‘Jews Need Not Apply,’ ‘Coloreds OK’ Invites Reportedly Distributed to Harvard Students

Students at Harvard University awoke Friday morning to inflammatory club invitations slid under their doors that stated, “Jews need not apply,” “No f–king Jews” and “Coloreds OK,” student newspaper the Harvard Crimson reported.

The invitations were for “The Pigeon,” said to be “Harvard’s Newest Final Club.” Final clubs are exclusive social clubs not recognized by the university.

Three virtues listed at the top of the invitation were “inclusion,” “diversity” and “love,” each with the following caveats: “inclusion” (“Jews need not apply”); “diversity” (“Seriously, no f–king Jews. Coloreds OK”); and “love” (“Rophynol” — a misspelling of the date rape drug Rohypnol, or “roofies.”)

The invitation contained information for the club’s first event, set for 11:02 p.m. at a frozen yogurt shop on Dec. 13, with “semi-bro attire required.”

It was unclear precisely how many students received the invitations, or whether they were legitimate or some kind of prank. The Crimson reported they were distributed in all nine undergraduate “River Houses.”

In a statement to TheBlaze, Harvard College Dean Evelynn Hammonds called the invitations “deeply disturbing” and said while the university is committed to safeguarding free expression, that should not be mistaken “for the tacit approval of all speech that occurs on our campus.”

“As dean of the college, and as an educator, I find these flyers offensive,” Hammonds said. “They are not a reflection of the values of our community. Even if intended as satirical in nature, they are hurtful and offensive to many students, faculty and staff, and do not demonstrate the level of thoughtfulness and respect we expect at Harvard when engaging difficult issues within our community.”

Word of the invitations comes just after the university granted a BDSM sex club official school recognition.

      The announcement could just as easily have stated “no whites.” The American non-Zionist Jews living in America like the Hollywood crowd actually think that they will be spared in the White round up. Communism cannot risk the future with the white American race living. The white American race including help from the Catholic Church was the only group that was able to topple the USSR. Communist in America will never risk be defeated by an uprising of white Americans, white Jews included.

      Had it been Liberty University, BYU, or any universities south of the Mason Dixon line, the FBI would have cancelled all leave and invaded the campus with the National Guard in tow. The NAACP and the CBC would be screaming in front of any microphone and TV camera from coast to coast. But this is Hahvahd and all that is given is an “ah shucks, boys will be boys.”

      Drew Gilpin Faust is the 28th president of Harvard University, Faust is married to Charles Rosenberg. Harvard is Yeshiva University of Massachusetts. My guess is that this is another in-your-face to power. Much like that which occurred in the 60′s.

    what they don’t tell you in those social clubs is that they don’t accept diversity in thought or ideology. the best clubs to join are those where you learn some cool stuff, like martial arts and technology clubs.

      Is this a Private University? If so, It has a “privacy-law” to do on it’s campus what it wants as long it does not endanger students. It can allow/not-allow what goes-on its curriculum and campus! If it receives Gubbiment-$$-Funds, It is a SLAVE TO GOVERNMENT and has no say-so in who it does/doesnot allow!!

      That’s just what I was thinking, DRS1969;
      This was either just a really dumb prank, likely made by opponents of this particular club meant to deter students from going out for it, or it was another fake hate crime.
      Considering that Jews are way over-represented at Harvard, and very much in the upper ranks of power there, my money goes on the latter.

    If anyone actually clicked through to read the root article, you’d find that this was obviously a satirical shot at the “final clubs” to which the flyer was distributed, in reference to the lack of diversity and perceived discrimination in these clubs. I agree that this was a pretty repugnant way to express that criticism, but it is blatantly a satire.

      You have no knowledge of Jews or Judaism and your accusation is entirely false. Jews believe that nearly all of the biblical laws are obligatory on Jews only. No non-Jew is required or expected to accept the Jewish viewpoint. And after 2000 years of being persecuted for their views, do you really think their going to be inflamed because Christians are preaching their views?       Just what I was thinkin…I’m not ‘offended’ or think it’s ‘hate speech’, I personally like when people drop their masks. I like to know who and what I’m dealing with good or bad. Considering Harvard’s professor’s, special guests/speakers and the outright loathing of Israel, God, country, and conservatives no one here would be shocked if we did find out it wasn’t a prank. Harvard condones–no, encourages this type of behavior.

      And really folks, isn’t this the kind of ‘low rent’, dregs of society type of people we’ve become accustomed to seeing at the ivy league institutions these days? Shoot, at just about any of the USA indoctrination centers they claim is a higher learning institutions.

      Big picture you are right. The U.S. is headed for financial meltdown, sooner rather than later, and B O will need a scapegoat. Pretty easy blaming the 16 trillon dollar mess we are in, on Israel….. because they can’t make peace with their sworn enemies.

    What will we got from Harvard “I find these flyers offensive”. If the flyer had included “no colored” we would have the FBI investigating and eventually Obama would come into town and sit down with a coupe of whites and a couple of blacks have a few beers and look presidential. We also would have the radical black professors on an don how racists we are .. Up to now not a word for anyone.

    This increase of antisemitism here and in Europe does not seem to bother the liberal jews in this country who vote for the Obama policies. In the Hitler period the Jews that turned on their own kept their comfortable lives,I wonder if George Soros will share about his life.

      Surely, these colleges & Universities aren’t corrupting our children like this? ha, even in grade school I hear some of the more horrid things they’re teaching our kids.
      People, get smart and keep your thousands and go to Jr. College or vocational school or simply the greatest, serve an apprenticeship to be an electrician or plumber.
      Do you realize many electricians and plumbers make more money than many of you who spend 4-5 years in an ultra liberal indoctrination that ends up making you as mean & hateful as the professors?
