      @rickc34, When I’m with people who pray I bow my head out of respect. I think you’d find that most atheists are tolerant of others’ beliefs and there’s only a small percentage that isn’t. On the other hand there doesn’t seem to be a lot of tolerance towards us on this site.

      I hope you understand that the out and proud athiests that shut down graduations, church plays, field trips and remove crosses from memorials are the only athiests that we ever see. Therefore, you can’t blame people for thinking of them and their immature behavior when we think of athiests. It is kind of like thinking all muslims are like the ones on TV that blow up children and sing in glee when the twin towers come down or Obama is elected.

      I really don’t know what the percentages really are on either “side.” Some atheists are really vocal (and immature) — those stories get good coverage on The Blaze. That seems to have the effect of prompting Christians posting on The Blaze (and other online sites) to adopt a very aggressive posture. I believe in Jesus Christ: He is my Savior and Redeemer. Despite that, when I have posted totally factual statements (such as a recent study showing that atheists have a high level of knowledge regarding religious beliefs), I have been immediately pounced upon as an “atheist” and had some pretty vile insults hurled my way. Seems to have become a rather reflexive sort of thing for some folks. It might be because of the recent excesses of atheist groups, but I just don’t know.

      Careful. I’ve been instructed by the well informed that she is a strong conservative. The fact that she uses face paint and is holding a gun convinces me even more…….THIS WAS NOT JUST A PHOTO OP. This is an example of what she has done every year despite no media attention. She is an avid hunter and classically trained dancer……so I’ve been told.

      I hunted ducks and geese for years and wore a hat, coat jeans, hip boots and gloves and carried a Remington 870. Still have the 870. Have to admit we did stay hidden behind brush in a water blind, so maybe things have changed now. Do they have microwaves in blinds now :)

      Are all conservatives supposed to agree on everything? Are we supposed to turn on each other because one of us has a different idea of how things should go?
      S.E. is an atheist so I do not expect her to agree with God because she does not know him.
      I will also not kill our wounded. S.E. is right about most things and wrong about others…she is human and gets a little grace.
      She thinks that the homosexual is not wrong just different. She is wrong but at least she is honest about were she stands instead of agreeing so that she is liked.

But because this young woman is relatively….and I mean RELATIVELY attractive…people are suddenly blinded…especially males.     I always liked SC and I like her even more now. My husband and I never miss a Duck Commander show.

      Not so sure anymore SURF…

      after she’s been near these dudes….. she just seems… kinda.. yucky??

      Maybe if i could observe her shower to verify that she’s truly clean i would be more comfortable making a provocatively chauvinistic comment about her again?…. ;)

      I waited until everybody left to talk to her. Her entire shtick is dry humor, but i still made her laugh! Maybe if it was a more relaxed setting like a house party, I may have been able to make her do a little more.

      GOODSTUFF, I often find myself agree with what Cupp has to say, but otherwise I would just prefer to watch Duck Dynasty for the goodness in the show. Must really tick off the libs since each episode ends with a blessing over an evening meal.

      Clan is not Klan. Why do you require a concealed weapon permission-slip to exercise your right? We have only the rights that we defend.

      Good people ought to be armed as they will, with wits and Guns and the Truth. Thank goodness Wisconsin is an open carry state, no license required.
