Bahraini Lawmaker Who Burned Israeli Flag in Parliament Won’t Be Punished
While American lawmakers get attention with their impassioned speeches and threats of filibuster, one Bahraini politician chose a different tactic to not only gain attention, but also bolster his anti-Israel credentials. He burned an Israeli flag in the parliament building. For this you would expect he was censured for this by his peers, right? Apparently not.
Gulf News reports Member of Parliament Osama Al Tamimi escaped punishment Wednesday when his parliamentary peers voted against taking any action against him. Last week, Al Tamimi smuggled fuel into the parliament building and burned the flag to protest what he called the Israeli “aggression” in Gaza. The session had to briefly recess due to the smoke that filled the chamber.
Al Tamimi said he was trying to “send a clear message to the international community” about Bahrain’s support for the people of Gaza.
His colleagues initially considered taking action against him not because he burned the Israeli flag – an occurrence seen frequently in the Muslim world – rather because he engaged in an attention-grabbing stunt.
Speaker Khalifa Al Dhahrani expressed concern the vote’s outcome would encourage negative practices.
MP Ahmad Al Saati said: “The outcome deprives the parliament of a constitutional tool to ensure the highest standards of behavior.”
Outside parliament, Bahrain has been clamping down on political demonstrations as its Sunni monarchy has been facing a Shiite-led uprising for the past two years.

Posted on November 30, 2012 at 12:01pmIs it not he who is being aggressive? It is written, “Thou shall not bear false witness.”
A prophecy, October 9, 1981: “We say unto you, as we have said before, the fuse had been lit [from] France and it shall burn unto Israel. For those who should work, and do the work of the Anti-Christ, are about their master’s bidding, to [subvert] and take by violence, and to bring forth the mark of the Beast upon the unwilling.
For those who can hear, let them hear. For those who can see, let them see. For now you shall see, very soon, the name of the Beast and the name of the Anti-Christ.
As we have said before, [that] the Eagle [U.S.A.] should spread its wings — and in doing so it shall protect the Christ child — for you stand at the threshold of the beginning and the ending. For the things we have told you to prepare for are now at hand. [See The Revelation, chapters 12 and 13.]
Now, beyond all times, you must bind together. Lay aside your petty grievances. Know that this is a time when the half-times are behind you.
As the Fifth Angel walks upon your earth, soon shall be the Sixth. And then the Seventh. Should the Sixth [Seventh?] Seal be opened, woe be most of mankind. For you see before you the two karmas of Abraham [Isaac and Ishmael?], much as you saw before you Cain and Abel. And now you see the descendants of Cain, and what they are capable of doing.”

Posted on November 30, 2012 at 6:44pmThe Blaze thinks that the person that did this wont be punished. I have news for you, God will not be mocked nor tested. I have one suggestion for anyone that comes against the Apple of God’s Eye Israel and that includes Obama and all of his voters, you might want to invest in an Asbestos suet. You might be needing it one day.

Posted on November 30, 2012 at 9:43amThey are just expressing their truth beliefs but many Americans will never understand the meaning of hate for America including those who agree with these fools. Most American hate mongers have been in prison and there taken on the ‘religion of peace” think this will protect them and help destroy the America they also hate. America would not let them commit the crimes they so enjoyed but got caught. Now they will stand with anyone who hates as they do because getting caught was America’s fault not theirs.

Posted on November 30, 2012 at 7:24amDo we really need to keep taking pictures of these people. As far as I can tell you could use about 5 pictures and just copy past for every story. There’s the hairy dude in bed sheets, the cousin it chic, the haji with an AK, polo shirt, and flip flops with web gear on over it, there’s the ubiquitous mob shot and some old arab dude in a sport coat trying to look diplomatic. That should about cover it.

Posted on November 30, 2012 at 7:58am@Jerk,
I don’t have to use media images. I could draw from personal experience too I suppose. If so, there is the dude in bed sheets waving and smiling at my convoy and in the next shot with bino’s as a FO for a Haji mortar team. I would need to add that one. There’s also the one of the guy in flip flops firing an AK over his shoulder while running away behind the cover of the cousin it chicks. And there is the red puddle that is what is left of the guy who blew himself up with his own IED.
If we add those to the list would it sort of even out the media bias?

Posted on November 30, 2012 at 8:26am@Jerk,
Dude, I get it. I understand the whole blowback issue. I don’t think we should be doing any of the games that we do. Go back all the way to the Shah. The whole mess is self inflicted as far as I can see it. It has been, still is, and will be bad foreign policy to try to mess with other governments and create these puppet regimes and funding rebels and the whole nine yards. Furthermore, don’t think that I’m not the least bit hacked about the whole bill of goods used to sell us into fighting this stupid war. I served because I wanted to make sure my kids wouldn’t have to. That didn’t work out so well and it was naive on my part.
That all being said, I will not let those issues somehow paint a picture of those people that isn’t true. Just because we are wrong in our approach doesn’t somehow give that culture honor. They are cowards, liars, nutcases and devoid of honor and integrity. You can’t say that the US is wrong and then de facto the Haji’s are honorable victim types. It isn’t true. I want nothing to do with that people. They are heathens and animals and deserve the tyranny and squallor they have. Why we feel compelled to mess with them I don’t understand, because they are so good at making their own misery they don’t need us.
