‘Wilkow!’: Democrats Moving Towards Statism

On TheBlazeTV Tuesday, Andrew Wilkow argued that progressives have moved Democrats, and in turn the general conversation on Capitol Hill, toward statism. Wilkow said Tuesday that the attitude is beginning to pick off moderate Republicans in the Senate like Sen. Lindsey Graham to the statist agenda, but are finding strong opposition from a mounting group of Libertarian-minded conservatives led by Sens. Rand Paul and Mike Lee. Watch a clip below from Wilkow’s monologue on what must be done to preserve freedom, liberty, and free market:

In CONTROL, Glenn Beck presents a passionate, fact-based case for guns that reveals why gun control isn’t really about controlling guns at all; it’s about controlling us. Find out more HERE.

I don’t know if Obama is strictly a communist….he also has a lot of fascists tendencies.

Yeah, but collectivist subversion is just crazy talk, right? I mean, that died with the Soviets, right? Communists are just fictional characters in Schwarzenegger movies, right?

I recommend The Law by Frederic Bastiat. Less than 100 pages. Best book I’ve read in recent memory on political philosophy. He was a genius on making the moral argument for freedom vs. socialism! Give it to everyone you know!

Obama is using a system called “Dashboard” developed by behavioral experts. His followers log online, follow the directions in the system, and contact all of their friends, relatives, social sites, etc. and make it go viral. He is using this system to push his agenda. Now that he has a huge database and access to every government database, he can contact every citizen.
Obama is a professional community organizer, with former executives of Google and Facebook in the administration. Dashboard is one powerful system.

Obama and all his supporters… communist. No need to split hairs or appease. I am not waiting for them to become proud of that fact in order to own up to it. Let them feel shame.

Wilkow is a smart guy but why can’t any of these people say what Dear Leader is and what he and his crew have done.
Even Pravda knows what we are now, is it so hard to admit the truth? Or are they merely that scared?
If that’s the problem they might as well get over it because they are already on the communists lists.

Affordability is what gets people off welfare.
My biggest frustration is that the most basic and affordable options for both housing and transportation seem to be outlawed.
On the transportation front, it is the outlawed atv’s.
On housing. I think greed or lack of creativity and the fact the government does not want you independent

Please, affordable housing? You can buy half a block of houses in detroit for $1,000. Affordable housing quickly turns into ghettos and crack houses. People don’t take care of things they don’t earn for themselves.

Did he just now figure this out ? They have been going this way a very long time. BOTH parties.
There is NO WAY they will ever allow a real Consv. (pro Constitutionalist) to be nominated for President. They will never investigate fraud b/c they are guilty themselves…and use it to rig elections. Forget GOP. Only way is to create Third Party & run someone like Palin so they aren’t under corrupt GOP. Need to first have corrupt software voting machines fixed and get rid of fraud as much as possible before 2014 & get more of our guys in the Senate. But pray for Divine intervention that we may survive and able to have “free” elections first b/c we will need it.

Brains? Ha ha, good one, you had me going there. Libs/socialists/progressives/commies/leftists, etc., they are like the Wizard of Oz characters rolled into one: no brains, no courage, no heart. They are minions, self-appointed slaves. They beg to be ruled.

    Socialism: noun
    1. a theory or system of social organization that advocates the vesting of the ownership and control of the means of production and distribution, of capital, land, etc., in the community as a whole.
    2. procedure or practice in accordance with this theory.
    3. (in Marxist theory) the stage following capitalism in the transition of a society to communism, characterized by the imperfect implementation of collectivist principles.

Statism is the VEHICLE for socialism to move us toward communism according to marxist theory. The only way this happens to us is for Americans to be either a) cowards/traitors or b) stupid or c) all of the above.

51% are all of the above. Probably less than 10% of the remaining would actually fight, and probably only 2% would be any good at it.

I just heard Morsi declared Marshall Law…is that right?

Wonder how this will affect America…and it will.
Morsi seizing complete authority as DICTATOR…
I hope doesn’t give someone else ideas of the same.

Graham and McCain should get fired they’re two worthless RINOS. Look at the state of our country and you can’t blame it all on the democrats, the republicans signed off on all the wasteful spending and the expansion of the federal government. That’s the problem ,the R’s and the D’s are too much alike and we need to get back to limited government and less spending, less taxation and regulations.

As far as I’m concerned most if not all social programs are unconstitutional and should be gradually eliminated. Unfortunately for us the electorate doesn’t have a clue as to what the constitution says.
It’s supposed to limit what the government can do to us not hand out ‘free stuff’,I realize most have been taught that that’s the case so it’ll take many years to correct. We don’t have many years so the people will have to learn the hard way what governments real role is supposed to be in our lives.

It’s going to depend on whether or not Ron submarined his chances with fruitless abandon. Ron managed to turn off so many in the last 8 years of his career, he may have, in effect, pulled a GWB on his own son, without intending to. If so, Rand would have to really work hard to get people to see his way of things. Nothing at this point would be better than to see Rand at the podium, ready to kick these Progressive Pigs in their fat happy asses, with common sense and logical solutions.

And just how is he going to overcome the voter fraud that won for Dear Leader this time. Wave his magic wand.
Once a communist assumes power he does not voluntarily surrender power to a non-communist. Period!

      Apple-
the only people that don’t like Ron Paul are the people who don’t give ratz a>> about the constitution. Most of you fully support the progressive machine. You nominated the guy who couldn’t even beat the rhino McCain. The GOP is washed up, full of people who talk conservative and vote progressive. They are the authors of the bills that infringed on our liberties.

As a Christian, I am anchored to my position by morality and cannot move much to the political left or the right. People who aren’t anchored by morality are free to move about the political spectrum whenever it is convenient for them. They can appear right leaning when it suits their agenda and take a left position when it suits their agenda.
