‘F**k Off Pope’: Pope Benedict Joins Twitter & Is Greeted With These Vicious ‘Bile & Hate’ Tweets
Pope Benedict XVI will start tweeting in six languages from his own personal handle (@Pontifex) on Dec. 12. While not a single message has been sent from his Twitter account yet, the head of the Catholic Church has sparked quite the buzz following the announcement that he will be using the social media platform. Not surprisingly, along with signs of support have also come hateful messages that Twitchy has dubbed “shameful.”

The Vatican said Monday the pope will be using a question and answer format in his first Tweet, focusing on answering questions about faith — in 140 characters (or less). Before 8 a.m., his account already had nearly 15,000 followers. Just as quickly as supporters anxiously followed the pope, so did detractors voice their opposition.
“Sweet, Pope Benedict is getting a Twitter account. Everyone get your best bile and hate ready to chuck his way!,” one user wrote.
“Hey Pope, maybe you can start by apologising to everyone,” added another.

Comedian Roseanne Barr also decided to get in on the pope-bashing, writing, “The pope is just another man in a dress telling women what to do.” Below, see some of the other “hate tweets,” as captured by Twitchy (caution: language):

Of course, there were also signs of support for the Catholic leader. But these negative messages show a level of disrespect that is, on many levels, startling.
The pope sent his first tweet last year from a Vatican account to launch the Holy See’s news information portal. The Vatican’s communications adviser Greg Burke told a press conference that the Twitter handle @Pontifex was chosen for the pope’s personal account because it not only means pope in Latin, but also bridge-builder, suggesting unity.
How often will the pope tweet? Burke said, “as often as he wants.” The Vatican has been increasing its presence in social media to try to spread the faith, particularly among the young.
The Associated Press contributed to this report.

Since no church preached of a pre-trib, left behind rapture prior to 1830 is it possible that the whole thing is just made up? Now you’ll probably give me Revelation 3:10, 4:1, 2 Thessalonians 2:6-7, 5:9 but to get a real idea of when this event happens and who it happens to just read Mathew 24, see verse 21 = GREAT TRIBULATION, no rapture yet. A Christian country arises(U.S.A.)
Stealthily mix Catholicism deep within its governing structure
Corrupt all governing officials with Catholic ideals
Stealthily mix Catholicism into Protestantism
Then cause evil to spread much more openly from Government to upset the people
Romanized Protestants will then want to “take back” government
A “Protestant” grass roots coalition is formed
Romanized Protestants INSIST on a Catholic form of government by influencing the vote
At same time increase in disasters cause economic hardships
Politicians and Romanized Protestants unite to figure way out of the mess
A “moral” form of government is agreed upon as good for the people
A church & state “image of the beast” is then created
A Communist form of Government is created
The “community” is uplifted above the individual
Mark of the beast is then enforced to “get right with God.”

Posted on December 3, 2012 at 10:06pmt’s no mistake you are seeing pro-Catholic propaganda everywhere these last few years. From the media buzzing about John Paul II’s life and death, to Roman Catholic commercials called the “Passion of the Christ.” All they are doing is running a global campaign with the end result being a Roman Catholic globally accepted moral authority for even the Nations! They already have the churches in agreement since June 26, 2000 when the One World Church was formed with the Pope as leader. And now they have a Pope that was not only an admitted Nazi soldier, he was elected by the previous Pope to run the office of Inquisition so as to enforce the teachings of the church more intensely. This public relations ploy of John Paul II was perfectly planned so as to herald in a man like Ratzinger. What I see now is a win – win situation for the Vatican. Even if Ratzinger does evil, AND HE WILL, the people will still embrace Rome because of their beloved Pontiff John Paul II. They will ignore Ratzinger’s antics to a certain degree, and even speak out against him. But they won’t leave the church because they believe John Paul II was a holy man, and therefore confirming the Vatican a place of God. It’s a reversal of what we saw happen in the USA. Clinton with all his evils made the people vote for a “so called” born-again President.

It is a shame that the bottom of the gene pool have decided to attack him on the very first day of him trying to open up to younger people with a Twitter account. This does not surprise me that these twitter attacks have occurred. Satan and his minions will do anything they can to discredit God or anyone that follows his teachings. Indeed it is greater even than the power of the Virgin Mary. For, while the Blessed Virgin was the human agency by which Christ became incarnate a single time, the priest brings Christ down from heaven, and renders Him present on our altar as the eternal Victim for the sins of man – not once but a thousand times! The priest speaks and lo! Christ the Eternal and Omnipotent God, bows His head in humble obedience to the priest’s command.
So go ahead and keep on crucifying our Lord….A thousand times!! Once was enough.

That said, I know that ultimately GOOD wins over EVIL!
I also know that God desires that none die (or as Jesus said in his terms “be lost”). Therefore, I will be dedicated to spreading the Good News in how I live, what I do and where I go. I will be ready to explain and defend God’s plan to any who wants to know. I will share the wonder that is the Bible, the Faith and Salvation provided to man through the once-for-all death of Jesus that we celebrate every day in many Catholic Churches. And I will point to where my hope comes from, the historical Resurrection of Jesus and his return to the Father to side on His right hand until “the fullness of time” when the Savior/the Messiah will return to earth and those who have refused to believe and live for the Lord will be sadly be judged. Those of us who do call Jesus Lord and Savior will be called to the Wedding Feast of the Lamb as His Brides, the Church.
I will stand and even die for what I know is true even though I cannot “prove” it. To witness means to be a martyr–you give up your life to share the Gospel or you are called on to give up your life.

The “splitting of the veil on the “Holy Of Holies” is the ending of the old covenant, which is honored by the sacrificial offering of the blood of the first born animal (scapegoat/oblation), and the beginning of the new covenant ,which is the Promise of Jesus Christ the perfect sacrifice/oblation, “This is the bread which comes down out of heaven, so that one may eat of it and not die. I am the living bread that came down out of heaven; if anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever; and the bread also which I will give for the life of the world is My flesh. Then the Jews began to argue with one another, saying, “How can this man give us His flesh to eat?” So Jesus said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His blood, you have no life in yourselves. He who eats My flesh and drinks My blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last day. For My flesh is true food, and My blood is true drink. He who eats My flesh and drinks My blood abides in Me, and I in him. As the living Father sent Me, and I live because of the Father, so he who eats Me, he also will live because of Me. This is the bread which came down out of heaven; not as the fathers ate and died; he who eats this bread will live forever.” (John 6:50-58 NASB; and mentioned in Matthew 26:28; Mark 14:24; Luke 22:20 as well.). Posted on December 4, 2012 at 4:46pmWhy am I not surprised. You asked HILLBILLYINNY, “How do you reconcile the splitting of the veil on the “Holy Of Holies”, when Christ died on the cross, and calling your priest “father”?” The splitting of the veil has nothing to do with calling a priest father. If you want to reconcile the splitting of the veil with Jesus Christ dying on the Cross, then the Covenant of the oblation sacrifice of the Old Covenant is no longer valid. Jesus Christ is the perfect, unblemished oblation as stated before. Yet, I think you added, “calling your priest “father” so if the primary query was sufficiently answered you’d have something else to try and discredit Catholicism with. You’ve made your point very clear. I’m stating an observation that nothing I can say, nor direct you to (primary sources of the Catholic Church) to read that you’d be willing to consider. To you it’s all lies based on the protesting propaganda in which you were taught. My only hope is that when Jesus comes for His Kingdom on earth we will both be present to Praise Him in His Glory.

Posted on December 4, 2012 at 6:50pmPAX…..Sorry about last post(The LONG one,) That was some of my own reference material.
‘Bout the veil being split ,top to bottom, in plain English was the abrogation of intermediary “priests” allowing ‘whosoever will’ to approach the Throne of Christ. The meaning is plain in the languages, that priests ( or a Pope) were no longer needed to be connected to God…..Proven on Pentecost when the Holy Spirit came upon the disciples. Uh oh….. Of course you won’t hear that taught that in catholic churches….A lot to lose, if the real meaning ever got out.
I know that I could get in a lot of trouble for bringing all this out on this venue, but the website has been up for three years, so far. Nothing I say here I would not repeat ANYWHERE, anytime.
Come get me. You can’t touch my soul.

Posted on December 3, 2012 at 8:58amAnd yet they get their panties in a twist when Glen puts Obama in a jar of beer. They left has sunk to such a low level. They want respect for their crude words and ideas, but they just can’t have anyone differ from them. Obama sits in the WH, occasionally!, and is exempt from everything that is happening. The Pope is in Rome, yet he is responsible for the priests around the world and is held accountable. Go figure. Take God out of society and you have a multitude of degenerates. We let it happen, now we live with these disgusting people. God bless the Pope and all good people who cringe at the level we have sunk to now.

Heck no!!
Chicken sh*+s, all of them. They know that the Pope and Catholics around the world won’t go hunting them down to lop their heads off so the Pope is a safe target for their ignorance and intolerance.
Just sayin’.

Posted on December 4, 2012 at 2:26pmbiohazard23: Your claim that people would not say the same things to Muslim clerics has no factual basis. In fact, were the the spiritual leaders of Iran or the mullahs in Afghanistan to actually get a twitter, I guarantee they would receive far more inflammatory things. There is nothing about those tweets to indicate those people are atheists. All they seem to be are people that have an issue with the rampant child abuse and molestations that seem to be ingrained in the catholic church. The vatican covered up hundreds of cases of abuse by priests and transferred many to new places instead of disciplining them.
Then you have people like Father Benedict Groeschel, director of the Office for Spiritual Development for the Catholic Archdiocese of New York, who wrote an opinion piece for the National Catholic Register calling Jerry Sandusky a “poor guy” and blaming the victims of sexual abuse. There is a major sickness in these spiritual leaders. Anyone that does not feel that someone so complicit in such crimes does not deserve to criticized is complicit in them as well. They, as well as the Nazi pope, should be behind bars.

Pope is prob doing an exorcism of the twitter accounts right now.
Idle hands is the devils work shop…and if you have time to twitt and play on the net it usually ends up bad.
Proverbs 10:4-7 4 Idle hands make one poor, but diligent hands bring riches. 5 The son who gathers during summer is prudent; the son who sleeps during harvest is disgraceful. 6 Blessings are on the head of the righteous, but the mouth of the wicked conceals violence. 7 The remembrance of the righteous is a blessing, but the name of the wicked will rot.

Posted on December 3, 2012 at 8:58amThey’re the same ones who probably think abortion is a viable means of birth control, too. After all, everything’s relative, right? Nothing is evil or wrong except all things conservative, moral, and Christian/Catholic/Jewish. In that case, those things must be eradicated so that they are no longer reminded that there are indeed moral absolutes. Just don’t try to reason with these types of people. They will just twist and warp your arguments to suit themselves so all we can do is just pray for them. ALl you have to do is read the posts of our resident trolls around here to know that. :)

Posted on December 3, 2012 at 11:11amHatred for the catholic church runs deeper than most think. They are in many cases quite rightfully so seen as the instrument of the evil they claim to be against. Some of those posting hateful comments have been harmed by the church and ot its priests.I don’t hate the catholic church as much as distrust it.They helped to form and run the rat lines at the end of ww2 and the years after it.They helped nazi monsters torturerers escape.I see it as an act of treason and have not can not and will not forgive that.I have never been catholic will never be catholic.Believe it or not I understand there spiritual reasoning for running the rat lines. To me it simply wasn’t valid.
They have been involved with too many other evils over the years to think it isn’t representative of the whole church.

Moniker: A personal name or nickname. Originally meant a mark left by a tramp on a building or fence to indicate he/she had been there; therefore, a tramp’s moniker identified him/her like a signature. (http://www.thefreedictionary.com/moniker; accessed 12/3/2012; 9:53 PM PST)
