This Out-of-Control Black Friday Brawl Started Over Women’s Underwear at Victoria’s Secret

“Black Friday” of 2012 has come and gone, but videos of the wild confrontations are still surfacing.

In Roseville, California, a dispute over women’s undergarments at Victoria’s Secret led to a massive fistfight drawing in spectators of both genders, it seems.

The New York Daily News summarizes:

“I’ve been in the retail business six years now, and I’ve never see a Black Friday this bad,” Jessica Wilbourn, an employee at the lingerie store, told the station.

“They were throwing merchandise in the air, and we had some boxed gift sets and it hit another girl in the head,” she added. “Some people got trampled on, and a 15-year-old got punched in the stomach.”

Customers reportedly went wild, climbing onto the store’s “panty bar.”

Mall shopper Lawrence Corpus said he filmed the ensuing fisticuffs with his iPhone as a crowd gathered outside of the stores. Three men began pummeling one another and knocked over a display — possibly over a pair of shoes, according to CBS 13 in Sacramento.

“It could have easily become a riot,” Corpus told the station.

One man took the top of a trash can and then threw it into the air, witnesses said. [Emphasis added]

As the fight spilled out of the store, one man can be seen kicking another in the head repeatedly.

And after just twenty minutes of the mayhem, Wilbourn said their store was trashed, and it took “all day” to clean it up.

  All I want to know is was the mall filled with the cheerful sound of Christmas music as the brawlers threw right crosses, left upper cuts and kicked the crap out of each other? When this video is played, such should be added….it brings a certain perspective to what sort of fools are loose on the streets.

  The clear answer to this problem is ….. Obama IPads for everyone! This way the heathen masses can shop online and avoid confrontation. At the same time they would not be spewing green house gases into the environment by not driving to the Brick and Mortar stores. The employees of these stores would no longer be needed and can join the welfare roles (and not wasting gas driving to work). Next, introduce the Obama government issued credit card for these purchases. The food stamps and welfare checks would be loaded onto these cards every month. Recipients can shop online and buy food, while Dear Leader buys votes all at the same time. Win Win!

  They are pushing for driver’s licenses right now for all illegals.
  Lets take this further to the absurd… Voter ID may exist in the future for this reason only, Allow up to say, $5,000 debt to be allowed to accrue on the Bama card. Show your card at the polls every two years and get your debt absolved. Said card would be imprinted on the ballot to ensure proper payment.

  Sure, they might not have been raised with discipline and respect, but looking at the video, I’d call them un-taught adults. At some point, we have to stop blaming the parents (or lack thereof) and assign accountability to the individual. I don’t understate the importance of proper parenting, but sometimes good parents breed rebellious children, at no fault of their own. We choose our own course.

  Yes, it’s a sign of the times and upbringing and how things have changed. I’ll bet you saw similar things during the depression. People are soft now adays. They still want the nice gifts for their loved ones or themselves, but can’t afford it now. So, instead of scaling back on Christmas, or making their gifts, they go out on Black Friday, the day hyped as the lowest prices of the year. The time to get something half off. People are probably coming out that never came out before. They HAVE to get that in their size before someone else does. Like I said in the other article, pretty soon this will be the scene at the grocery stores and gas stations. Right now it’s gifts people want to buy, but soon it will be necessities.

Here to people acting on their best behavior, all women’s clothing. Maybe when it’s really something important like food they’ll bring guns, and start shooting. Maybe then the police will enforce stricter shopping laws., as in only ten items at checkout, shopping carts with emergency brakes, arresting speeders, or basically not having 3000 people allowed in a store with room for a 100.

  Since the election I have watched and read everything I can find on the history of Rome. I wanted to see at what point we were at in history of a failed Republic. And as far as I can see we’re right there. The parallels are scary. I would suggest anyone who cares to do the same research and then prepair..

  Yes, we are right there, but one key thing hasn’t quite happened yet, it’s close though. Rome fell mostly because of outside influence. When people who don’t have a cultural identity with a host culture actually gain significant influence over a host culture, it quickly becomes a devolution of the host culture into a hybrid of the influencing cultures. This crashes the host culture and society that is based on it. This is what happened to Rome. The legions were filled with people of other lands, conscripts and individuals that did not share the vision of Rome. When internal strife struck Rome, the legions helped to bring it down, not support it.
  
  President Obama may end up being our Nero, he may not, but he’s certainly warming up that fiddle.
  
  We have massive influence of cultures that do not support the Founding Father’s vision of the United States or its Constitution. Once that influence gets large enough to defeat the Constitution, we end as a united country. We are very close, this will be interesting to watch.
