Report: Laura Ingraham to Leave Talk Radio … For Now
NEW YORK (TheBlaze/AP) — Radio talk show host Laura Ingraham is off the air — at least temporarily.
She said Tuesday that she’s leaving her distributor, Talk Radio Network, after more than nine years because her contract is up. Ingraham said she is in discussions with other distributors about her show, which currently airs on 325 stations nationally.
Talkers magazine says the conservative Ingraham is the most-listened to woman on radio, with an estimated 5.75 million listeners a week. Talkers said that ranks her among the top eight radio hosts overall.
In the meantime, she said she’ll keep her opinions flowing on her website, on Twitter, and during Fox News Channel appearances.

Posted on November 27, 2012 at 2:21pmBetter yet, let Bill go to once a night and let her have her own show. She does a great job when she sits in. Fox News doesn’t need to repeat their shows. They could let others have a voice like Laura or maybe even West. If they didn’t repeat, they would have even more tune in.

Start bringing in some additional fresh young conservative talent rather than repeating, they’ve got the room in their weekday/weekend schedules!

Countless professionals, including myself, are simply going to stop producing. We’re sick and tired of breaking our backsides, only to be vilified, taxed and lambasted at every turn by a largely uniformed and uninspired populace and its feckless leaders.
We’ve re-re-named Ayn’s book back to its original title: “The Strike”, and count on it, we’re not coming back until the fat lady not only sings, but is able to fit into a size four dress.

Posted on November 27, 2012 at 1:37pmHeck, we don’t even need talk radio anymore. All of them are preaching to the choir. This election was nothing more than a repeat of 2008 despite Limbaugh, Hannity, Levine and all the rest of them, conservative or liberal preaching like a southern Baptist minister everyday. The talk radio shows are getting so boring anyway, I might as well go watch the grass grow or paint dry. The conservative guys did absolutely nothing to change one vote for the other side, the same for liberals. The only thing that will change America from it’s present state is an unprecedented event of some sorts that forces action that affects 300 million Americans….negatively. Until we are all on the same page with equal misery and suffering it’s the status quo. We know the wrong side is in charge, what are we going to do about it?

Posted on November 27, 2012 at 7:26pmIf taxes go up and no deal is reached, the media will blame the Republicans, not Obama. Who will our dumbed down population believe? The propagandists in the MSM that do Obama’s bidding. I enjoy watching Rand Paul going on the attack on this, though. Let’s see the Democrats’ plan. What spending cuts are they going to offer? Republicans are always expected to compromise their principles. It’s about time the Democrats stepped up and did some compromising of their own.
Don’t worry, though, RINOs like Lindsey Graham will vote to raise taxes, then the Republicans in South Carolina will vote for him over his primary opponent and reward him for behaving like a Democrat.

Posted on November 27, 2012 at 11:56pmthe 18 -40 age group are mostly lost to constitutional values. they are the second generation not taught true Americanism and true history. I am 68 so MY kids are in the 40 to 50 group and they got it from what we parents lived but not from the schools. and now the 18-40s got none of it because we didn’t teach it to their parents, their parents just got what rubbed off from us living it, so they are really lost. We all need to get educated and enthusiastic and confident enough to start a church group or adult ED group or just a library reading group and facilitate the study of AMERICANISM and TRUE Complete American History. there are tons of organizations with good material at reasonable prices , and YOU CAN do it. for starters check out National Center for Constitutional Studies [NCCS] , Godonomics. Shawn Krauser, JBS, Hillsdale College, Constituting America -. NCCS has very generous bulk purchase prices. $9.95 cd’s are a buck or two each if you buy 10 or more; 5ooo year leap is just 5 or 10 bucks if you buy a bunch. Good Luck and God Bless. Ronald Regan warned us to teach it to our kids and we failed.Time to get going. connect up on freedom connector or some refounders or TEA Party Patriots on facebook. You are the TEA party.

Posted on November 28, 2012 at 1:37amThere are Millions of us who listen to talk radio for 10-12 hrs a day. You can listen while you work. I remember the first time I ever heard Limbaugh. It was in the 80s in New York. Then I found him in Chicago. It was so refreshing to find out that I wasnt the only one who thought that way.
Ingraham is Great. She has a really fuzzy set. She is starting to pick up the bad habit that Hannity has of talking over people. I prefer a conversation, but sometimes you have to end the talking point crap and propaganda. Ill miss her. I would actually rather listen to her then Hannity. Hows that for heresy.

Posted on November 27, 2012 at 2:06pmAgreed here too. I used to listen to her on one of the Phoenix radio stations, but only for a few minutes at a time. So much of her show was filled with fluff and nonsense. She used to have a segment called the “but monkey of the day.” It was someone she didn’t like who used “but” in a sentence, and she had the sound of a monkey screaming at least twice during the clip. And she would always take the time to make fun of an enemy’s name or **** or clothing, something that no one but her could care about. I don’t understand why she has been on the air for as long as she has, with all the extraneous stuff in the show.

Posted on November 27, 2012 at 1:25pmOMG! When we lived in Oregon we would sometimes listen to Lars Larson. That man is just horrible! He was always shilling for this or that, and made rude comments about those he opposes (one was the “Daily Fish Wrapper” The Oregonian newspaper. That newspaper isn’t good enough to line the catbox. But he used that at least 10 times in any given hour of his show). In my opinion, he was always a joke. Even though I do not care to listen to Laura, she is a million times better that Lars Larson.

Although she’d be a great addition, he is still getting off the ground, so paying out such a high salary could be detrimental for Glenn. sadly, outside of pay radio, the local stations seem intent on ‘balancing’ Rush with Alan Colmes (the smarmy arrogant a$$) and Randi Rhodes, the pompous, deceiving blowhard.

Posted on November 27, 2012 at 12:34pmEeew! Alan Colmes literally makes my skin crawl. Back in ’94 his radio show was run on the local talk radio station near where I was stationed at the time. I had a lengthy drive home from the post and usually caught the last of another show at the beginning of my commute. Then Colmes would come on. Finally, one afternoon he started the show with an interview of an accused necrophiliac who had supposedly been caught in the act the day before and fired from his job at a mortuary. Colmes treated this as if it were an everyday happening and got pretty disgusting. The radio station dropped his show permanently during the first commercial break. Good riddance.
Randi Rhodes is just as lame as the other lib talk show hosts. Just proves why their shows go nowhere. Actually surprised that she is still on. I would have thought she would have been doing something like introducing wrestling matches by now or something similar. She’s got the name for it.
