What New Nickname Has the Public Given Egyptian President Morsi? (Hint: Sounds Like a Fascist Dictator)
Egyptian democracy advocate Mohammed ElBaradei has already called President Mohammed Morsi the “new Pharaoh” and now Egyptian Twitter users are comparing his power grab to another famous dictator, granting him the nickname “Morsilini.” It’s even become a popular hashtag.
The President, who sprang from Egypt’s Muslim Brotherhood, last week granted himself sweeping powers including shielding himself from judicial review in order to “protect the revolution.” Egypt’s judiciary is calling his decrees an “unprecedented assault.”
Al Arabiya translated some of the tweets and reports:
…the microblogging site was flooded with the term, drawing hardhearted ties between fascist dictator Benito Mussolini and Egypt’s Islamist president.
“Mursi now has a critical hashtag called #Morsillini. A portmanteau of Mursi and Mussolini,” posted Twitter user @Bassem_Sabry.
And the label quickly prompted a few quips.
“Morsillini: ‘I twist the truth, I rule the world, my crown is called deceit I am the emperor of lies, you grovel at my feet,’” posted @ahmadfahmy.
“Morsillini: ” I have the right to issue orders, laws and they can’t be revoked. I have the right to jail you, execute you & marry your wife, ” the same user tweeted.
And the news attracted a sarcastic putdown from Egyptian activist Lubna Darwish, who tweeted: “His excellency president #Morsillini, leader of government, parliament and constitution, head of fascism, and founder of the renaissance.
Italian dictator Benito Mussolini ruled Italy from 1922 to 1943 and is credited with founding Fascism. Among his acts were the dismantling of democratic institutions and crushing his political opponents through use of the secret police. He allied his country with Nazi Germany and Japan during World War II.
On Sunday, clashes continued in Egypt for a third day since Morsi issued his decrees. One teenager was killed and at least 40 injured.

Posted on November 27, 2012 at 12:02pmperhaps why the white house has been fairly mum on this situation is, obama is waiting for the final results before going forward with his own power grab.he has hinted at this often, like how congress is getting in his way so his plans are impeded. If he thinks it’s getting hot over there. usa is an armed society, it will be alot hotter here.

While it appears to be a fitting description of Morsi, these are lyrics from a Motorhead Song entitled “Orgasmatron”

You helped to depose a dictator who was friendly to the US and Israel then helped and encouraged a maniacal wackjob populace to replace him with a dictator who hates the US and Israel. I suppose that was your intent all along!

Posted on November 26, 2012 at 10:46amThis is the peaceful Arab Spring that Obummer supported. Anybody with half a brain knew this was going to go this way. When terrorist groups suppress the silent majority through fear and oppression, what chance do they have? I am glad to see that some were willing to protest. I pray they will continue to protest and organize, throwing this stone-age trash into the street.

Posted on November 26, 2012 at 10:42amLook well people, we are seeing the growth of a dictator here at home as well known as Obama. The Drudge report shows an article in which Obama is declared to be ‘savior’ and is all but a god in the flesh to many of his followers.
It is a true cult-of-personality that will end in blood and fire for the nation as Obama’s madness grows.

Posted on November 26, 2012 at 10:35amI watch the images coming out of that part of the world and I feel the sadness of mankind. I weep for my children and their children. It is obvious that evil is on the march like a swarm of red ants. Are their hearts so bent on power that the blood they shed means nothing? God will sort this out and His wrath will be Earth shattering.

Morsi will become a theocratic dictator, even if takes a year or two. Glenn Beck’s prediction of a far reaching Islamic State involving multiple countries seems to be in the works.
