’1,462 Bags’: Watch Crazy Utah Trio Attempt Epic Leap Into ‘World’s Biggest Pile of Leaves’

Utah Trio Attempt Epic Leap Into Worlds Biggest Pile of Leaves | Logan | Bangakang

News.com.au:

WELCOME to Logan, Utah, where it seems there’s not a lot else to do but leap off buildings onto massive piles of leaves.

Logan is also the scene of one of the latest organised viral videos to hit our screens.

We have to say, however, for a group of pranksters these guys have planned out this stunt meticulously.

Huffington Post:

These buddies went to great lengths to form a ginormous leaf pile — including renting a large moving van to bring 1,000 bags of leaves to a house.

The leaf pile stands a whopping 17 feet tall and 60 feet around. And it does get shorter with each person that jumps onto it from the rooftop above.

    Looks like fun.

However, the practical side of me thinks that raking up and disposing of all those leaves will really SUCK!!

The county had a big sand pile next to the road when I was a kid in northern MN. We used to get on top and see how far down the side we could jump. It was all going well until one of our friends who hadn’t been on the pile before decided to jump off the other side. He didn’t know that the county had taken some of the sand for a construction job and that side of the pile went straight down. Lucky for him there was still some sand at the bottom and all he did was knock the wind out of himself. We laughed so hard our sides hurt. He was a bit pissed but what the heck. It was funny to us at the time.

I had to look twice to see if that was my kids…. ‘Specially since my Go-Pro Camera came up missing for three days and this is the the typical stunt the would pull…Better than when I found vids of them showing “hit,tuck,roll.. actually works off a roof while doing Parkay.. I mean parkor or what ever they called it. Just goes to show there are still good kids in the next generation.

Must be the most exciting thing in Logan! Nice to see that young people can still have fun without causing trouble. I’ll assume it might have something to do with their faith. Just a wild guess.

Nah! we use to do the same off the upper loft of the barn into piles of hay when we were young. We took rolling dives into the hay. Being bored could be the problem.

Who says Mormons don’t get High….HIGH ON THE ROOF!

I jump off my roof all the time. I use to jump from the rafters in the warehouse I use to work at and land on solid concrete.

It hurt every time I did it…but the rushing wind and the shock of adrenaline was worth it.

13 to 20 ft jumps. :) My landing had two parts. My Legs take most resistance, My Arms take the rest of the shock my legs won’t handle.

I done a 20 ft jump without using arms…so I used my butt as a substitute. I have done a few jumps of 15-18 ft with both legs & one arm or no arms….solid concrete.

Never done a flip jump that didn’t nearly hospitalize me.

Ya know that Nietzsche said: “That which does not kill me makes me stronger”, right?
Do you also know that Nietzsche was often wrong, right?

“Ya know that Nietzsche said: “That which does not kill me makes me stronger”, right?
Do you also know that Nietzsche was often wrong, right?”

Your veiled insult…over my roof jumping….really? Was it necessary to quote a Nihilist?

I probably know more about him than you.
How is anything of what we do strength or the building of strength except the continuous exercise of Faith?
And Nietzsche didn’t create that phrase. Many have said similar things before him.

My landing technique is perfect btw. It’s better than stupid rolls that require horizontal momentum….more likely to injure yourself. How would I know? By learning from my free-running mistakes.

All failures are mine…meaning….I’m not an Obama supporter….cuz I don’t believe that Government gave me what I have or anyone else for that matter.

      It’s called personal responsibility.

Wow you’re an idiot and a bully at that. How doe sit feel to exalt yourself by abasing others?

      Your physical feats are impressive.
I did not mean to tag you as a Nihilist.
The only point I was trying to make was cautionary. Many folks do some very dangerous and foolish things and think that they will either die or survive. There is another possibility: to survive with a permanent disability. Brain damaged drug abusers. Football players with chronic pain and ruined backs and knees, etc.
I’m an old guy, so I’ll use an old saying:
“It’s all fun and games until someone loses an eye!”

As regards your response to Minarchian — I really don’t think that his post was an attack on you. As I see it, Minarchian was just trying to contrast what you posted with what an Obama voter would say.
You might think that this post (and the one I made a few hours ago) are attacks on you, but they are not intended as such. Really and truly.

      right.

Then you both need to learn about condescension & also how people become “confused” when they take your words and transform them.

And of course it’s dangerous what I do. I understand that by bragging about it, some youth might take it the wrong way.

I don’t think there are many young people here on this website that I need to be concerned about.

I used to work as a landscaper at a large hospital. We would pick up all the leaves with a big sweeper pulled by a tractor. We would empty it and the pile was HUGE. I loved running and jumping on top of it. It felt great and smelled wonderful. One day I jumped in a pile and found a long sharp stick and decided it was not so good to jump in leaves anymore.

Uh, no way. They put way too much work into this. It takes real physical labor to rake leaves, bag ‘em up, load 1400+ bags onto a truck, unload the truck etc. They went around Logan, UT and raked these leaves themselves…do you really thing some bho voters put that much work into anything? Just for the sake of some fun. These kids are not the slackers that voted for the dim wit. Freakin’ hilarious though! Gee no dope, alcohol or other nonsense, just good old fashion fun…I guess they could’ve been inside playing video games but instead they came up with this. Pretty cool when you think about it.

My name is Tyler, I’m one of these “stooges” while I can’t answer for the other two guys, I will say that I am a proud conservative and a strong opposer of Obamacare. I grew up in a very conservative home and love listening to people who share my views. (hence the account on TheBlaze.com.) Thanks for the views.

Seeing as 75% of Cache County voted Romney I’m going to guess these “wild and crazy kids” pretty much went the way of the majority.

Look up the LHS swim team from 90-94 and you will find the real “crazy kids”.
