Member of Iran’s Parliament: We Are ‘Proud’ to Supply Hamas With Rockets to Use Against Israel

On Monday, TheBlaze revealed that an Iranian freighter carrying a cargo of short and long-range Fajr-5 rockets was bound for Gaza. Of course, it is no surprise that Iran has been supplying Hamas with the weapons and missiles the Islamic jihadist group has used against Israel. On Wednesday, in the wake of a newly announced cease-fire between Israel and Hamas-controlled Gaza, a member of Iran’s parliament, or Majlis, Ali Larijani, proclaimed how proud Iran is in providing military assistance to Hamas.

In an address to MPs during an anti-Israel demonstration, the Iranian Parliament member oozed with pride and pledged to continue supplying Hamas with weapons to use against the Jewish State:

“We are proud that our assistance was material and military in nature.”

“The Palestinian people do not need speeches and meetings, rather they are in need of a serious support. If countries want to be proud, they should provide military assistance to the Palestinian people,” he added.

Further, Palestinian Islamic Jihad leaders also admit missiles fired from Gaza come from Iran. MEMRI provides the translation from remarks made by Palestinian Islamic Jihad leader Ramadhan Abdallah Shalah in a November 20 interview:

“With regard to the Iranian position – even if we have disagreements with Iran regarding the situation in Syria, I don’t think that we, as the Palestinian resistance, have disagreements with Iran regarding what is happening in Palestine, or regarding the Zionist aggression against the Gaza Strip. With regard to Palestine, we are in complete agreement with Iran. Iran has given us all the aid and all the support. The weapons that are fighting the Israeli aggression and arrogance in Palestine come mainly from Iran, as the entire world knows. This is no secret. These are either Iranian weapons or weapons financed by Iran.” [...]

I can not believe any american can not see the palistnians as good people that we can trust and have a diolog with. They are barbarians and I feel sorry for the Israelis that have to live next door to people that continuelly try to kill them. The american people are fed a bunch of crap from the media and they think it is the truth. Israel is not the agressor they have not occuilencepied the areas that they could take by force. They have never said that they want to kill every one of their adversaries like iran has said over and over. You have been taught the from the liberal teachers that it is all israels fault that they are being attacked, rocketed, suicide bombers. I am new here but I realize that there is usually a lone voice in the forest, that voice is usually ridiculed and discredited in the easiest way, the intellectual left can not dispute the facts so they destroy the messenger, Mr. Beck please continue to be that lone voice, I am 31 and feel my generation is sadly lost except in small towns. We the people still exist, we go to small diners on Saturday to discuss Friday’s High School Football game, we save seats for each other on Sunday at Church. We The People exist, we may be ignored but we are here and you speak for us, as a dually elected Congress will not. Let not your hearts despair, all is not lost yet, upon the strong young arms a rebellion may still exist, those of us responsible and cognizant of the history of this wonderful Republic may still rise up, but it will be among those that the liberal elite scoff at, I may have an accent but it does not dull my mind or actions, so continue to perceive me as mentally weak or a silly anachronism, but in times of need and desperation we are the young men you look to to bail out your rich sons who were raised as women.

  These political wars began under Truman, not Clinton. They’ve exploded in the closing years of the 20th century. Wars are expensive. Wars bankrupt nations. We are not an exception. The cease fire will last only a short time. After that, I expect Israel to go full bore and flatten Iran. It’s their only hope. Never trust a muslim agreeing to stop anything. Isn’t their motto “FORWARD”?
