Arizona Gun Store Tells Obama Voters to ‘Turn Around and Leave’

An Arizona gun store has a simple message for Barack Obama voters: you’re not welcome here.

The Southwest Shooting Authority in Pinetop, Ariz. posted a sign on its door and took out a newspaper ad declaring that if you voted for the president last week, you’re not allowed in.

“If you voted for Obama, please turn around and leave! You have proven that you are not responsible enough to own a firearm!” the sign states.

Owner Cope Reynolds conceded that he can’t really tell who voted for Obama unless they “own up to it” — but if they do, they’re out.

“If they don’t say anything, we’ll never know,” Reynolds said in an email to the Phoenix New Times. “However, if they own up to it, we will not serve them.”

He said in an explanation on AmmoLand that he did it to “demonstrate once again that the bottom line for our business is principle, not money. Yes, it has been damaging at times but our values are intact.”

Reynolds told Fox News that as a small business owner, “If you are dumb enough to vote for Obama again – after four years of this — I don’t think you are responsible enough to own a firearm. I don’t care who it makes mad.”

He said he’s gotten support for his new policy from around the country — including one person who ordered hundreds of dollars worth of ammunition — but that there have also been lots of “vile, rude and hateful comments.”

“I hate it because my 17-year-old son answers the phone and they light into him,” Reynolds said. “They call us stupid rednecks and racist.”

Reynolds told Fox that no matter what happens, the sign is staying up.

“If we lose the whole business it doesn’t matter,” he said. “The bottom line is — my values.”

This guy is awesome! Now we got to get the GOP and RNC get start fighting! This election was stolen by voter fraud!!

The Republicans signed an agreement with the Democrats to NOT challenge voter fraud in 1981!!!
This is why no challenge to voter fraud. In live in Philly where there is voter fraud in most precincts. It is a sham. We need to get this info out and maybe start a different third party since the GOP and RNC are bound by this court ruling. This is huge news and we must get it out now!

To further confirm, he should ask to see their voter ID registration. The idiots that voted democrat are pro big government control & whether they realize or not are ushering in tyranny from the democrat party.

These stupid college kids thinking obama is on their side have not the slightest clue what the democrats intentions are & think all is hunky dory like its been in the past. People like obama are communist idealogs and want nothing but control over the people from cradle to grave.

Just got back from ‘The Nations Gun Show’ in Chantilly VA (by Dulles Airport) Love living in Virginia
      First moved here in ’02 when there was only 2 shows – ’08 it increased to 4 shows – 2010, ’11, ’12 up to 5 – Next year 6. http://www.thenationsgunshow.com/
This is just a few miles from home, and the bourse floor was PACKED as a lot were packin’. Private folks selling their weapons all over the place.
So packed it was shoulder to shoulder. I stopped by one booth and asked what was on the two empty pallets. 9mm and 45mm Sold Out!
If you are in the Dulles Airport area of Chantilly VA, stop in at the show. It runs through tomorrow.

      Hi DadRocked,

I used to live in Va. Back when Dulles Airport was being built we used to use the access road to test our motorcycles. There was a guy who did tune-ups there. Get your bike running at full speed and kill the engine. This guy would remove the spark plugs, look at them and help you do a tune up. I had the 1983 Moto Guzzi 850 LeMans III. Good times. : )

WoW. I love this guy! If the Republican Party had one tenth of the intestinal fortitude as this principled, no nonsense business owner we would not be feeling like we just went through a funeral for the USA. At the moment I have all the guns and ammo I will need for the coming Zombie Apocalypse. But when I do need to buy something, I will go online or pick up the phone and buy it from Cope Reynolds, no matter if I can find it cheaper somewhere else or not. It is the very least I can do! Cope, you are a brother!

It’s good for his son too. He will develop a thick skin and learn all about why the enemy is our enemy at the same time. I have been in the blog wars for what seems like forever. I’m completely done with them. They are quite insane and too despicable for words. I now feel like that when you wrestle with pigs you inevitably get **it on yourself and I feel dirty. The one takeaway I have from endless debating with Liberal nuts is that they pretty much all suck in every possible way. There are two kinds; the instigators and the followers. 99% are brainwashed idiots and the last 1% are simply evil. I think that sums it up. Let ‘em rot in hell. We’re going to do our own thing now.

      Hi DadRocked,

I remember when those came out. I was riding a 1976 Yamaha RD400C at that time. My friend was considering a Goldwing at that time but ended up with a BMW R75/5. The Guzzi 850 LeMans was terrible on long road trips. The seat was too hard. I did take it to the 1983 “Mash Bash” BMW event in Harrisburg Pa.(about 200 miles away) I was allowed in because my friend had the BMW and the Moto Guzzi 850 LeMans III was an eye-stopper at the time. I won the “slowest ride” event but was disqualified because it wasn’t a BMW. LOL

The store owner is a true American Patriot. College kids should not be allowed to vote unless they can correctly answer a couple basic questions about our government. The reason’s that bama was reelected was because of unions, government employee, engaged in welfare, color of skin and ignorance. bama voters created their own demise.

If this store has a website I have as of now become a life-time customer. It’s time that more people showed a little back-bone. We have just about lost our country to a bunch of Communists and you can hear the Crickets chirping, it disgusts me!

Allen West is now the only Republican I will ever support in any way, from now on. If the Republicans have decided to become the party of cowards then I want nothing to do with them. Obama won this election because it was stolen for him, but do you hear the GOP raising any hell over it? NO YOU DON’T. As far as I can tell, West is the only one forcing a complete recount of votes for his seat. The rest are in hiding.

Although the two links below look very similar they will take you to two different articles about how bad the cheating was in this election… in Obama’s favor of course. Why the GOP isn’t raising holy hell about this is mind boggling, so from now on…. NO MORE VOTES FOR THE GOP (Allen West the only exception).

      DADROCK,

Thanks for posting the info about the Chantilly gun show. It’s too bad that they turned one of the buildings into a Super Walmart. Otherwise, I’m quite sure the gun shows would fill up both halls. Fortunately, for me, I live a bit further out west – 17 miles from Fairfax, so we’re still about 60% Conservative voters. I was also re-districted out of Gerry Connolly’s district, and I’m freakin’ happy. Too bad the sucker won again, though.

I need to get some guns, hit the local ranges. It’s been 23+ years since I’ve fired a weapon (military). Then again, one didn’t really feel the need to own one in the era of Reagan, Bush Sr., etc. Nowadays, it’s pretty typical to own one, two or three – because we never know what Obama will do to our Constitution.

We already know GOP is worthless, the time is now to rid our nation of the GOP and put in place a conservative party. We are so deep in communist rule, you dont have time to wait on Bohner or any other GOPer to grow a set. Infiltrate your local Republican parties, vote out all RINOS and rid this nation of cowards. Now is the time, not SEP 2014 or SEP 2016. NOW IS THE TIME, or freedom will never come back. Just remember this commie in the WH gets to pick 3-4 SC positions. ONce that happpens there is only one way out! And DO you think the current GOPers are going to stop those picks? I’ll just go buy my guns elsewhere then, I never had anyone at the local sports store refuse to sell me guns because I was liberal, I am a multiple firearm owner. The conservatives at this site have a weird way of praising capitalism – don’t sell top people you don’t like and boycott everyone who shares even an infinitesimaly different view than you. That’s not a free market, that’s a stupid market – filled with biggots, racists and closed-minded fools.

There are hundreds of other gunshops anyone can go to, who is of any persuasion and buy a gun, that or they could just lie to get one. A sign like this accomplished nothing but making the owner of this store feel good about his rather obscure world view. But of course the weirdos here would praise anyone who did anything to the opposite of Obama, like the young lady who wished he was killed – and 90% of the comments were “I DONT GET WHY SHE WAS FIRED OR WHAT WAS WRONG THAT SHE SAID” Uh-huh… The commenters on this site are very, very sad people.

      RobbieTLHughie –
      - “I’ll just go buy my guns elsewhere then” OK, it’s that’s your option in OUR country.
      - “because I was liberal, I am a multiple firearm owner” Interesting combination, and I salute you fellow 2nd Amendment believer/practicer.
      - “don’t sell top people you don’t like and boycott everyone who shares even an infinitesimaly different view than you.” I understand you to say don’t sell to people and infinitesimally different view than you. Correct? I refer to the first line where it’s your option to go and buy where YOU want to.
      - “That’s not a free market, that’s a stupid market – filled with biggots, racists and closed-minded fools.” Now don’t go pointing a finger because, as grandma would say, ‘the other three fingers are pointing right back at you.’
      - “There are hundreds of other gunshops anyone can go to, who is of any persuasion and buy a gun, that or they could just lie to get one.” NOW YOU GET IT… THAT’s FREE ENTERPRISE!

Besides Grandma, another great American said, “Every government degenerates when trusted to the rulers of the people alone. The people themselves are its only safe depositories.” – Thomas Jefferson

In response to SonOfThunder, you are absolutely right regarding voter ID. I am 71 yrs. young and an ex pat and ex Floridian living in the DR. I have seen the deterioration of America for many years, and have warned against it for at least the last 15 years. Now it seems that the final straw might have taken place. As far as voter ID. Average income here is $6,500. Yet all must have a picture ID called a Cedula. On the back it says Vota or no Vota. Mine says No Vota as I am not a citizen yet but a legal resident. In 2 years I will be able to apply for citizenship. It takes 5 years unless you are starting a very well backed business. The Cedula costs $50 and is quite a burden on the 60% that are basically in poverty. Yet the last election a few months ago over 75% of the people voted. They take voting as a privilege and responsibility. I really upsets me when I see all the commotion about voter ID in the US and I would reckon to say it is from the “give me free stuff” population and the progressives that want to legalize all the illegals. What a sad situation.

Do not be mislead by liberals who say they’re firearms owners, and assume they are 2nd amendment supporters. They may be gun owners, they may be gun enthusiasts, but it is impossible for them to be 2nd amendment supporters. The believe guns should have a “legitimate sporting purpose”. They believe in big centralized all powerful govt. They naively trust the govt with everything. If the govt came to them and said “We want your guns, we’re banning them because they’re unsafe. I’m sorry, but you’ll have to find a new hobby” they would handily turn them over and say “Here ya go, govt knows best.” They like guns, but they’ll hand them over in a heartbeat if the govt said so. They’re the “gun owners” that anti-gunners say “Gun owners want these restrictions….”

shak4u: Eloquent. Well said and I agree 150%. This mess didn’t just happen in 2008. We are in a lot of trouble. It’s uncharted waters for us now and the water is polluted and stinks to high heaven. It is very sad. For our beloved country to be this ignorant and depraved is only surpassed by how much more so it is going to become in the near future. Compounding the tragedy is that the morons who are destroying the country are taking us down with them. I look forward to the massive crash which will either ‘cull’ or convert the idiot masses back to the land of sanity.

RobbieTLHughie: Bla, bla, bla. Heard it all before. You’re a name calling, clueless fool. You do that. You just go get your guns somewhere else. If you voted for Obama, you are part of the problem whether you understand it or not. All those people you have such disdain for are the salt of the earth and have more wisdom in their little pinky than you could ever even hope to conceive of. That’s just the way it is. The problem with people like you is that we all have to suffer for your bad judgment.

Please don’t blame all the college kids. There are many kids out there following in their parents footsteps with conservative values and principles. We need to teach our children in and/or out of school about economics, finances and principles. Our schools do not teach finance and it’s not a wonder “Obama Money” is considered free money.

When was the last time your local news station talked about a project waiting for funding from a government grant? When was the last time your school talked about where grant money comes from? When was the last time someone explained that grant money is tax money and since we have no money we are printing monopoly money to pay for these projects? or even worse borrowing from foreign countries……..

We teach children not to take candy from strangers we can teach them there is no such thing as “free” and hard work has it’s own rewards.

Well I will say the guy has balls and it is his right to voice his opinion at what ever cost , I am proud that we have the right to say what is on our minds and it is not always RACIAL or a HATE thing sometimes it is just a feeling that the person may feel he was done wrong or just plain disagrees with the other persons stance on a certain topic . I personally hate that people say it is racial any time they don’t get what they want or someone doesn’t go along with what they want it is so stupid , We will never get over this racial BS until we totally stop that crap and start being treated as equals and take the race and ethnic choices off all forms that way we can start being fair to each other .

      FROM SWSHOOTINGSUPPLY website

      On Sheep, Wolves and Sheepdogs

One Vietnam veteran, an old retired colonel, once said this to me: “Most of the people in our society are sheep. They are kind, gentle, productive creatures who can only hurt one another by accident.” This is true. Remember, the murder rate is six per 100,000 per year, and the aggravated assault rate is four per 1,000 per year. What this means is that the vast majority of Americans are not inclined to hurt one another…

“Then there are the wolves,” the old war veteran said, “and the wolves feed on the sheep without mercy.” Do you believe there are wolves out there who will feed on the flock without mercy? You better believe it. There are evil men in this world and they are capable of evil deeds. The moment you forget that or pretend it is not so, you become a sheep. There is no safety in denial.

“Then there are sheepdogs,” he went on, “and I’m a sheepdog. I live to protect the flock and confront the wolf.” Or, as a sign in one California law enforcement agency put it, “We intimidate those who intimidate others.”

SonOfThunder – - Regarding the link you posted to an article on why the RNC isn’t challenging the election results: I don’t see that the “consent decree” keeps the RNC from challenging election results. From what I’m reading in that article, it has to do with refraining from “messing” with voters the day of the election, but says nothing about challenging an election regarding voter fraud AFTER the election. So again, there is still NO ANSWER why the RNC won’t challenge this obviously bogus election. Can’t find any credible information anywhere and too bad that article turned out to be so far short of the actual truth. Sorry, it’s not “huge news” as you put it. A lot of hype in the article, but no substance/explanation as to why the election results are not challenged. Article is a fail.

Coming from a moderate liberal … and trying to be constructive.

Reading this article, and the comments, and pretty much everything else on the Blaze, it seems to me that many GOP supporters just don’t get it.

No, the election was not fraudulent and ‘stolen.’ No, it is not the case that Obama voters were mis-informed or ignorant of the issues. No, this was not a case of black panthers intimidating voters away from precincts.

The election was decided based on a broad platform of ideology. The Democratic ideology was, and continues to be more broadly popular than the Republican ideology. The majority of the population wants to be more accepting and more inclusive than the Republican party supports. The majority of the population supports gay marriage, safe abortion alternatives, and affordable healthcare. To make matters worse, the GOP nominated a candidate who, by anyone’s measure, could not easily identify with the issues affecting main street America.

I would hope that some of you would look at some other news outlets, at comments from Gov Jindhal. He seems to clearly see the picture and is suggesting changes to the GOP ideology. For some reason, the Blaze chooses not to publish these stories.

This is just another case of a person who watches nothing but Fox News being so misinformed and uninformed. He talks about another four years of “this.” The “this” he’s talking about is an increase in employment and crude oil production, a doubling of the stock market from its March 2009 low, a decrease in the rate of increase in the national debt, a drastic drop in the number of lives lost in the Middle East and now Osama bin Laden is resting on the bottom of the deep blue sea. I, and over 50 million other people, felt this was a pretty good record to run on and that is why Obama was reelected.

This why you fool are called GOOBERS, Hypocrites & Bottom Feeders.
The Dick Cheney hunting incident occurred on February 11, 2006, when then U.S. Vice President Dick Cheney shot Harry Whittington, a 78-year-old Texas attorney, while participating in a quail hunt on a ranch in Kenedy County, Texas.[1] Both Cheney and Whittington call the incident an accident.

First public news of the incident was called in to the Corpus Christi Caller-Times on February 12, 2006, by ranch owner Katharine Armstrong.[2] The Bush administration disclosed the shooting incident to the public the afternoon of February 12. Local authorities released a report on the shooting on February 16, 2006 and witness statements on February 22.

On February 14, 2006, Whittington suffered a non-fatal “silent” heart attack and atrial fibrillation due to at least one lead-shot pellet lodged in or near his heart.[3] Cheney did not speak publicly about the incident until February 15 in an interview with Fox News. Early reports indicated that Cheney and Whittington were friends and that the injuries were minor. Whittington has since told the Washington Post that he and Cheney were not close friends but acquaintances and has not said if Cheney apologized.[4]

If you think Frederick Douglass would have anything to do with today’s Republicans you are grossly mistaken. Let me give you a Douglass quote:

“[Y]our national greatness, swelling vanity; your denunciation of tyrants, brass-fronted impudence; your shouts of liberty and equality, hollow mockery; your prayers and hymns, your sermons and thanksgivings, with all your religious parade and solemnity, are, to Him, mere bombast, fraud, deception, impiety, and hypocrisy — a thin veil to cover up crimes which would disgrace a nation of savages.” Frederick Douglass

This is what Douglass thought of the flag waving phonies like tea partiers. Especially the red state southerners. The racists from the democratic party switched to the Republican party when LBJ signed the Civil Rights Act. You disrespect a great man using his name. You are the kind of person he would despise.

Im a Christian and don’t believe in evolution, but some of the liberals believes that we evolved from monkeys. Well, if thats true; then it sounds to me they have not completely evolved. All they do is going around beating on their chest and scream and holler a bunch of vile language. So, I admire Mr. Reynolds for his values and pray that people will follow. God Bless his family.

A gun caring liberal? I don’t think so and if they are, The gun should be taken away due to poor judgement on other matters. A gun in the hands of someone who actively supports abortion; obviously has no respect for life , therefore should not be allowed to carry. A firearm should ONLY be own by a responsible individual who respect life and would only use the weapon for protection against the nuts in this country…….ergo, the idiots that will soon forage food food when the bama money runs out!

Stand up to the dictator-in-chief and to his handlers/controllers/owners.

Anyone calling our house about dictatorshipcare will receive this response: (*&*R%^$% Followed by “read my lips: I WILL NOT COMPLY.”

We are seriously, SERIOUSLY, considering NOT PAYING OUR taxes this coming year, or perhaps for the next three as well. Just think: if we don’t pay taxes, where will the left get the money to pay their help????? It just isn’t there if we don’t supply it, is it? Since they stole the election, I believe we are within our CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHTS not to support an illegal government.

Thing is, the Dems have convinced half of the country that the conservatives are out to do everything the libs are are actually doing. They’re brainwashed into believing–with all their heart–that we are the evil ones trying to destroy the country and the libs are fighting to SAVE it. (brings to mind something I read once about ‘when evil is said to be good and good is said to be evil’ in some old dusty book)

With the deck so stacked against us (a majority of higher education has been pushing the communist agenda for one hundred years … the few conservative media outlets promoting the truth can only “preach to the choir” … half of the country never gets exposed to the truth … those of us who try to spread the truth are systematically mocked, ridiculed and “publicly executed” as liars and racists by the full power of the mainstream media, government authorities & leftist-bots) I’m not sure how we turn this around.

The only thing I can suggest is this: support Glenn Beck’s BLAZE network. Subscribe. And, recruit everyone you know to do the same. Hopefully they’ll tell 2 people…and so on…

I also know that I am not the only one who lost a few friends over this last election. It’s time to make some NEW ones: Join FreedomWorks! (it’s free)

Agree with everything you said ROCKYMOUNTIANPATRIOT – I am just stunned at the stupidity of the so-called evangelicals who can’t even vote The Biblical Agenda; it was so clear a distinction. Yah hates murder of the unborn and hates the destroying of the biblical defined family – that should have been enough. They have the numbers if they came out as a unified block to set and control the agenda in this country, but they seem incapable of discerning the depth of evil in the current regime – small wonder since Hebrews says only to those that have the strong MEAT of the Word can they exercise their senses to discern good from evil – all these seeker friendly, mega-churches with milky pablum and programs are a big part of the problem:
Anyone who has not seen this needs to watch it and realize just what we are fighting:

      @YahshuaRules,
That’s because most churches are under 501(c)3 laws which yanks their tax status if they get caught going political, most pastors were not called to the ministry, and do not comprehend that to be a true follower you cannot have peace with the world.

That sounds like a racist Christianophobic response, Keaton. I don’t give to any organization where I don’t believe the money is properly spent. I only donate to friends, neighbors and people I know genuinely need help. If you want to give these organizations, go ahead. There is no such things as forced charity. That is called stealing.

      Sadly, you’re correct.

I can see a little IRS “scrutiny” in this man’s future. Even worse would be if the ATF decided to review his gun dealership licenses, along with the the Dept. of Homeland Security. They could keep his license (and ability to sell), in limbo and under review for a year or more. Long enough to drive him completely out of business.

      Hi DadRocked,

Back in the 70′s my best friends older brother owned two. Since you are from Va you might know about the telegraph lines area. We used to go there and some other places to shot. Hunters Haven in Old Town Alexandria had the best prices on 7.62 Lapua back then. And yes, both were full auto. : )

I liked playing kick the can up the hill… single shot. As the can was shot up-the-hill I’d move up higher on the opposite hill. Nice target practice and the distance kept getting further away.

Not anymore pal! It’s all developed… To do that you either go north toward the WV border or west to Louden County or south of Springfield. Otherwise most all is residential.
We’re talking about moving out to the area of Harper’s Ferry or west toward north of Winchester.
Here they have NO clue of what the rest of the country is in. 64% have Bachelors or higher degrees, a 6.3% unemployment (almost all white collar work), 3BR Townhouse goes for $360k and that’s just here in the Dulles Airport region. Higher toward the district.
