  What a ridiculous “story” this is, Blaze!
  Michelle is celebrating making Christmas candy like most Americans do. There is nothing wrong, nor newsworthy, about that. So she talks about obese Americans … guess what? A very large part of the population are overweight, fat people that WILL make medical costs rise. That is a fact that you apparently do not want to admit. She has never said you cannot indulge now and then and she certainly hasn’t said children should not be allowed to make and eat any Christmas candy.
  
  I don’t like her for many reasons, but one must be fair and cut out the ridiculous anti-anything she does crap. All that sort of nonsense does is make the right wing look more lunatic. When she says something stupid like “it’s the first time I was proud of my country” (or whatever the exact quote is), it’s certainly sane to scold her about that. But to allow kids to be kids during a holiday is not worthy of a scolding or a mocking.

  Just watched Monk’s links.
  Your songwriting isn’t too bad but you should pause a **** for emphasis when you change to the bridge. You tend to rush through the strumming on those parts a little bit.
  Also your vocals need a little work. Listen to Pavement or Neil Young… they are good at “vocalizing” even though they’re lousy “singers”. Stop trying to be a “singer”. Be a vocalist.

I sure would like to know how much that candy making party just cost the tax payers along with the contrived photo op….would have been much more impressed had she been seen dressed down handing out hot chocolate to the homeless without the photographer……the egos of this bunch are so beyond comprehension
