A Setback for Israel? Spain Joins France in Plans to Back Palestinian State at the U.N.

MADRID (TheBlaze/AP) — Spain’s foreign minister says Spain will vote in favor of recognition of a Palestinian state at the U.N. General Assembly this week.
Jose Manuel Garcia Margallo told parliament Wednesday that Spain would support the Palestinian bid at the U.N., because it feels it is the best way to advance toward peace.
As TheBlaze reported on Tuesday, France became the first major European country to come out in favor of U.N. recognition, a move seen as a setback for Israel. The timing of the French move seemed to be rooted in an attempt to sway other European nations in the same direction. In Spain’s case, such a notion took root.
The assembly is expected to vote Thursday on a resolution raising their status at the United Nations from an observer to a nonmember observer state, a move they believe is an important step toward a two-state solution with Israel.
Europe is divided over the issue. Switzerland and Portugal have said they will vote for the measure, but Germany is among the countries that have opposed the bid. Britainβs position remains unclear.
Palestinians say they are doing this out of frustration over the four-year deadlock in peace efforts. They believe an endorsement of their state will bolster their negotiating position.
Israel strongly opposes the bid, accusing the Palestinians of trying to bypass negotiations. The resolution would endorse a Palestinian state in the West Bank, Gaza Strip and east Jerusalem, the territories captured by Israel in the 1967 Mideast war. Israel opposes a pullback to the 1967 lines.

Posted on November 28, 2012 at 9:46am“Europe has failed to learn the lessons which ravaged them in war. It’s the same disgusting behavior, only the methodology has changed. Instead of direct religious extremism, they mass import it from the Islamic world. Instead of herding millions of the most prolific intelligent innovators into the ovens of Auschwitz, Europe organized international committees, courts, NGOs, and corrupt media to libel, demonize, and delegitimize the relatives and progeny of the same six million living in their aggregate historic homeland, all to placate both their imported Islamic citizens who pray daily for another holocaust and their own historic hatred. Those pesky overachievers with relatively virtuous values are the first to get it when people become economically frustrated and envious. And Europeβs coming pain as a result of their impossible entitlement culture virtually ensures it. Why should the Europeans blame their economic hardships on a scientifically flawed political system of collectivism/socialism and coexistence with barbarism when they can blame the prosperous intelligent innovators who not only civilized the world, but make the world a better place with the goods and services to which Europe feels entitled? Europe believes that their adoption of political correctness gives them cover for their sins. But political correctness is just like clouds providing shade from the sunlight of truth. Eventually the truth shines through.” QUANTUM CAPITALISM

Posted on November 29, 2012 at 4:13pmJerk – It really tickles me that psychotic anti-Semites can’t seem to decide if Jews are controlling worldwide financial capital or if they’re trying to overthrow it with international socialism.
It also tickles me that all of the Blazers who trumpet about the sanctity of ‘God’s Israel’ always fail to mention that they simply want to get all the Jews into Israel so that their Revelations apocalypse scenario can begin to unfold, a scenario in which all Jews who fail to convert will be headed straight for the inferno. Sort of an elephant in the room for Christian fanatics who want a seat at the Israel debate. The sickest joke in this world is that people whose minds work this way are actually influencing policy in the nation with the world’s largest nuclear arsenal.

Posted on November 28, 2012 at 8:33amWhat these nations want to do is to deport their Muslims into the same area. Yeah, history tells me so. These so called Palestinians who were given Gaza by Israel are the outcasts of other Arab nations…and there has been a lot of talk of returning to their so called homeland. Talk in other nations such as Spain and France. So it would be natural for them to support this crap.
Just me thinking out loud.

This makes sense: France with a 7.5% of the population and Spain with 2.8% of the population being Muslim could be looking to push them out.
Though, France and Spain should really study Israel’s Samson Option.

So I guess when someone professes to be a Christian on TheBlaze and advocates murder/violence/nuclear war/etc I can safely assume that is what all Christians think. I mean its not like there are different sects of Christianity/Islam that believe different things. And surely there are no politically secular Muslims/Christians like the ones protesting Morsi’s power grab in Egypt. O wait…..

Posted on November 28, 2012 at 8:25amI was brought up in a Jewish household. I went to temple every Sabbath and even enjoyed the rigors of learning Hebrew for my Bar Mitzvah. As I grew older, and had serious issues with Rabbis, I moved away from Judaism. When I retired and had a lot more time for pleasure reading, I began to seriously look at my relationship to religion in general and Judaism in particular. As time passed, I questioned ever more about the existence of “God.” I am not at the point where I know that I cannot prove that God doesn’t exist. However, I’ve never seen a good argument beyond other people’s view of extreme coincidence, that God does exist. At this point I see religion as something that older civilizations started to explain phenomena that was beyond their comprehension AT THE TIME. Now I see religion as a big conspiracy to control your life by something that you have to imagine.

Israel is a pain to the Muslim world, Barry is an admitted Muslim (his own words, not mine), so now every Jew in this coutry and Irael is going to give that shocked face look when they are destroyed.
Give me a break. The Jewish community is getting exactly what it voted for, their own destruction.
