Allen West’s Challenger Declares Victory After Election Officials Miss Reporting Deadline

Democrat Patrick Murphy declared victory over Republican Rep. Allen West in the battle for Florida’s 18th district congressional race Sunday after election officials missed a noon deadline to file recount results.

St. Lucie County did not meet the cutoff to finish processing the 37,379 early ballots as required, the Palm Beach Post reported:

Under Florida law, the final certified results were due from all of the state’s 67 supervisors of elections today. If the results do not arrive on time, the certified unofficial results submitted last Sunday stand. Those results have Murphy winning by 0.58 percent. A spread of less than 0.5 percent would have triggered an automatic recount.

“Today at noon, it became clear Patrick Murphy will be officially certified as the next congressman from the 18th Congressional District,” Anthony Kusich, Murphy for Congressman campaign manager, said in a prepared statement issued around 12:40 p.m. “The voters have spoken and Patrick Murphy is once again the clear winner. It is beyond time to put this campaign behind us and put the interests of the people of the Treasure Coast and Palm Beaches first.”

“All Patrick Murphy wanted was to follow the law,” said attorney Gerald Richman, a member of Murphy’s legal team. “They absolutely missed it (deadline). Whatever it is, it is. We just want the law to be followed.”

But West’s campaign vowed the fight wasn’t over yet. The South Florida Sun-Sentinel reported:

“They did this recount because they weren’t confident in the outcome,” said West campaign manager Tim Edson. “Now, because they missed the deadline, we’re not going to know whether they were right in their concern or not.”

Edson said the incumbent’s campaign was looking at what could be done to possibly extend the deadline and suggested the fight was not yet over. “We’ll continue with all legal options that are available,” he said.

  Just tells me more and more that we don’t live in a republic anymore. We have communist disguised as Democrats rigging elections. The “election officials” umm, “overslept” and missed the deadline. Who’s fault is that that they missed it? Certainly not Allen West’s fault. So he is being penalized for some other goons mistakes. I think it’s time the US breaks apart into 3 separate nations. The two coasts being their own country and the rest of the US, the US. Run the Marxists into the two coasts nations to live in.

  If I understand correctly, the people who might have screwed up the ballots, were responsible for not screwing up and missing the reporting deadline, which would make the recount a moot point and let the previous counts stand. Either way West gets screwed.

  This from West’s campaign manager– as quoted in the Palm Beach Post.
  
  Got this info off “The Right Scoop” along with many more details about how this all went down.
  C’mon BLAZE! Stop trying to judge what info you should get out there and what you should withhold.

  Voter fraud is possibly what won the presidential election. I worked the polls in two locations in Ohio and people were coming in to vote and being told they had already voted absentee. At one location, but not the other college age kids were coming in wanting to vote without proper ID. One girl said “I’m a student at the art school, but I can’t afford a student ID”. She was allowed a provisional ballot all the same. No drivers license, no student ID. Between Cincinnati, Columbus, and Cleveland I wouldn’t be surprised if a full 5% of Oblamers votes were fraudulent. He won Ohio by less than half that.

  Mark me down as 100% supportive of Allen West’s fight for transparent and accurate results and accountability!!! I’m a few states away, but still donated several times to his campaign. I hope that anyone in a position to contribute now DOES. He is a supreme patriot! I pray for a West victory here. Please join me in that!   Did Beck ever reveal which 2 networks were with-holding evidence from Bengahzi. He said he would expose them right? I like him, but I’m beginning to think Beck is full of hot air. it’s looking more & more like he’s concerned more about his show than the truth.
  
  During his show in the morning drive time, its like 10 min of Beck and 15 min of local lame stream news kissing obama’s ass, then 5 min of Beck and another 15 min of local yokels advertismenst trying to talk people out of their hard earned $$ and still kissing obumbles ass.. Oh and also a wrong weather forecast for the area. These local news idiots make me laugh. Today the fake boobed weather chick had on a hideous mini skirt with the knee high boots high heels like she was in alaska. She looked like a tramp on 42 St in NYC.

  I hope you will all join me tonight in saying a prayer for the election of Allen West regardless of your religion or denomination. Allen West is a true patriot and it is obvious that this election was stolen from him by voter fraud. He’s been one of the few to hold a gun to the heads of the communists and jihadists in our government – so to speak – and hold them to account. Americans do not love communists or jihadists so ipso facto he could not have lost a legitimate election.
  
  As they did with the so called Obama election, this is voter fraud and election official incontinence pure and simple.

  SendTheMeteors: He has not held anyone accountable nor has he been held accountable for the accusations he made. All he has done is make a vague claim that there are 80 communists in the democratic party. That is all. He did not back up his claim with any evidence or even name a single name. If that claim were true, and he did nothing about it, then he betrayed the American people and is complicit. If that claim is untrue, which obviously it is, then he is a liar and has not business in office.
  
  And he did not hold a gun to the heads of communists and jihadists. He literally held a gun to the head of an innocent Iraqi police officer, had him beaten by four soldiers from the 2/20th Field Artillery Battalion on the head and body, fired his pistol near his head. This resulted in getting “meaningless information induced by fear and pain” and “no plans for attacks or weapons were found. West even admitted “At the time I had to base my decision on the intelligence I received. It’s possible that I was wrong about Mr. Hamoodi.”
  
  He is a disgrace to the uniform and this country, a sore-loser, a liar and a cry-baby. I hope he digs in his heels even further. The sight of him being forcibly removed from office by armed escort will be something I look forward to.

  It is clear to me that Glenn Beck has decided not to report on voter fraud. Before the elections he devoted time and resources to educating his public all about voter fraud– and now…. silence. This story as told here is merely symbolic– there is so much more info out there– his staff MUST know….
  I don’t care why he has decided not to “go there.”
  The day before the election, all whipped up into action, secure in the knowledge of who Obama is, who Romney is– millions of listeners knowing the truth. Now: –oops, we were all wrong about everything. Elections went off without a hitch, Republicans were all wrong, and there was no voter fraud to speak of– except Allen West, and the details there are not important either….
  Am I exaggerating?
  “The truth has no agenda”, but we sure are going to decide which truths you hear….

  I agree with your comments. Did the SOE and County doing the ballot counts delay on purpose? Probably. The Florida state auditors found a lot of problems with the election in general. I hope Allen fights on. I am tired of seeing Democrats winning elections based on fraudulent activities.

I agree with TEAMMOMMY’s comment: We must not give up hope! GOD IS FAITHFUL, JUST and TRUE. HE WILL WIN. Our vision is so limited here. If we could see with our spiritual eyes, we would understand the glee of satan and his nasty, shaggy a** buddies as they rejoice at our demoralization, sadness and shame. Don’t give them the satisfaction! FIGHT with all you’ve got from the inside, out!

I would add to Romans 8:28, II Timothy 1:7, I Thessalonians 5:16-23, Ephesians 6:10-20, Galatians 6:6-10 and Genesis 50:20! If GOD is waking us up all through the night, I suspect it is to pray before HIM for us, for HIS will, for our world.

Time is short. Eternity, not so much.

PRAY FOR THE GOOD MEN AND WOMEN WHO FOLLOW GOD to stand up and take the lead. It is time (or near bout) to tread down the enemy of old. The enemy in this story is represented by the challenger to Allen West and all the people soul-ed out to satan. The lines were drawn in the HEAVENS when satan started all this s***. A review of each states election process needs to be done to ensure integrity. I think in circles with a dark pen and electronically recorded is the best method. We shouldn’t even consider moving the voting process to the Internet, talk about fraud potential. The electronic recording machines need to be certified and tested before and after the last ballot is counted. Random manual counts should be required to check that the electronic count is the same as manual counts. Get rid of the electorates and eliminate polls. Stop segregating voting by groups of people, the hispanic vote, the woman vote, gay vote, undecided, etc……..We are all Americans and this only divides us further. I would prefer an election result of accuracy and knowing the full results two days later as opposed to all the descrepancies we are hearing about today. We need to get back to the basics, we need to remember government isn’t our god and admit there’s a higher authority that folks are increasingly forgetting. We are a society in trouble, “keep up the good work Allen Wests, you have the right to do what you are doing and you are a true American exercising your rights.” I hope folks realize this and don’t listen to the downplay that’s its all about politics. The politics being played right now demand accountability on how the election results ended in Florida. WE WANT ACCOUNTABILITY!

  As a citizen in this azz-backward county, I concur.
  Again it seems so convenient that the “election officials” could not/would not submit the results on time.
  Because they were “worried” about the alarm system at the SOE office??
  Really? REALLY?? You mean to tell Me that between all of the officials on hand, none of them knew enough to call the alarm company to delay the alarm,(it could be done over the phone).
  
  As I have said before…pathetic…just PATHETIC…
  
  Well I guess it is time to move to Indian River county now, I don’t think I can stand it here one more day.

They did this on PURPOSE….
LAST night they said they had to “Stop the recount” when there were ONLY 30 ballots LEFT…Their excuse was that the EMPTY MALL they were using..had an alarm system that would automatically go on at 11pm….HOWEVER the night of Election…they were in the SAME MALL until AFTER 2AM…When asked about that..they had NO ANSWER….

THIS MORNING….they used TWO machines out of the 80 they had to “Talley the votes” ONE of those machines was “Broken” …..

There was ALSO one precinct that had 9 REGISTERED VOTERS, yet it had OVER 900 votes CAST there…This FRAUD and CORRUPTION HAS GOT TO be brought OUT and we HAVE TO STOP IT!!!! HERE is the mail address of the GOV of FL..SEND him a mail and tell him we are FED UP with this!!!

If a full and accurate recount showed conclusively that there were hundreds or thousands of “miscounted” votes, how on earth would they ever explain the discrepency? Just like the Benghazi fiasco, the dems focus is CYA at all cost and to hell with honesty and integrity.

St Lucie County and the State of Flordia are absolutely corrupt; the Sec. of State should either defend these actions or resign. Allen West should sue FL and take this all the way to the US Supreme Court. If Eric Holder will not investigate fraud in FL or any state, then, He should resign or Congress should vote for his removal. This behavior needs to be corrected. These folks need to go to prison for how they are not following Election Laws, state and federal.

The President isn’t doing anything to clean up election enforcement; therefore, he must be afraid that the evidence will show that his friends stole the election for him. It is time for reform, Mr. Speaker of the House! Do you think Nancy would not act if it was one of her party? No, she has the big gavel. Two more years and this mess begins again with no one in Congress addressing these election problems. No wonder citizens want to leave this country; the country has left them!

  If Liberals are such racists, why in this same election did we elect the first Asian and Buddhist to the Senate and the first Hindu in Congress to replace her in the House? Oh, and we returned the first Muslim to his seat and we returned the first Black President to the White House. We’re racists because one man, elected on the Tea wave was swept back out of office, like about ten others? In the meantime, the Republican Party has fewer women and minority members than it had before. Republicans won in several Districts in Florida, but those areas are farther north. The program they used to upload the results to Tallahassee crashed, and the Dem controlled St Lucie office stalled to stop the data from being uploaded. There were 900 votes cast in a county with 7 registered voters. That is utterly insane.

He will take this Obama election and make it work for all good. Perhaps if Mitt had been elected, he would have swept Benghazi under the rug to spare humiliation to a defeated Prez.
