‘You’re F**king Nuts!’: Jon Stewart Lambastes Fox News & Its ‘Persecution-Seeking Researchers’ Over ‘War on Christmas’ Coverage
It wouldn’t truly be the “War on Christmas” without comedian Jon Stewart going on the attack and blasting Fox News and other conservative media outlets for covering the ongoing culture war. On last night’s episode of “The Daily Show” the entertainer did just that, calling those who embrace the notion that anti-Christmas sentiment has run amok “crazy.”
“You’re probably aware by now that our nation has been embroiled in a long and bitter war,” Stewart quipped. ”The annual Fox War on Christmas…it’s become a little predictable.”

The comedian went on to play clips of Fox reporters lamenting atheists’ anti-nativity displays. In one clip, “Fox & Friends” co-host Gretchen Carlson insists that the “War on Christmas” is a legitimate occurrence regardless of what critics say. She rhetorically asked if she and others are “crazy” for covering the issues and for embracing the notion that this so-called “war” is problematic.
“As a general rule if you’re trying to tell whether you and one other person are nuts, ask a third person. Preferably someone outside the asylum,” Stewart proclaimed. ”Yes, you’re f**king nuts.”
“The Daily Show” host contended that Christmas is everywhere and there, while atheists have had some rare victories, the holiday’s prominence continues, with non-believers serving as a very minimal threat.
“For whatever annoying local ticky-tack Christmas abolishing story you and your merry band of persecution-seeking researchers can scour the wires to turn up, the rest of us can’t swing a dead elf without knocking over an inflatable snowman or a giant blinking candy cane,” Stewart contended.

Stewart is obviously liberal, but the segment here wasn’t bad; the liberal bias was only for the laughs. As a Christian I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: if you think there’s a “war on Christmas” you are either blind or just looking for an excuse to get angry.
Are there atheists out there who hate Christians? Of course… though I’d wager there are a lot more “Christians” who hate atheists. Heck, assume that 5% of each group hate the other side: that means millions more Christians hate atheists than vice versa. But look at that clip of all the decorations in “liberal, slimy, God-less” New York: it’s Christmas-themed EVERYWHERE. Stewart’s right: if you think that Christmas is somehow getting shoved aside and outlawed, you’re nuts.
Of course if you think Christmas is all about putting Nativity scenes and Christmas trees on public property, you’re likely doing it wrong already.

The issue is governments, such as Rhode Island continuing to get involved in the issue and changing the names of holiday symbols and greetings all for the purpose of keeping the erroneous “separation of church and state” issue going. They are not establishing a religion by calling a Christmas Tree a Christmas Tree.

Ever heard of Bill Maher? Bill Maher will tell you he is a Jew and he will tell you he does not believe there is a God. In fact, he’s written books about it. Many of these atheist groups are lead and funded by people of Jewish lineage. Jew can mean both a race and a faith. I know quite a few Christian Jews and even Christian rabbis. I know gentile Jews (Dr. Laura).

I actually get it from this app i have called skygrid. Shows you a story and then all other links reporting on the same story. Sometimes up to 30-40 different articles. Thats actually how i found this wonderful website full of well wishing reserved people. Then i researched it and researched glen beck. So right there i was wrong. You cons do have comedians. With his chalkboard talks and all.
Try reading more than conservative sites and opinions. It opens your eyes to other things and gives you a more fact based viewpoint but i am sure you all know all about that.

1) Atheists can’t process the if you dont like don’t celebrate/participate/watch rule and think that others need of them to be heard
2) Extremists from other religions don’t like christmas so they want it banned; when organizing to make your own holydays festivities is more productive and favors cultural exchange.

I also don’t see a majority of Christians abstaining from Halloween.
I also don’t see Christians not using Arabic numerals(you know the letters 1,2,3,4….etc) were originally founded by Muslims right? Surely you don’t feel the need to NOT use those numbers, correct? Are you a Muslim now because you use those numbers?

Isn’t that the truth. Nobody but Obama and a handful of his followers won anything Nov. 6. I can only chalk it up to their poor educational experience at the hands of liberals for their woefully short-sighted approach to this “victory lap”.
I see these lefty trolls all over the internet now. Gloating in some silly “We won!!!” sort of euphoria. Well like you said……We ALL lost that day. Even the moochers. And they don’t even know it.
One day, likely not tomorrow and maybe not in the coming weeks……BUT VERY VERY SOON in the “big picture”, the day of reckoning will come when there simply isn’t anymore money.
When that day comes…….I won’t be nearly as afraid as those who have been promising the moon and stars should be. Even if they come for you last……after all the evil rich villians you’ve propped up as targets for their anger………they will still come for you.
