President Obama Honors Rosa Parks Anniversary With a Picture of Himself on a Bus
President Obama’s detractors often accuse him of excessive narcissism, pointing out that the narrative surrounding him always seems to be “historic” or “fundamentally” transformational. After being elected in 2008, Obama famously told a captivated audience: “This was the moment when the rise of the oceans began to slow and our planet began to heal…” Twitchy further reminded that the White House actually altered the biographies of previous presidents to insert references to Obama, and he has a history of honoring others with photos of himself.
It appears to have happened again. To honor the 57th anniversary of Rosa Parks refusing to give up her seat on a bus, the White House posted a photo of President Obama on the same bus, seemingly deep in thought.

The photo was actually taken back in April, and ABC News related at the time:
At a campaign fundraiser earlier today at the Henry Ford Museum in Detroit, President Obama had a chance to sit and reflect inside the old Montgomery, Ala., bus on which Rosa Parks made history.
“I just sat in there for a moment and pondered the courage and tenacity that is part of our very recent history but is also part of that long line of folks who sometimes are nameless, oftentimes didn’t make the history books, but who constantly insisted on their dignity, their share of the American dream,” Obama told donors at a subsequent event in suburban Detroit, according to a print pool reporter on scene.
The personal moment for Obama at the Ford Museum was not captured by White House press corps photographers, who were kept on the sidelines of the event.
The caption on the original photo says it is an “official White House photo” taken by Pete Souza, a photographer for President Obama.

as if he actually had something to do with it.
He couldn’t board the bus, have a reflective, pensive moment
and quietly, keep it to himself-
he had to exploit it for another cheap, tacky photo-op.

She was already convvicted of check fraud and prostitution and was hired by King to ride at the front of buses until she got called on it.
Parks rode at the front of the bus for close to a month until she found one full enough where they asked her to move. Once she finally got arrested, King forgot she existed and left her to rot.
Only once the Montgomery bus boycott started working did they decide they could use parks as martyr/heroine.
What they teach in the history books is pure BS.

Obama has absolutely NOTHING to do with the civil rights movement of the 50′s and 60′s past, his dad was born in Kenya and his mom was a white woman from Kansas. The guy grew up in Indonesia and Hawaii, both fairly multicultural areas of the globe not to mention his family probably never had to worry about finances.
It’s akin to suburbanite Vanilla Ice claiming he grew up in the hood. Just laughable.

But think about it. The incredible courage of Rosa Parks, a single, helpless “second class” American citizen, set in motion a movement that ended segregation and energized America to become a better place. That was a real “butterfly effect.” Partly as a result of Rosa Park’s refusal to move to the back of the bus, America changed for the better.
I know you hate President Obama and you say it’s not because he’s black. I believe you when you say you disagree with his policies. When you say he’s become an absolute dictator – except of course, for the filibusters and the other little aspects of our broken Democracy that prevents him from passing any legislation whatsoever – then I wonder.
In any case, I think that the first black President of the United States being photographed in a bus is a great image of how far country has come from the days of slavery, from the days of lynching “uppity blacks”, from the days of JIm Crow, is historical and priceless.

Mere weeks after spiking the football over Bin Laden, members of the SEAL team Obama exploited were killed when their helicopter was hit by Taliban and al Qaeda forces. The families stated explicitly that they did not want photographers present when the bodies were returned to Dover. Obama ignored those requests and had a photographer present to take a shot of him “saluting” our honored fallen as their flag draped coffins were returned home. The photo was then placed on the white house website as “photo of the day”.
As candidate Obama he chose not to visit our wounded at Landshtul when he was told he could not bring his press crew with him..instead he chose to workout at his hotel. He was told he could use the base’s photographer but apparently that wasn’t good enough for Mr “World Citizen”.
After the “police acted stupidly” statement Obama had his “beer summit” complete with photos.
And my favourite….During the Obamcare debacle, Obama’s people handed out labcoats for the photos of the “doctors” who turned up at the white house in support of his legislation.

What drives him to insert himself into celebrations of others like Neil Armstrong (remember that picture of Obama)? Have we ever had a president as insecure as him?
The most sickening and saddening aspect of this is that over half of those who voted think this loon should hold the keys to our nukes.

I would like hear him take a stand and tell everyone which race he identifies with.
His White half. His 3/8ths Arab blood or his 1/8th Black blood history.
Or does he, like Tiger Woods, believe he is a combination all of his blood lines.
