Joe Biden Went to Costco Today — Here Are the Hilarious Photos
Vice President Joe Biden paid a visit to Washington, D.C.’s first Costco store on Thursday where his shopping haul included children’s books, fire logs, a 32-inch TV and an apple pie.
Excited shoppers whipped out cell phones to snap photos of Biden, who was there on the day of the big-box store’s grand opening.

According to the White House pool report, Biden did a loop of nearly the entire store, including the bakery and frozen foods sections, and partook in several Costco food samples. He turned down Costco employees trying to tempt him into the tire department, telling them, “Hey man, I don’t need tires. I don’t drive anymore.”

Biden flashed a Costco membership card at the store’s entrance, telling the crowd it was his own card.
“In all honesty, I didn’t have my own card, Jill wouldn’t let me have one,” he said, according to the pool report. “I went to get my wife’s card, and she said, ‘No, No, get your own card.’”
A White House official said the Bidens’ Costco memberships were re-activated the day before and they paid $55 to receive new cards.

Biden called for extending tax cuts for the middle class and said the new store’s huge crowd was evidence of growing consumer confidence. He said, “consumer confidence is growing, the last thing we need to do is dash that” by imposing tax increases. The looming “fiscal cliff” will trigger a series of automatic spending cuts and tax increases unless Congress can reach a deal before the end of the year.

People from all different backgrounds have been slaves to someone or something at one point in time, get over it already.

Now Republicans will have no excuse not to raise taxes, since the Obama administration did their part to cut spending. The media will portray this as proof that government spending is not out of control. I hope our tax dollars give your family a Merry Christmas Joe, I’m sure it will be alot Merrier than Christmas for my family. Makes me sick this clown can shop at will on taxpayer money, when I cant afford anything on a tight budget.

Just trying to fight for what once was a great conservative hammer set up to report the news the MSM would not. As Glen says you have to fight when you see something wrong. I will fight against TheBlaze being turned into just another tabloid and hurting real people and their families. I dont think that is why Glen set up TheBlaze.
TheBlaze is still reporting the news the MSM refuses to report, but that is just because ABC will not waste ink on many of these human interest “no news” stories that TheBlaze deems as newsbreaking.
What was your favorite news breaking story on TheBlaze today? (hint, there were only two news stories on TheBlaze today). Good luck trying to find them.

He’s stating to the effect that Glenn started The Blaze with the claim of only doing hard hitting news. While many of have read the site administrator’s posts in the past where he stated that this site will run all sorts of stories. Regardless, I wish they would put that in their header above the opening page or if this is to be a hard hitting political site only. That would end any future confusion. Posted on November 29, 2012 at 2:52pmRJJ, I am very much a conservative and I use to follow Beck. I wanted to subscribe to the TV show, not to watch it but to help get the message out. Cant afford that right now and for probably the next four years.
If TheBlaze is just a tabloid then thats cool. Beck can do what he wants. If TheBlaze keeps insisting on attacking people and destroying their lives then I have more of a problem with it than I do MoveOn, MSNBC or Obama. At least they only attack a social class and not an individual like TheBlaze likes to do.
It would be interesting to know however if Beck thinks of this site as a tabloid, a news site or is to be used to support his TV show and other endeavors.
It is a lousy introduction however to what Beck preaches. As I said, if the TV show and his other products are as hateful to people as TheBlaze is, I will fight Glen Beck for the individual’s right to privacy too.

No, would not reduce the Blaze to tabloid status, but they do cover a lot different types of stories. After some other sites and in particular some conservative and liberal talk shows I find this a bit refreshing. But, there are some stories that I do not bother to open. A variation of time and interest on my part though.
I think that at least you and I can get along here then. Naturally, we will not agree on everything, but neither do my wife and I. So, that will be no big deal.
