Hound, after him. When the animal wasn’t able to catch him and the man disappeared into the darkness, she called the dog back.

As for her young son, the woman said that she told him to keep calm during the incident.

“I had him turn and face toward me. I stayed calm,” she explained. “I didn’t raise my voice. I don’t think he knew what was going on.”

Police are withholding the woman’s name. In an interesting twist, she also said that she never brings her gun, a Ruger .380, with her out on walks, but since it was dark and she had “a feeling” this particular night, she decided to.

Longview police detective Kyle Sahim says officers haven’t found the man Thursday evening but are investigating several suspects. He was described as a white, in his early 20s, with short dark-blond hair.

The Associated Press contributed to this report.

In CONTROL, Glenn Beck presents a passionate, fact-based case for guns that reveals why gun control isn’t really about controlling guns at all; it’s about controlling us. Find out more HERE.

To those saying she should have shot, you’re out of your mind. She used the appropriate amount of force to end the confrontation. If she had shot him she would be facing charges this morning.

Now as far as not carrying loaded, she needs training so she feels comfortable to do so. She’s lucky it was not an aggressive physical threat. She would have had no time.

Yeah I don’t know why she was carrying unloaded, but you’re right. The appropriate amount of force was used. Most times just the threat of deadly force is enough to end the assault.

In my state you can not carry a loaded weapon. Gun and ammunition have to be carried separately. Liberal logic.

That is the Ruger LCP, chambered for .380. Ruger also makes the LC9, which is 9mm. Both are easily concealable firearms. I really like my LC9.

She did exactly the right thing. Had she shot him, her son might have been traumatized. She defused the situation RESPOSIBLY and when the threat ran off, the problem was solved. She WAS, however, prepared to defend hreself and her son had the situation worsened. She would have used her weapon and rightly so.

She is a shining example of responsible carry laws and responsible gun ownership. She is to be commended. Has it been England or any other country where guns are prohibited, she more than likely would have been raped while her son would have had to witness the incident. Is this what you would want your child to witness?

She used exactly the right amount of force. Most times in an assault or attempted assault, just the mere presence of a firearm deescalates the situation and ends the encounter. I understand the DESIRE to take him out, but if she had she’d likely be charged with manslaughter. BUT! You can spell manslaughter without LAUGHTER!

Why should a sorry cowardly piece of slime like this be allowed to carry on? You notice it was a woman and little child he approached, not a man. Next he will go on to rape if he keeps getting away with such actions, and I sure don’t want it to be my little daughter.

I’d say that she should consider herself lucky. Had the streaker actually targeted her for an attack she never would have had time to insert the weapon’s magazine then put a round into battery. While I hope the cops explained this to her, and that she should seek some training. I’m surprised considering that this was Washington state, that she was not arrested.

“Streaker” ? Since when is a pervert masturbating in front of a woman and her young child a streaker? Call a spade a spade, this guy was a sexual predator who chose the wrong prey.Shame she didn’t knee cap him with a few rounds so he couldn’t assault anyone else. How sad is it that political correctness causes this predator to be called a “streaker” ?

I’m from Texas, so it gets dark a little after 6 pm, but in the northern reaches of the country, it gets dark around 4:30-5 pm. My first trip to Boston was in the middle of the winter. It was pitch black outside by 4:30. So if you want to do anything after work, more than likely it will be in the dark.

      Just food for thought.

I understand the desire to take him out, but she made the right call here. She was prepared to do so, and if he’d made a move toward her I’m sure she would have, but he ran.
