NBC Reporter Criticizes U.S. for Not Sitting Down Designated Terrorist Organization Hamas, Failing to Rein in Israel

Discussing the ongoing Isreali-Palestinian conflict on MSNBC’s “NOW With Alex Wagner” on Tuesday, NBC News reporter Ayman Mohyeldin left his journalistic objectivity at the door and harshly criticized the U.S. government for not recognizing Hamas, a designated terrorist organization, and failing to “rein in Israel.”

“The United States can definitely play a pivotal role,” Mohyeldin said. “I don’t think that people in this part of the world feel it has played the role it should be playing and that really comes down to two very important factors: one, the United States does not have any direct contact with the Palestinian factions which it and Israel and others label as terrorist organizations, despite the fact that Hamas did win democratic elections here, despite the fact it is a part of the fabric of Palestinian politics that simply cannot be ignored or isolated or marginalized.”

He continued: “They have focused on the Palestinian Authority in the West Bank. That hasn’t necessarily produced tangible results. So, there’s a lot of problems in terms of getting everyone on the same table.”

The NBC “reporter” then criticized the United States because it has yet to “rein in Israel in terms of some of the actions it takes on the ground.”

“When it comes to Israeli expansion in the West Bank, it hasn’t stopped despite the fact that the U.S. opposes that policy,” he added. “People in this part of the world will say very simply, well how can the U.S., which gives so much money to Israel, not stop it from doing something against U.S. interests, which is a two-state solution.”

The Jews were not attempting to hurt the Palestinians by being successful. They were trying to live! By contrast, what have the Gaza residents produced? One notable achievement (recorded on many YouTube videos) is “Suicide Kindergarten.” Here the children are taught to hate with a purpose. They wear green headbands, carry pictures of buildings they plan to destroy, and learn the indoctrination of life-long hatred. Why? Has this improved their lives even a bit?
Now, if the rockets from Gaza were landing in your neighborhood, would you blame yourself? Would you allow it, even for one day? In the last four years more than 8,000 rockets have been used by terrorists in Gaza to attack Israel. Do you really think that this is not bigotry in action? Many Arabs live in Israel (proper) and yet they do not hate the Jews, nor are they persecuted by Jews. This report is true. Do you wish to argue with truth, or do you insist on remaining true to the indoctrination you have learned in public education? Life is all about choices!

  Also not mentioned–this reporter is an Arab American who’s mother is Palestinian. He worked for Al Jazeera then CNN. No bias there. If he is so concerned, may I suggest he STAY there. Enough of these liars, and to let this man stand and distort the facts based on his own heritage earns NBC the bias award of the decade. It would be politically incorrect to tell your modern sensitive ears the truth of ancient Israel’s disobedience in dealing with the inhabitants of the land (today) called Palestine. So, this narrative will not disclose the details of how Israel did NOT follow God’s plan. Consequently, Israel was never at peace in the land the Lord gave to be their homeland. And, when their sins caused the destruction of ancient Israel in 70 AD, the peoples not deported by Rome took over, and remained there for the interim 1,877 years until the United Nations proposed the creation of Israel in 1947. At which time, they had to share the land with the newly-arriving Jews.
In 1948, at the beginning of the present Jewish state, there was little of “modern” civilization left in that region. The Jews have subsequently constructed a modern society where today, there exists leading research in science, medicine, and agriculture, as well as the arts. What does Gaza look like? Did Jews stop them from development? Were they initially kept in fenced-off areas, separate from Israel? NO!

In 1945, there was no “modern” Israel. There were Jews in Palestine (always had been) in small numbers. In ancient times (Between 4,000 BC and 70 AD) there were millions of Jews in Palestine. In 70 AD, the Romans took over Jerusalem, destroying the temple, and deporting the Jews who were in rebellion to Rome.
The Bible records much of this ancient history, including the promises of God to Abraham, regarding this land. Israel (today) is but a tiny sliver of its original size. Originally, it encompassed the Sinai, Gaza, the West Bank of Jordan, and parts of modern Lebanon, as well as parts of modern Syria. The Bible explanation for this ancient “shrink” and subsequent dispersion of Jews to all corners of the earth? Answer: sin! Of course, all of this narrative is carefully recorded in the pages of the Bible. Basically, the Bible tells us that sin always leads to destruction, and yes: death.

It’s not fair! This fellow traveler from NBC is right. We need to help Hamas kill their sworn enemies, not make it more difficult. After all, who can name a Jew that ever did anything for the world? Scientists? Doctors? Teachers? Scholars? Authors? Inventors? No Jews on any of those lists!

  That wasn’t a sidestep. I personally know over a dozen Jews from the former Soviet union and all of them have stories about the persecution they suffered. The Jews who joined the Bolsheviks rejected their Jewish identity entirely and saw those who retained such an identity as obstacles to their goal of eliminating that which, in their opinion, had been the cause of all their suffering at the hands of non-Jews. The fact they were born Jewish is about as relevant as Polosi being Catholic.

Israel and republicans are the Cinderella child of the world. If something goes wrong, just blame them. Sort of like the ugly sisters in Cinderella got all the attention, praise and opportunities. We give the muslim nations preferred status when in fact they are the trouble makers forcing themselves on others.
We run to their aide and blame Israel. Turkey calling Israel a terrorist nation is sickening and our Pres and SOS just let it go by. What a disgrace.
The how dare you say anything about a black person or a woman. You get called a racist woman hater.

israel is dealing with a bunch of demented morans in this government and news crews that support them. i hope israel kills them all and i hope hamas rocket lands on the dome of the rock and blows it off the land. in the old testament when God told israel to go kill them all from oldest to youngest God had to do that to get rid of the evil. same is true here they hate israel from the time they can talk. the evil needs to be elimited.

The US cannot Reign in Israel because it IS a democratic republic. The US cannot rein in Israel because they are not at fault. The US should not recognize a terrorist state controlled Islamic stronghold until they recognize that they cannot reign in Israel either.

Israel is a sovereign nation – The United States has no power to ‘reign in Israel’. Israel must, and will, continue to do whatever is necessary to protect itself from the palestinian/muslim terrorists, even if obama and his anti-Israel cabal don’t like it.

So which is it, should the US mind its own business when it comes to other countries like Afghanistan and Iran or do we stick our nose in to foreign affairs and be the world police in the case of Israel? Libs want it both ways…they can’t stand to see Muslims suffer consequences…Jews on the other hand…that’s just fine. Wouldn’t mind seeing some friendly fire hit a few reporters in the field, at least the news would be more interesting. It would give a whole new meaning to, “If it bleeds it leads.”
