S.E. Cupp for NYC Mayor? Some Want It to Happen But She Tells Us No — ‘To Everyone’s Relief I’m Sure’

S.E. Cupp: No Plans to Run for NYC Mayor, To Everyones Relief Im Sure

TheBlaze

TheBlaze’s S.E. Cupp said she has no plans to run for mayor of New York City, despite the urging of two political consultants.

Cupp said Roger Stone, a longtime Republican operative and former Richard Nixon aide, and Sam Nunberg, a New York City-based consultant, first approached her last year, and that Nunberg came to her again this week urging her to consider a GOP bid.

“[Nunberg] told me that he’d taken it on himself to come up with a strategy and a plan and has approached some potential donors,” Cupp told TheBlaze. “I’ve got more jobs now than I can keep track of and I love them all, my plate is full, and I have no plans to leave the world of commentary for the world of public office — to everyone’s relief I’m sure.”

She added, “I am not considering a run at this time.”

Stone tweeted Friday that urging Cupp to run “is a [Nunberg] project — I love SE but I’m for @manhattanmadam Kristin Davis for Mayor #NYC #2013.”

Stone also advised Davis — whose prostitution ring clients included ex-N.Y. Gov. Eliot Spitzer — on her failed 2010 New York gubernatorial bid.

Nunberg told the Daily Caller Thursday he’s still working to get Cupp to consider a mayoral bid.

“This past week I met with her and talked overall strategy, messaging and communications,” Nunberg said, adding that having Cupp as a candidate would give the Republican Party “a major image boost.”

Cupp is like most people these days and all over the place. I sometimes don’t understand her. But I like her a lot. I followed her since she first was on Fox News on Hannity’s show. I am also all over the map, myself.

This is a major reason we can’t find a good nominee for president because people don’t see things the same or there is something to not like in every candidate or people start nit picking. Either way, Cupp baffled me with the choice to go on MSNBC’s Cycle. Now it seems like once in a while she is bound to say outrageous things on MSNBC while sounding like a solid conservative on Real News. So it really confuses me.

It began with her stating she was atheist but not wanting to go deep into the reasons’ why on Fox News. Then she did a book on religion and doubled down and defended Christians. Interesting.

Based on what I know about her she disliked the leftists philosophy in her upbringing and schooling and started to be vocal. It lead her to become a commentator and author and columnist.

But why in their right mind would anybody want her running as Governor of a state? You don’t hear anybody approaching Michele Malkin or Dana Loesch to run in their states. I don’t understand the reasoning by Sam Nunberg.

I agree with Glenn Beck that if you can, then get out of loony New York State and the Northeast. That Roger Simon supports a madame who has the same name as the Sex In The City actresses is proof enough how crazy this country has become.

We have BETTER start putting people like SE Cupp in EVERY AVAILABLE position
and FORCE OUT filled postions with BETTER occupants .

The Dems WILL put thugs and rapist in positions BUT HAVE A PROBLEM WITH
the GOP filling seats with someone of SC’s caliber. WHY?
Because, they know one thug looks out for the other thug, and that the
    deal is ALREADYcrooked.

BUT- someone who will FIGHT FOR WHAT IS RIGHT – presents a “bump in the road”
and IF LUCKY- might blow the game!

The Left say the GOP is made up of old white guys. OK..point taken. Let’s face it.
The “old” who play fair & abide by the rules ARE GETTING FED UP AND LEAVING.

The REST either know nothing about how to FIGHT – OR –
ARE TOO WEAK-KNEE’ED TO FIGHT. It’s just not them OR just plain AFRAID.

So, where does that leave us?
Sittin’ on the outside watching our ole’ battle ships sail out to sea – never to return.

Meanwhile, across the isle at “THUG UNIVERSITY” they’re turning out young and eager
THUGS, who could care LESS about “Laws”, let alone learn or follow them..
    BESIDES- their examples are THUGS!

    This CAN’T CONTINUE.
Decent people don’t want to run for office and the 2 or 3 there CAN’T fight this
    battle of CORRUPTION, alone.

Constitutional Law – starting with the TOP!
    The “shake-out” will be TREMENDOUS.

Point taken. But I am thinking it is time to bail out and start thinking about what are the next steps. I don’t blame anybody from leaving hell holes like New York. I wouldn’t want to be in a area ripe for all sorts of problems when the SHTF. I also don’t think it is possible for a super conservative to win in the bluest of states because those states are brain dead. It is bad enough trying to win elections due to fraud and keep Allen West in Office. Our GOP is a bunch of *******. So it is time for a new political party.

S.E. is a sharp kid. She knows that NY is too far gone to be pulled back from the abyss regardless of the leadership in place. Bloomberg has made a massive unrepairable mark with the giant jackboot of giant government and it can’t be fixed. Not even a super storm that clearly showed the failure of government at every level could wake em up.

She’s cool and all, but I listen to here nightly via the roku route and while she says so many cool things, that RINO inside here is always dying to get out, and it usually does every once in a while (like, we HAVE to raise taxes because the mainstream tells me so).

Unfortunately, she has to downshift her hot-rod brain so the libs can understand her. She takes on 3 or 4 of them at once and hammers them into the dirt. Then she goes out and tosses a few back. All the opponent would have to do is quote some of the stuff she’s said (remember when she said she’d never vote for an atheist despite being one?) or mention she works for Glenn Beck’s news site and NYC would toss her out faster than you can say “New York City.”
