‘Wilkow!’: Is U.S. on the Side of Israel in Settlement Backlash?

Britain, France, Sweden, Spain and Denmark all summoned Israeli envoys on Tuesday to protest over Israel’s settlement plans in the West Bank, with Germany and the UN secretary general Ban Ki-Moon also denouncing the move. Amidst this international backlash, the U.S. has not been outspoken in support of who they often label their closest ally, with Israel taking notice. The Telegraph reports:

The newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth, quoted unnamed Israeli diplomats as saying the outcry could not have occurred without the complicity of the Obama administration, which has profound differences with Mr Netanyahu over settlements.

“We would not be mistaken to say that Europe was acting with Washington’s encouragement,” the paper’s commentator, Shimon Shiffer wrote. “The White House authorised Europe to pounce on the Netanyahu government and to punish it.”

The settlement in question would build 3,000 settlers’ homes and develop an area of the West Bank that could render a Palestinian state unviable. Political consultant Michael Prell and Christians United for Israel Executive Director David Brog joined ‘Wilkow!‘ Wednesday to discuss the mounting controversy and what it could mean for US/Israeli relations and the future of the Palestinian state. Respect is a two-way street, The_Jerk. It’s not like Israel just came up with the idea of building houses in East Jerusalem. Arab sympathizers want things both ways. They complain because Israel won’t do anything to improve East Jerusalem, and then when Israel wants to do something, they complain because Israel wants to establish claim to all of Jerusalem. Well, go ahead, Israel, own your capital. It’s not like the world is going to like you if you don’t build.

Zionists are today’s Nazis. They are doing to Palestinians, what was once done to them by the Nazis. They learned their lesson well, but the wrong lesson. They cry victim, when they are the perpetrator.

  Are you really that blind? You know what, don’t even bother answering. Anyone can see that you spout propaganda that has no factual basis. The Nazis slaughtered about 60% of European Jews in less than 10 years. In Poland alone, which held one of the densest prewar Jewish populations, close to 90% of Jews perished. If Israel was repeating the actions of the Nazis there wouldn’t be any Palestinians to grant statehood to. The Palestinian population in the territories has more than doubled since 1967. Jordan slaughtered more Palestinians in a month than Israel has killed in its history. More Palestinian civilians have died in the conflict in Syria than in the Pillar of Defense operation.
  
  It would appear you are allergic to anything factual that doesn’t fit your preplanned conclusions set forth in your propaganda smears. You call this site a source of Israel propaganda for reporting facts while you ignore facts to create your narrative. You really have studied Goebbels quite well.

I am all for israel keeping its borders. But what they are doing is idotic. It is an act of aggression to get back at the UN and it is a complete kick in the face to america. If we are as great a country as we claim to be, we have to call this what it is. Bulls**t.

First of all, I believe he is an aggressively bigoted Australian Provocateur who spends work hours Monday-Friday riling up unsuspecting readers with outrageous statements while posing as a US Citizen. He is intentionally belittling, baits anyone who uses knowledge or fact as “Paid trolls using media matters talking points” and uses cruelty First he will declare you a “TROLL,” an irony that does not escape me. Soon he will adopt one of those “snappy names” he was trying out on you and try to get others to use that to address you in 3rd party as a sign he has “followers.” Then you know you have arrived when he announces you are one of the “Multiple Personality Trolls” that emanate from the same Liberal Devil Shop called the “Encinom.”
