‘Real News:’ GOP Pushes for Susan Rice to Elaborate on her Initial Remarks After the Benghazi Attack

Friday’s testimony by former CIA chief David Petraeus put renewed scrutiny on the talking points delivered by U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Susan Rice following the September 11 Benghazi attacks on a U.S. consulate. On Friday, Petraeus reportedly said that the CIA knew right away what happened in Benghazi was a terror attack. This revelation contradicts the statements made by Rice on several Sunday news talk shows in the weeks following the attack where she said what happened was a protest to an amateur Youtube film insulting Islam. Many Republicans questioned Rice’s statements when they were first made, and now with the latest testimony from Petraeus, Republicans are calling for Rice to testify on the talking points which she is yet to repudiate.

On “Real News” Monday the panel discussed Rice’s remarks, and whether it is possible that information and talking poins given to her from intelligence agencies regarding Benghazi was amended for political reasons before she went in front of the American people on television.  The panel also discussed the questionable motivations of President Barack Obama in his vociferous defense of Rice, and rumors circulating that she is his top pick to be the next secretary of state. Is the president attempting to incite the GOP with her nomination that could come at the expense of security?

    Susan Rice is a LIAR and a total imbecile . She made statements that were a lie and she had to know this. What is she doing as the Ambassador to the UN.. Send her to Iceland.

    Are any of you awake at the Blaze???? —-Susan Rice is NOT the story ——-”WHO — TOLD THE — HELP– to –STAND DOWN” — that is the question —–not Susan Rice and her talking points —— We have 4 dead people because someone told our forces —-NOT to send help. NOTHING ELSE MATTERS. DID THIS WHITE HOUSE MURDER 4 PEOPLE?

      Our UN ambassador comes on 5 shows and lies blatantly to we the people concern the death of our people being caused by some cartoonist video, which by the way held truths about Mohammad, while knowing early on that it was a terrorist attack????????? And you losing it about the story!

      It is about everyone involved in those involved, especially Rice who is up to take Clinton’s position talking to the world about America’s policies and tell us what?????? “No that was not a nuke headed for the US, it is simply Santa making a test run in his new Green sled” ….. Those who blatantly lie to us, going out of there way to do so must be stopped…. as well as all those involved in this lying mess after American blood has been shed…

    Susan Rice has no patriotism only politics in her Blood not humanity or a code of honor .
    We will always complete the Mission to the Best of our Ability.
    We will Never Surrender.
    We will Never leave a Soldier behind.
    An attack on any one of us is an attack on us all

    They Watched the Murder of Men that protect America and The Flag that stands for our Courage and Blood of the Great red,white and blue .

    Hillary Clinton stood in front of the Mothers and Family”s of these brave men and told them she would make sure the Film Makers is punished for this..

    were is her Honor and patriotism and the oath she took as a speaker of America ?

    Obama done painted her as the face of assassination and cover up. Now how are the rest of his friends feeling about that. By the end of a second term he will have to start answering for himself, he will be the only one left.
